There was a reason why a coalition of villages decided to team up and take them out. Just look at the ones who we have info on. Mito just casually sealed the full Kyuubi into herself, and not only survived, but was still around when Minato was school aged. Kushina, not only survived having the Kyuubi ripped out of her, but not long after was still able to restrain the Kyuubi to an extent. Karin manifested chakra chains that brutalized that giant wood golem during the fourth war. Pein killed Hanzo and Jiraiya, bodied Konoha and then destroyed it. Naruto was on that protag BS, enough said.
Sealing jutsu are honestly terrifying as a concept. Like in Naruto there is canonically an eternal afterlife, so if you fight a normal opponent you're risking your life but that's not technically everything. If you fight someone with powerful sealing techniques like most of the Uzimaki, there's a very real chance that you'll not only lose your life but also lose your afterlife. That's gotta be some kind of war crime in-universe and I can see why they got wiped out if they were doing that a lot.
@@lorddoomer7271 The Orochimaru that was inside of Sasuke. A small part of him got away and he regrew and lived but the previous version of him got stabbed by Itatchi.
In the manga, when Naruto first meets his mom's chakra when battling Kurama, she describes the Uzumaki as "savage". I don't think the Uzumaki were a very wholesome clan. They maybe wanted too much power while being innately unstable. Every Uzumaki we've met is incredibly over the top emotional, typically being aggressive. Perhaps the Leaf Village recognised the Uzumaki's "savage" side and their ridiculously huge arsenal of power as a clear threat.
I think the uzumaki's that we met or over the top emotional and typically aggressive because of the situations they were in. I mean if you lived in a country that was constantly at war and was looked down on like the hidden rain village, I think you would be a little bit like Nagato too. And Karen had a pretty bad upbringing too.
I never realized Ashina was that strong. I figured Hashirama went to him because his specialty was fuuin jutsu, and Hashirama’s best fuuin jutsu really only worked on tailed beasts, whereas Ashina could seal anything. Also, this makes me wonder what other more powerful deals the Uzumaki knew but weren’t able to pass on. Kurama described the 8 trigrams seal was “nothing”, compared to him. To me, that implies the 8 trigrams seal was the bare minimum to seal half of Kurama, let alone full Kurama, which required a full blooded Uzumaki.
Hashirama's fuin jutsu might have arguably been taught to him by his wife Mito, seeing that he could use it to challenge the 10 tails shows how OP the Uzumaki techniques were
Hashirama did manage to pin down Edo Tensei Madara with Gate of the Great God, so his sealing jutsu is still pretty good beyond wood release. It would have been GG if Madara didn't get Obito to reanimate him.
One of the huge things i always had a issue with in Naruto is that Naruto never wanted to know about his last name or the clan over all like i felt like when he met his mom that would’ve been a perfect way to tell him about his clan and why he is the way he is. Like man to get more back story or even him asking 1st hokage after the war was over what happened to his clan would’ve been amazing to hear. Hmmm if only but great thing we have ppl like Hammer that can fill in those holes with the info we do have 🔥🔥🔥
yea that really bothers me, they could of made a lot more to the series if they had explored the uzamaki clan. Leaves a lot of questions in the air specifically what happened to them.
I think it's shown in the anime that Naruto is more Namikaze than Uzumaki. Naruto has some Uzumaki abilities, his insane amount of chakra and his healing, but those are also byproducts of being the nine-tails jinchuriki. We never see Naruto attempt a sealing justu so we don't know if he has the innate affinity for it, but he has bad chakra control so it's not likely. Also the main reason Naruto's last name is Uzumaki is because Minato had too many enemies and it would endanger Naruto (plus risk losing control of Kurama).
@@joelawson396 Gonna have to correct you there bud. Naruto has shown to have some of the best chakra control in the entire series. His chakra control was bad at the beginning because Kurama was purposely messing with the flow of his chakra when he tried jutsu. Rasengan and Rasenshuriken are some of the best chakra control feats especially when he made extremely small rasenshruikens. It is stated Rasengan was one of the hardest jutsus to master because of it's chakra control.
Indeed, but no Kishimoto wanted to, yet again, give attention to the emo boy storming a kage reunion, please kishimoto let your protagonist and other characters develop instead of throwing Sasuke into everything
@joelawson396 actually naruto did learn an advanced sealing jutsu as the key to unlocking the cage that kurama was in as he used it on his hand and arm
If the Uzamaki were able to survive the Reaper Death Seal because of their insane amount of chakra. and because of their insane amount of chakra they don' t age as quickly. Then the answer of why Ashina had White hair instead of Red hair might be staring us in the face.
