I loved this car since it first hit the market...mostly cos of its price and reliability behind the brand. It really is a game changer for the south African budget car market.

To be honest, that engine sound sounds good to me... When I press the accelerator I wanna hear the car respond and not just in speed only but also in sound❤❤It is nice music to my ears...makes me feel like I am in a sports car😂😂. A car that is too quite will frustrate me

I actually dont mind the engine noise of the K15B, I have driven the M16A engine in the Vitara and it makes the same noise under full throttle and I find it reassuring during a overtake.
Definitely buying this one!

Yoh, I'm liking this co-mingling. Be it yourself and Reba, or alongside splendid personalities like Muzi or Ciro. Damn, I really love all of you guys! BTW: the Fronx looks the part. i think it would do quite well with a 2.0 liter offering, with the manual option still. then I'd really consider it. Well done to everyone
I’m with you there , Suzuki really needs to consider giving their cars more powerful engines.
And yes I’m a big fan of meeting up and working with fellow TH-camrs , it’s what supporting local TH-cam is all about.
Maybe, not a 2 l but the M16A but at the same time you have to remember this car is very light and you dont need alot to push it, in India for example the variant most people actually buy is the one with the 1.2l NA engine despite having the 1L boosterjet option. What you dont want is to but a bigger engine than this car or people can handle. Personally I think the k15B is fine for it, while the 6 speed auto would be best whats on offer works.

Really detailed review, I'm supposed to get mine at the end of the month. I'm #21 in the reservation. I hope I get mine! (Automatic of course, I'm like you manual is a big no no and 90% of the cars in my country I'd say are now automatic).
Update: after waiting endlessly for 3 months I sadly changed to a Toyota Rush hope to have my car by next 2-3 weeks
It would have been a different review had you driven it on a windy day. I would still like such a review because my baleno was just awful against freeway windspeeds. Maybe it's a Suzuki thing
I have 4 speed baleno and the vurrrrr is so nice for me for as much as the manual I'll down change or change down gears
I like the fronx. Price, practicality, fuel efficiency. But just not a proper family car. That's why I prefer the grand vitara instead. Not much different in terms of engine but definitely more family vibes.
Yeah but that boot is just too small. Once you put a sensible 3 or 4 wheel stroller with a table in there thats it and you cant use the lower level to get height in the top spec because they decided to give you a full size spare(dont like them for that reason, would rather have a biscuit).

Yep, revs under 3000rpm @120 better than manuel

😂 This looks waaay better than the Baleno , I would choose the Fronx over the Baleno any day of the week.
I would strongly suggest you take your family to the showroom have them sit in the car and if possible do a test drive and see how everyone and everything all fits. Its a great car but its a small car and it might not play well with big families.

It's best if you drive the same car in manual & in auto, you will see the manual allows you to get more power from the underpowered engine

Are the Revs too high on the automatic? Or only during acceleration.
The revs are mostly fine , it’s only during acceleration that they go higher and louder.
I wonder where's the Revs at a constant 120 on a flat road. 3500 Revs and above might be "high" with loud engine noise. Below 3000 are very nice

Hello, i want to buy a Wildtrak, what engine should i get and what colour do you recommend?
Depending on your budget , I’d say the V6 , the power on that engine makes highway cruising effortless and comes in handy if you’ll be towing or carrying things in the load bed , as for colour that depends on your personal preference but for me I’d go with either white or black.

Hey love your content, just as a quick note, there is no suzuki fronx available in SA, the waiting list is long, you can get a car in Feb if not march next year.i tried to order but I couldn't wait till Feb unfortunately. But love your content.

@mrhowmuch Hi, less than a month, like two weeks ago if not last week, multiple dealers said the same thing about nationwide shortage. I stopped looking completely because one dealer went as far as around 250 people are waiting for the car. Gauteng was going to get stock in Feb apparently.
