- During a long hot summer in inner city Dublin, a man looks back on his own youth. The film captures one of the more unusual sides of Dublin City in beautiful stark black & white photography. A combination of contemporary images of young Dubliners diving into the Grand Canal with a nostalgic, poetic voice-over from Irish folklorist, Terry Fagan.
Motherland are a new production company in Dublin, Ireland, who spent a few weeks during a heatwave this summer, making this short documentary.