I always assumed that Ashina was actually extremely old that's why he had white hair. Mito was like 100 years old and her hair was still red, a very dark faded red but still red. Mito and Kushina both had a special type of chakra and more than a regular Uzamaki so I wonder if Kushina could've lived that long. She did survive the extraction of Kurama and was able to hold him down with her chains. I wonder what Ashina was capable of
I feel like it would totally be a "Death Note" type interaction with the Shinigami very impressex but being a totally dismissive sarcastic fuck. Likely the Uzumaki discovered it given their advancements and I absolutely could see an Uzumaki and Shinigami having banter back nd forth given their natural heightened "wild" emotional states.
What would be HILARIOUS tho? What if the Shinigami never speaks anymore because got summoned and couldn't handle the bants just went full silent treatment. Lol
I imagine Ashina to be like Yamamoto from bleach (mainly because of a fanfic I read), he is so strong that he is waiting for a stronger Uzumaki to take his place as the head but after decades of waiting nobody managed to be at his level.
Wouldn't be surprised if he was a monster when hashirama and Madara were kids. Maybe konoha didn't help because they thought ashina would be able to handle the situation himself.
Alternatively, the 22 masks could be for a group of uzumaki's to jointly perform those techniques and thus share the burden, so that the impact on any individual become minimal. perhaps even in the cut, say 22 people each only cut across 1/22 of their stomach, but rotate such that the shinigami ends up cutting across the entirety if its.
A more interesting take on the theory is that there are _22 different Shinigami_ contracted to the Uzumaki Clan. Consequently, there are _22 different versions_ of the Dead Demon Consuming Seal, each version corresponding to a different Shinigami, and each having their own cursed Noh Mask. This would explain why Orochimaru had to choose a _specific_ mask; he wasn't picking out the face of _the_ Shinigami, but rather picking out the face of _his specific_ Shinigami! If he picked any other mask, he'd summon a different God of Death, cut his stomach, and find that his arms are still nonfunctional, and maybe he even unleashed something _terrible_ into the world.
Kinda insane minato still managed to pull half of kurama considering the massive amounts of chakra he’d used prior. In particular porting the tailed beast bomb.
Just when you think hammer cant come up with another crazy take.... he does and boy was i hooked from the first word. Much respect brother much respect!!!🤩🤩🤩
I still find it hard to believe that a CLAN that strong was just wiped out, even if it was done from the inside like the Uchiha. Even them with no help shouldve been enough to handle the other clans taking in that it was a war driven era so every normal shinobi wouldve been stronger than the present
but wasnt it stated that kaguya was the first. And why didnt any of the other otsutsuki mention the ones that were sealed, and only mention kaguya. Also lets say that was true wouldnt hashirama the god of shinobi also know about them or least it be a myth or something. I get it could be easily explained just by the author saying it, but it wouldnt make sense at all.
I think the arrogance got to them. Having a clan be so independent with their own village and no other deep rooted alliance was clearly a sign of over confidence, they could easily have just joined Konoha but instead chose to leave themselves isolated. End of the day no matter how strong they were if the other villages were remotely as strong as the united shinobi alliance during the war arc then a single clan would be easy to over power. Just thinking about the kage and the shinobi of that time period too you can see how strong the other villages united could be when it happened
@@PratyushSinghclassified wouldn't it be funny if some dude just poisoned another in his sleep and the rest just killed each other due to an internal struggle related to it, while the killer used the ensuing chaos to leave the village and go bounty hunting? Pretty chill rest of his life if he just dyes his hair brown or hides it and kills literally everyone that sees him fight.
It's very scary to imagine that all the tailed beasts would not be split up over the world or even a village but within ONE clan. Imagining the Uzumaki capturing ALL the tailed beasts
I imagine that when Hashirama and Madara were children they heard this horrible stories about the Uzumaki clan and their leader Ashina, about these Shinobi wearing Oni masks, their opponents all of a sudden being unable to move until they scream in horror and drop to the ground dead as the Uzumaki member is cutting his or her own stomach, about how they were impossible to kill cause drinking blood healed even the baddest wounds. That definitely seems like a reason for four of the great villages to make sure to get rid of them.
Bro that is a scary story. I could see even Madara and Hashirama trembling. Even the comments say Kushina talked to Naruto a little about the clan, and she referred to them as "savages". So its the good, the bad, and the savages.
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if this betrayal by Konoha was Tobirama’s doing… he’d be the guy to feel like his brother was too soft and he’d make the tough decisions, possibly even delaying the discovery of the attack until it was too late for Hashirama to intervene.
