Great couple of videos, thanks for sharing your travels - another place to add to our list. Look forwards to bfollowing you into SA and Tassie. Mark and Mandy
Hi Mark & Mandy, Glad you enjoyed the vid we are getting a little excited to be heading to SA and Tassie now, it has been a long time coming. Thanks for dropping us a line. Cheers Andrew & Lisa
Thank you very much for all the information you both have provided. Absolutely stunning place. Wild life and fauna brilliant. My wife and l hope to be heading over that way down the track soon. Once again thank you and safe travelling to you both in SA and Tassie.
Thanks for another great video, love the WA beaches and the pretty blue water. Spectacular sunset. Very informative information on how you handle seeing snakes, thank you.
Thanks Guys, yes we are getting excited about Tassie, it's been a long time coming. Also a little excited to see what SA has to offer, it looks fantastic as well. Cheers Andrew & Lisa
I made a comment back when you first started to post videos to YT that you should have a larger following! I'm thrilled that you've grown to 2.6k, but I still think that your audience should be greater. Your uploads are quality, informative and a pleasure to watch. Keep going guys!
Hi Cerami Art Dental, yes I remember your comments from back in the early days. Thanks for the kind words, we are wrapped with even 2.6k as we never really even thought that we would try and get a following it was really just a hobby for me and something to keep me out of Lisa's hair. We didn't monetize the channel because I didn't want to feel like I had to post something every week, there are enough out there doing just that. We are super excited with the small elite group of followers we have and we get so many lovely encouraging comments from people just like you. It keeps me motivated to think we are able to help people plan their travels or even just keep dreaming of doing something like this. Thanks for getting in touch we really appreciate it. Cheers Andrew & Lisa
Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Very informative. Recently subscribed and as we are heading to WA later this year we caught up with your past vids, Mt Augustus, Kennedy Ranges and Osprey Bay amongst others. Thoroughly enjoyed them all. We are also heading to Tassie in 2024 so we look forward to your Tassie vids. Thank you for the effort you put into doing these videos and safe travels in the future.
Hi John, Thanks for the very kind words and we are wrapped you are enjoying the vids. It is a little labor of love knocking the vids together but it keeps me from getting bored and annoying Lisa too much😊. I'll try and keep up the standards for the Tassie vids Cheers Andrew & Lisa
Thankyou Andrew and Lisa for the great episode. We are from SA and went to Esperance last November on the back of your video. Looks like we will be going to Fitzgerald River NP next year when we spend 6 months exploring WA. I can recommend the sea lion swim at Baird Bay in SA ( 50Km south of Streaky Bay ). you play with them in shallow clear water in a protected lagoon....just magic. Safe travels guys. Rob & Tamra
Hi Rob & Tamra. 6 months in WA should be amazing there are so many spots worth a visit, Will certainly look into the swim with the sea lions, that is something I would love to do. I think Lisa might take some convincing it is hard enough to get her in the water when there are just fish around. Cheers Andrew & Lisa
Thanks for your take on Fitzgerald NP. We got to spend a night there after leaving Esperance. As I’m in Tassie, if I can help with anything, please get in touch, I have a spot In Orford if that helps for a stop. You probably meet lots of people but we met you both in Lucky Bay when you were hosting. Cheers & travel safe
Hi Eric, yes Lisa remembers chatting to you about Tassie. We will drop you a line for sure once we get to Tassie and work out a rough itinerary, been a bit slack on doing that yet. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers Andrew & Lisa
Hi Mal, thanks for the kind words and so glad you enjoy the vids. The camera gear is pretty basic. 99% of the video is shot on a GoPro Hero 9 using a windproof sponge cover to reduce the wind noise. The photos are from either a Sony RX10 mk4 or just my Samsung Gallaxy S53, I hate to admit it but the phone takes just as good or better shots than the Sony when you are just using them for social media, but the Sony has a 23 to 600mm zoom so great for birds etc. The drone is a DJI Mavic Pro but a very early model, they have had 4 new versions since mine, but it is still fantastic for footage and photos. Cheers Andrew
Wow I loved this episode so much!! Beautiful beach and sunset footage, and the rocks are amazing (I love rocks). And the wildlife is incredible. Thanks again for another great video. 😊 Very excited for the next adventures, sounds amazing!!
Oh so beautiful thanks again ,we are so blessed in the west .
Your not wrong, every State has it's own unique beauty, but there is certainly something special about WA.
Cheers
