One of China’s key aviation hubs - Shanghai Pudong International Airport

Shanghai Pudong International Airport is located approximately 30 kilometers east of downtown Shanghai, covering an area of about 37.8 square kilometers. As a major international aviation hub, it handles most of Shanghai's international flights, while Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, closer to downtown, primarily services domestic flights.
In 2019, Pudong Airport reached a passenger throughput of 76.15 million, ranking eighth in the world, only behind Beijing Capital International Airport. The same year, its cargo and mail throughput reached 3.6242 million tons, ranking first in mainland China and third globally.
The main areas of the airport include Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and their corresponding satellite terminals. This video mainly showcases Terminal 2.
Terminal 2 consists of three levels:
1st floor - Domestic baggage claim area, arrival lobby
2nd floor - International arrivals and domestic departures area
3rd floor - International and domestic check-in, security checks, and waiting area

Does the airport have smoking/vaping area or lounge?

Since October 2016, smoking has been prohibited within both of Shanghai's airports, with all indoor smoking rooms shut down and no longer in use.