I think one line that gets overlooked a lot in the anime is when kushina says how the clan were basically savages. Not very civilized. So it's entirely possible that they were sacrificing themselves similarly to what kimimaru and the kaguya clan did.
That could be a lot of Konoha propaganda fed to her since she arrived in Konoha though.... I mean look at how the village were turned against the Uchiha due to Danzo's manipulations? They fawned over Sasuke, sure, but that was only after he was the sole survivor of his clan.
@@SnowxXxAngel The problem with that assumption is that she lived in Uzushiogakure for a time before being brought to Konoha; she has personal experience. Even if she was young, I can't imagine she would be so out of touch with her homeland as to fall for a narrative out of line with its reality. Moreover, it makes no sense that the Uzumaki would have had good enough relations with Konoha to send Kushina if The Leaf was talking shit about them at that point And honestly, most of the Uzumaki's we've met have had some consistently concerning personality traits: - Kushina had an infamously violent temper her whole life, which she seemed to genuinely struggle with - Karin is similarly violent, and she is also perversely obsessive with a casual disregard for personal boundaries - Though largely mild mannered, Nagato defaulted to acts of mass destruction whenever he was set off. To get revenge on Hanzo, he murdered everyone who ever even alluded to knowing the man - Accept for arguably the obsession, Naruto doesn't really display these extreme emotional states, but he also doesn't show most of the other signature Uzumaki traits (ex: red hair, sensory abilities, healing chakra, sealing chains, etc), so I'd argue that his Uzumaki blood is too diluted to draw conclusions about what is typical for the lineage - We know too little about the rest we've been shown Altogether, despite their apparent heritage, I expect that the Uzumaki clan's symbol being a nearly one-to-one match with Indra's original Mangekyo design is very purposeful. They seem to display mannerisms consistent with The Curse of Hatred. The Uzumaki feel deeply, and there are consequences for those around them when those feelings sour. To that point, Karin's chains only manifested in response to sensing Sasuke's death, an event that would have triggered the Mangekyo had she been an Uchiha, so there really may be a connection here
One of the things fans overlooked when Minato sealed kurama is the fact that kushina actually questioned him using the reaper death seal, since it would lead to his death. This implies that Minato has been taught one or more sealing jutsus that would not require dying. He just chose it since he knew kushina will die anyways due to the extraction. He could easily have sealed kurama within himself using a different jutsu and not split it between him and Naruto.
A few things, first as hokage his duty was to protect the village, as such she knew he would die, as did he but he entrusted his son would protect the village in his place. Second, Minato was about to fully seal Kurama after childbirth but only because the seal was weakened, leaving me to believe he couldn’t fully seal the kyuubi on his own, otherwise he would’ve done it during the the kyuubis attack. The alternate theory is he split the chakra sealing the positive yin in Naruto and yang within himself making it easier for Naruto’s chakra to meld with kuramas whereas he as a fully realized ninja could forcefully subjugate the yang chakra.
I think reaper death seal is able to split the 9tail by half because it can cut away part of the soul. There isn’t any other jutsu that can actually cut a soul by half without summoning the reaper. That’s the idea
I feel like hashirama was kept from helping ashuna somehow. It would be very against hashiramas character to allow them to die. there had to have been some subterfuge or other event that distracted him.
That is a very good theory because imagine letting your in-law die. Those same in-law who you know you could trust during a fight. This smells like black anbu or the people above the hokage's doing
Respectfully, that was one of the most detailed explanations about a character and clan that we as fans know little to or nothing about. Well done! I also think Kishimoto should have explored the past more than he did. Instead of Boruto, he could have focused on the Uzumaki clan (why they were feared so much), Sarutobi clan, Senju and Uchiha even more, and then come out with Boruto. As a writer myself, going back to the past or the roots, buys you more time to figure out what you want to do for the future, which helps develop the story even better.
At 16:30 I think you're a bit wrong here. When talking about an Uzumaki's hair colour to try to correlate that to his age you have to consider Nagato. Nagato's hair was red until his charkra was almost depleted when he used the rene rebirth to revive the Konoha residents. That's when his hair turned white, with this in mind you should consider that Ashina could be a lot younger but maybe had his charkra significantly depleted which could have lead to his hair being white.
