I think he’s comparing the old brake and the loadcell one cause he still has the foam in it

Finally someone said that a potentiometer with a spring also allow for muscle memory based on pressure. I am mechanical engineer and never understood why people made that claim only for load cell. I was almost doubting my knowledge and wondering what I was missing.
    Anyway, Great video!

I use a squash ball underneath my brake pedal, I find it to be an amazing feel.

It's personal preference, but IMO, the pedals feel a lot better with the tuning kit. I used them for a year with the stock plastic pedal faces before switching over to the tuning kit, and I really appreciated the difference underfoot. It made heel toeing better too.

See items like this I wish I could test in store like mouse and keyboard in Best buy. I've been on my g92 for 5+ years and deciding to spend money on a DD wheel or A nice set of load cell pedals. So many decisions.

Do you have a microcenter near you?

I recently got the metal pedal "tuning kit" and I believe you are wrong in saying they don't offer any additional tuning. they actually are longer and higher, so you can get more leverage on the pedals. it does make a noticeable difference in pedal travel and feel. having said that I do agree that they are a bit of a over priced option.

Update, 2 months in and the elastomers have failed. I'll update this with the warranty experience.

Fanatec replaced the elastomers, but I had to ship the brake pedal there. The brake is also the USB hub for the other two pedals so I bought the Sim Lab XP1 instead.

Bolt them to a plate so you push them into the wall

Hi. I'm happy with the loadcell. Not so much with the accelerator pedal. My question is, can I use the clutch pedal as the accelerator? 5:32 5:32

Yes, just map another axis as throttle in game.

Why is your clutch in the middle? :O

I hardly ever use the clutch. Having it this way is more symmetric for my body when left foot braking. I find it helps a lot with knee and hip comfort during long sessions.
