I bought one new in 1985, a leftover. Excellent bike. Good looking, fast, dead reliable. I put 35k on it. Jet kit, Kerker 4-1 and it sounded perfect and ran even better. My favorite motorcycle I ever had.
Brought a tear to my eye when I saw the dash. It is the same as my GT750. I loved that bike. Great video. I am shocked and dissapointed that this video hasn't got more views. Keep it up. Subbed.
That’s a sweet scooter. My friend had the identical one when I had the 1980 KZ550 LTD during the years of 1985-1991. The Gpz is the original Ninja. New sub here.
I have a black /red one. 1985 Kawasaki GPZ. 58500 miles on it It runns. It has great compression. Just don't know what do do with it. It is almost mint un altert, no moving accidents, slid her once into a ditch therefore a few nicks. It has problems and will intermittently just loose power. i would consider selling it to someone that wants a show piece i would not like to see it getting krashed or trashed it lived to long and i took exelent care of it
I miss my GPz 550 so bad. Sold it to a guy who made it into a basket case and wouldnt sell it back to me. :( They he disappeared. Looked EXACTLY like that one.

I had an '82 GPz750 back in the day.. awsome bike... watching this vid is making nostalgic... might have to wander on over to Craigslist...