Yeah I agree. I saw a theory that he had white hair because he had used the reaper death seal more times than anyone and survived and similarly to rinne rebirth the massive loss of life force caused grey hair. I think theories like this are more likely to why he would have white hair
Dealing Hutus were known and shown to be incredibly powerful and extremely terrifying defensively and for utility. This is the warring clans period, so to live long as a shinobi you had to be able to fight. Turning seals outwards and using them offensively to a similar effect as defensively would be utterly horrifying in their effect, and the leader of the best dealers on the planet would have to be the best on the planet at this. Even if it weren’t able to be used offensively, like explosive tags with the force of bijuudama, then he was still the best sealer on the planet. Not to mention, as leader, he also probably had the largest chakra of the uzumaki. Not to mention, kushina is easily able to restrain the nine tails, more easily than hashirama was even, and she had comparatively little training and even less experience than Ashina, and was tired, almost dead, low on chakra, and so far as we know wasn’t particularly exceptional compared to other uzumaki. So imagine a village were every jonin in can instantly stop you from being able to use chakra and each one has the power to stop the nine tails, after having given birth, while dying. Assuming the difference between them and ashina was similar to the difference between a jonin in and a kage, ashina could probably effortlessly stop the ten tails with his chains. Based on just scaling and feats at least. It likely doesn’t even compare to shukaku, who Naruto beat as a kid.
Please make a video about Naruto's Chakra levels at different times (during war Hashirama said that he has almost as much Chakra as himself and I think he meant it without Kurama) and compare it to other characters like Minato that has 1/2 Chakra of Kurama as you said in this video.
I love that for the past 9 months I have personally seen your patron list grow so huge you need to x4 the speed to get all the names in. Keep it up brudda
Legit theory. Well, almost. Not Asura speficially, probably, but... In one of the few parts of _Boruto_ that aren't an godawful filler-alike, Sasuke infiltrates a shrine that has a button/engraving for every known Otsutsuki, for summoning their images on touch...and two more that are defunct and apparently had been damaged at some point, which implies Kaguya and Isshiki weren't even the first/only aliens on the planet. Uzumaki are different enough for one to reasonably assume a different chakra lineage.
Actually this make sense why only senjus fighting the uchihas meanwhile uzumakies helped them with sealing jutsus and don’t participate in battlefield senjus are ashura’s heir meanwhile uzumakies were his illegitimate childrens
Dude. Yes the samurai shit would be so sick. I was litterally thinking it while watching this video then u said it. I love their get up. I wish they all fought like that back in the day. Lol. I still want to see when madara starts using that armor.
8:54 In the flashback of minato's death he said if an uzumaki uses the reaper death seal he/she won't die but that was the only sealing jutsu that could seal such a strong tailed beast(Kurama) and kushina didn't knew how to use it or just didn't had enough chakra to do so
There's been alot of talk in sub comments on this video about Ashina's hair being white and I would like to side with the theory that Ashina had in the past used the Reaper Death seal and upon completion his hair went from red to white; much like Nagato's did when he used the Rinne Rebirth technique. I think this is more probable than the hair turning white due to age because when we see Elder Mito and compare her to "Prime" Mito her hair actually gets darker rather than lighter in age; and we could deduce that this is the case for all Uzumaki.
or the rinnegan was an extremely rare uzumaki bloodline cause we know it takes both the blood of indra and ashura to awaken and as stated by others the Uzumaki show disturbingly similar actions to Uchiha under the curse of hatred but thats just my theory
Years ago I saw a video where they talked about the Uzumaki clan and how they died. It was said that the Uzumaki clan were devoured by the white zetzu clones and the that whole attack was orchestrated by Madara Uchiha.
@@Paradox-es3bl maybe. They could've been to strong and probably all broke out of the edotensai. So he just didn't take the risk....but yeah possibly the god of death. He didn't have the mask to pull them out the belly.
Good informational video, Nick. One thing I have to point out is the background music sounded like it had two layers on it that were off, which was distracting. Not sure if anyone else noticed, or if I'm just nuts in thinking this is the case.
What do you think would’ve happened if itachi went to go find tsunade to help him with his chakra disease but I’ve also wondered if she would even help him
It’s actually a lung related illness not chakra. He basically had hemoptysis which is dying lung cells that leave your lungs with no internal lining. Ergo coughing up small or large amounts of blood and not being able to catch your breath after minimal stress or work. Tsunade would have to give him a complete lungs transplant and hope that his body doesn’t reject the organ or that he dies from “opportunistic infections”
@Son Ofa ItchXc Shizune is capable of growing new organs for people so I'm sure they'd be able to help him. She figured out how to grow a new arm for Naruto using cells from a dead guy so I'm sure she can do that as well. Tsunade also can regrow her own organs but Shizune is capable of fixing that for Itachi, if they were to help him I'm sure that it'd be possible.
@@That_Son_Ofa_Itch Seeing how Uchiha swap eyes like I change cloths, I imagine Itachi would be able to survive the transplant. Also, wouldn't Genjutsu be extremely useful as an anesthetic replacement during Surgery?
@@Kainpound probably would be better than actual anesthetic tbh. Since it’s literally controlling which synapses fire ect. Probably would also mean there wouldn’t be any mental trauma from emergency surgery also. Since they’d be literally unconscious and unable to even register anything. I personally dont believe Hashirama was behind the downfall of the Uzumaki, i tried seeing it but it doesn't add up to me but its a fun theory Side note: i like the Theory that Ashina was Kushinas Grandfather
@@jonathanwyatt1082 I mean it would also make sense why they sent kushina to the hidden leaf to become the jinchuricky(I know that they say she had special chakra that made fit for Kurama) but you just send any random Uzumaki kid to be a jinchuricki so why not send the great grandchild of the head of the clan it just makes sense
Love the video Nick! Ashina was truly OP! It got me thinking about how they weren’t used in the 4th GSW and that they were actually wiped out. Is it possible they committed something similar to “Seppuku” with the Reaper Death Seal? Basically they were so outnumbered that instead of letting themselves get killed, they took as many of their enemies with them in a kamikaze last stand. Thoughts?
I don't know if you've done already, but I'd love to see a video describing the history of each individual village. I'd also love to see more stuff about HxH, Demon Slayer, just other anime in general (especially Tokyo Ghoul, it's only my favorite anime lmao - tho that's projecting and I don't like doing that so Imma stop).
damn man that would be too OP, i could see him making like a thousand clones and just all together going "reaper deaths seal!" and buum halh of the alliance gone
Now that you mention it, how did sasuke not get the rinnegan sooner? If senju and uzimaki chakra are similar, and sasuke got chakra from Karin repeatedly, shouldn't he have gained the rinnegan sooner?
i think you need part of their DNA, not just chakra to get rinnegan. Or maybe it has nothing to do with it, maybe Madara awaken rinnegan only because he and Hashirama were reincarnations of Indra and Ashura (Hagoromo's sons). Do you know what mean? like you need combine power of his sons to get his power. Black Zetsu actually said he sometimes was looking for reincarnations of Indra and Ashura and hoped one of them could possibly awake rinnegan until Madara did it. If it was just some random Senju and Uchiha i think his plan would happen a lot sooner.
@@richmaxmchalliwchester1984 It's mostly the chakra, but the DNA is what contains the chakra, which is why Madara has a face on his chest. Don't know why sasuke doesn't have one, though.
@@richmaxmchalliwchester1984 that makes sense at first glance, cause chakra is both spiritual and physical energy. But he literally has to bite her and break skin to suck out the chakra... in that, blood would be the physical energy. It probably would explain why his rinnegan got an tomoe amp though instead of a regular one since he had both senju and uzimaki chakra.
Uchia do not just get the rinnegan from mixing DNA with Senju. It has to be a Uchia that is a reincarnate of Indra and a Senju that is a reincarnate of Ashura mixing there DNA in order for the Uchia to get a rinnegan.
We have seen it. 3rd hokage used reaper death seal on the reanimations of the first two hokage, had more life force, sealed them and lived to then try and seal Orochimaru
Wow great job dude came across this channel by accident but you give the most in depth drive into the Naruto Universe then anybody else keep up the good work bro 👍
@@scorpiosage3669 I think uzumaki clan are unstable. Kushina is hot headed, karin is crazy, Nagato tends to loose control, and Naruto thinks Obito ( who murdered his parents and caused a war) is a cool guy.
One day I will get this Tokyo Treat and Sakura Co. Lol the way Nick immediately reviews the food after throwing it in his mouth. One day. Good to see them back on the channel. Episodes feel incomplete without them.
So the Senju's due to their actions or inactions has eliminated the Uzumaki Clan and the Uchiha Clan. Sounds like a good theory to go into, that somewhere down deep in Konoha, there are some powerful cabal still pulling strings. A group more shadowy and powerful than Danzo, Hiruzen, the Elders, etc.
Isn’t crazy how Naruto wants so much to be accepted but the village who turned their backs on him and probably are complicit in his real clans extinction
Regarding white and red hair of the Uzumaki I think that their hairs become white once they have served their purpose .My reason for believing so is that we saw Nagato's hair grow white after reviving everyone in Konoha and after knowing that Jiraya's dream will be fulfilled . And Nagato died preety young , so it can be concluded that growing white hair has nothing to do with getting old for the Uzumakis . That may give us a hint that may be Ashina have fulfilled his purpose , and that's not surprising considering he being the most powerful and leader of the clan .This is my theory let me know what you think of it. And thank you for making awesome contents . Really enjoy your channel . 💐💐👍👍👍
I think it was because of the sheer amount of chakra needed to revive so many people all at once that caused his hair to grow white... not to mention how much his physical state deteriorated once he summoned the statue in the first place after Yahiko's death/suicide. He used up his own life force to do what he did then, and again when reviving Konoha.
After learning these things about the uzamaki clan it got me wondering what if Naruto was told about the uzamaki clan would that change the story line?
As for your theory, him being scared of the Uzumaki makes sense, Hashirama isn’t as perfect as everyone thinks, and the Leaf could have been there in a heartbeat to help them, with them out of the way, there was no one that could potentially go against him.
Is there a good example of Hashirama being like that? Naruto and Hashirama have an intense loyalty to their friends even if they are incredibly dangerous.
@@willjapheth23789 when people have an addiction, like gambling, it’s almost like there’s more than one personality there. He “asks” about why they’re not free when they’re distributing the tailed beasts, but in that of itself, that whole treaty was a gamble, he went out, forcefully captured the tailed beasts, who mind you, weren’t out causing mass destruction willfully, and was just handing them out. They had their own lives, and they were sold into slavery. Why? Because Kishi said so right? Well, in doing so, he acknowledged that Hashirama was not perfect, and did in fact have other motives in his life other than creating a village. Kushina saw the Uzumaki as “savages” but if we look at Mito she was far from being a “savage.” In fact, from what we have seen, she was poised, and proper. Karen, is not a savage, but poised and weird, Nagato wasn’t exactly a savage either. So, anyway you look at it, Hashirama will always be the one in history that sold sentient beings into slavery, on a gamble of a treaty happening. Dude isn’t perfect. Strong? Absolutely, but far from perfect.
@@Iron_Karma00 the tailed beast capture thing is an interesting point. He was desperate to balance power to maintain peace but if he considered Uzumaki allies I have a hard time imagine a betrayal. I don't recall Uzumaki being called savages, but if Hashirama thought so then it's more believable that he would be apathetic to fate of the hidden Eddie.
When did Ashina use adamantine chains? Even in the clip of him aiding Hashirama he used another sealing jutsu. Either way, I'd forgotten that mini story and feel like Boruto could get a pretty great story arc of that beast being let loose. And sealed into... I donno, Denki?
and people still say the uchiha are the strongest if the uzumaki used they're chains against a sussano the sussano who'd be destroyed or vanished in and instant and even they're gentsutsu was useless against them they are too op and I believe the theory that nick has talked about on his tiktok that they sealed otsutsuki gods
Hashirama letting the uzumaki's perish because he has the wood release to seal tailed beast is way too short sighted for himself and tobirama. Only one person had the release and it wasn't a bloodline release that was passed down. So why bank you village's potential war power on something only one man had
One thing to note, when we see kushina giving birth to naruto, the 8 Tetragram seal appears, and that seal is the seal of the reaper god, meaning someone also used the reaper seal to seal the nine tails in kushina. Which means that when obito took the nine tails out of her, she survived and even obito stated that, and when you think about it it’s the same as using that fuinjutsu, it’s just the other way around, meaning that yes, they probably were able to survive when they used the fuinjutsu. I think that the shinigami was probably an otsutsuki and the uzumaki possibly having a close tide to the otsutsuki clan.
It's possible that Mito herself released Kurama and sealed him into Kushina. We don't see her after Kushina becomes a Jinchuriki, so maybe her hair turned white the way Nagato's did.
@@Amo-v27 I mean, we know how sarutobi barely manage to seal orochimaru’s arms, and Mito looked a lot older than hiruzen, would she have enough strength to seal both half’s of the nine tails, if she can than that further proves that uzumaki have a lot more life energy that any other clan.
Great video and all but there are some misconceptions. The uzumaki clan unlike the senju and uchiha clan wasn’t fighting in the warring state era. Kushina stated that they allied themselves with konoha, that hashirama we see is already in konoha headband meaning thats after the establishment of villages. The senju clan and the uchiha clan were mercenaries clans for hire, the uzumaki clan on the other hand had their own island territory and was self governing. Why would they participate in the warring state? They were literally detached from the rest of the world. Kushina tells naruto that the uzumaki came to be quickly feared and then destroyed…we know their demise happened around kushina’ S childhood, so why would they be feared now when they’ve been fighting for centuries? Unless they started getting involved in the world affairs after konoha was already established.(which is why the senju clan members had the konoha headbands) another thing when tobi was explaining itachi‘S past to sasuke, we were shown many war state era clan banners including the senju, uchiha, sarutobi yet the uzumaki clan symbol wasn’t there. Simply meaning they weren’t there. One last thing, every time tobi(pretending to be madara) or the real madara talked about naruto new ability or lineage, they always said “huh MITO clan” mito came into konoha when madara was still there. Madara knew of the uzumaki clan only through mito. Wouldn’t he already known about them if they were ally to the senju clan during the warring state era? Seems how the uchiha were allies with the hagoromo clan.
here's a question of strength of 100 i'm not sure about, how big is the actual pool? we know it's obviously a lot but like, is it proportional to your own normal chakra supply? like 100 times your own as the name kinda implies? cause i'm just saying, it might take a LONG time to fill but if a full blood uzumaki had strength of 100 it would a) be kinda redundant but b) it'd be insane! (assuming it's now 100 times an uzumaki's chakra supply in reserve)
It took Sakura 3 years, but she only had exceptional control, not a huge amount of Chakra. I think she has less than pretty much anyone we'd care about. (Sasuke, Naruto, Kakashi, probably even like Asuma and Kurenai) So assuming she's around average (since I don't remember any comments on her having an above average amount)... it would probably take a full Uzumaki like 30 years, based just on Chakra reserves. Plus, part of why she was able to learn in the first place was her exceptional control... certainly why she was able to learn so fast. I'm pretty sure someone (maybe Tsunade herself) said Tsunade took significantly longer to fill hers originally. Now, to be fair, she also expends a fair bit to maintain her youthful appearance... but that mean the average Uzumaki would take EVEN LONGER to learn/fill theirs. I'd say a solid 50 years, unless they had exceptional Chakra control, like Sakura. Hell, it's just about the only thing Sakura had going for her, after Kishimoto forgot she was supposed to be Team 7's Genjutsu specialist IMMEDIATELY after introducing the very idea she would be lmao. So I'm going to assume most Uzumakis wouldn't be anywhere near her level, and it would take them a lot closer to 50 years than 30. Feel free to ask NC, Seth, or Swag to do the math themselves, though lol. I don't have any databooks or anything nor enclyopedic knowledge. I just did some simple clown math.
If I remember correctly the strength of 100 seal is bassically siphoning off a price of your chakra to put away for later. The more you siphon for longer the more you have when you need it. Anyone with a lot of chakra and good control over it would be DEVASTATING with this ability.

Nah, I think she was just heavily socialized with konoha propaganda.
#konohabad
I think the uzumaki's that we met or over the top emotional and typically aggressive because of the situations they were in. I mean if you lived in a country that was constantly at war and was looked down on like the hidden rain village, I think you would be a little bit like Nagato too.
Hashirama's fuin jutsu might have arguably been taught to him by his wife Mito, seeing that he could use it to challenge the 10 tails shows how OP the Uzumaki techniques were
What if hashirama used the reaper death seal ❗❓ what would happen😔😶🤔❗❓
Not to mention the fact the Uzumaki’s were so good at sealing away Kurama that they made a seal specifically to use Kurama’s power
Kinda insane minato still managed to pull half of kurama considering the massive amounts of chakra he’d used prior. In particular porting the tailed beast bomb.

I still find it hard to believe that a CLAN that strong was just wiped out, even if it was done from the inside like the Uchiha. Even them with no help shouldve been enough to handle the other clans taking in that it was a war driven era so every normal shinobi wouldve been stronger than the present
Could easily be explained by saying they had sealed some otosuski and were in a weakened state
but wasnt it stated that kaguya was the first.

Original title: You Know Nothing About Ashina Uzumaki…
So its the good, the bad, and the savages.
i love your videos, your one of the few youtubers i could never get tired of
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if this betrayal by Konoha was Tobirama’s doing… he’d be the guy to feel like his brother was too soft and he’d make the tough decisions, possibly even delaying the discovery of the attack until it was too late for Hashirama to intervene.
He has expanded my knowledge of naruto each video
Moreover, it makes no sense that the Uzumaki would have had good enough relations with Konoha to send Kushina if The Leaf was talking shit about them at that point
And honestly, most of the Uzumaki's we've met have had some consistently concerning personality traits:
- Kushina had an infamously violent temper her whole life, which she seemed to genuinely struggle with
- Karin is similarly violent, and she is also perversely obsessive with a casual disregard for personal boundaries
- Though largely mild mannered, Nagato defaulted to acts of mass destruction whenever he was set off. To get revenge on Hanzo, he murdered everyone who ever even alluded to knowing the man
- Accept for arguably the obsession, Naruto doesn't really display these extreme emotional states, but he also doesn't show most of the other signature Uzumaki traits (ex: red hair, sensory abilities, healing chakra, sealing chains, etc), so I'd argue that his Uzumaki blood is too diluted to draw conclusions about what is typical for the lineage
- We know too little about the rest we've been shown
Altogether, despite their apparent heritage, I expect that the Uzumaki clan's symbol being a nearly one-to-one match with Indra's original Mangekyo design is very purposeful.

Diamond is one of the strongest material things

Bro your videos are amazing
I second the prequel idea.
Please make a video about Naruto's Chakra levels at different times (during war Hashirama said that he has almost as much Chakra as himself and I think he meant it without Kurama) and compare it to other characters like Minato that has 1/2 Chakra of Kurama as you said in this video.

Uchia do not just get the rinnegan from mixing DNA with Senju. It has to be a Uchia that is a reincarnate of Indra and a Senju that is a reincarnate of Ashura mixing there DNA in order for the Uchia to get a rinnegan.
YAY My #1 favorite TH-camR UPLOADED!!! My day just got that much better. Thanks Nick! Love you brother!
The Uzumaki's sealing ability is very mysterious, first time taking a dive 🍻
We have seen it. 3rd hokage used reaper death seal on the reanimations of the first two hokage, had more life force, sealed them and lived to then try and seal Orochimaru
Its sad the usumaki got wiped out they seem like a very powerful clan
that's why they were wiped out
They were feared because of their strength
Wow great job dude came across this channel by accident but you give the most in depth drive into the Naruto Universe then anybody else keep up the good work bro 👍
I had no idea hashirama feared an Uzumaki
They was humbly dangerous
@@scorpiosage3669 I think uzumaki clan are unstable. Kushina is hot headed, karin is crazy, Nagato tends to loose control, and Naruto thinks Obito ( who murdered his parents and caused a war) is a cool guy.
@@alphablob7885 That Naruto part made this comment golden 🤣🤣
Love the video and keep up the great work
Imagine an Uzumaki had all tailed beast sealed within them, that would speed run the whole series. But what if tho?🤔
I think the gedo statue would still be needed to become the ten tails, but black Zetsu would probably trick that Uzumaki into making the ten tails.
@@willjapheth23789 true I can see that happening.
Not to mention Karin broke that wooden 1000 hands statue with her chains when madara killed sasuke
What would Itachi and Naruto fusion be like, you know Goku style. Interesting to think about.
He used up his own life force to do what he did then, and again when reviving Konoha.
always pulling out these vids keep the grind up !
After learning these things about the uzamaki clan it got me wondering what if Naruto was told about the uzamaki clan would that change the story line?
He was told about the Uzumaki clan by Kushina
@@exequielbreton4393 I meant like earlier like the beginning of the show
That prequel would be amazing, truly one of the few times we the people would not want but love a prequel
Uzumaki Chronicles: The waring State period would be a dope and welcomed prequel series
When did Ashina use adamantine chains? Even in the clip of him aiding Hashirama he used another sealing jutsu. Either way, I'd forgotten that mini story and feel like Boruto could get a pretty great story arc of that beast being let loose. And sealed into... I donno, Denki?
I always learn so much watching these awesome videos. 👌
and people still say the uchiha are the strongest if the uzumaki used they're chains against a sussano the sussano who'd be destroyed or vanished in and instant and even they're gentsutsu was useless against them they are too op and I believe the theory that nick has talked about on his tiktok that they sealed otsutsuki gods
Hashirama letting the uzumaki's perish because he has the wood release to seal tailed beast is way too short sighted for himself and tobirama. Only one person had the release and it wasn't a bloodline release that was passed down. So why bank you village's potential war power on something only one man had
Maybe Hashirama was not let know.
@@m.caeben2578 it was during hiruzens run as hikage, the uzumaki village was still there when kushina was young
@@eelo216 Thanks for the info.
Bro omg I can tell you just got into Naruto like 2 years ago and speed read everything
@@Amo-v27 finally someone mentioned Nagato as well!
@@ItsOnlyGenjutsu true that
@@Amo-v27 I mean, we know how sarutobi barely manage to seal orochimaru’s arms, and Mito looked a lot older than hiruzen, would she have enough strength to seal both half’s of the nine tails, if she can than that further proves that uzumaki have a lot more life energy that any other clan.
@@MuhammadAli-qs4ck Mito lived for another 10 years after Kurama was removed from her I believe, so it's not impossible.
this video got dark fast in 20:00
Great video and all but there are some misconceptions.
Kushinas mom is the one that taught minato the reaper death seal
here's a question of strength of 100 i'm not sure about, how big is the actual pool? we know it's obviously a lot but like, is it proportional to your own normal chakra supply? like 100 times your own as the name kinda implies?
cause i'm just saying, it might take a LONG time to fill but if a full blood uzumaki had strength of 100 it would a) be kinda redundant but b) it'd be insane!
