@N330AA It was an extremely rare case that day. What happened is the aircraft was full (as everyone was returning back from holidays), Zakynthos has a very short runway (2000 m) and the wind was calm, but there was a slight tail wind on both ends of the runway. Thus, MTOW was quite low with an already extremely heavy aircraft. Therefore, we couldn't fly directly to Gatwick, so we landed at Milan to pick up some more fuel (I would imagine around 4-5 tonnes). I believe what the crew was trying to do is to try and make the aircraft a bit lighter while we were waiting for Corendon 737 MAX to land. We should have already been ok with the takeoff weight, but the crew was just making it a bit lighter as the runway is short. It is an extremely rare case, and if you have a look at the flightradar log of our flight, you'll see that it happened only once with us. I am currently working on editing the video from that flight, and I will upload it in the coming days. Please make sure you come back to check it out!
@airflightchannel8078 I usually play MSFS2020 and do alot of short runway takeoffs and the pilot should've used more flaps to takeoff like say 15 or 20% down from the a321neo that way It can lift off better with the fuel and passengers it has and then just retracted them bit by bit in each speed they reach but then again I'm yet to experience the A321 neo this Saturday when I come here 😁😁😁 U28203 seat 25f
@nickson_2024 If you have a closer look, they chose Flaps 3. I had a chat with the pilots in Milan, they mentioned it was TOGA departure from Zakynthos. Nobody departs on Flaps 4 haha, it just wouldn't lift up 🤣 Wow, good luck this Saturday! Zakynthos is marvellous, you will enjoy it. Just hope you will get a bit more luck than me on the wind conditions 😭
@elite1ns4n1ty7 Exactly! The poor captain on this flight was running back and forth, chatting with the ground crew and calling easyjet ops in London. They did a brilliant job with this one, although understandably, many passengers were frustrated.
That was amazing. The sound of the Leap 1a is beautiful
It absolutely is!
That roar was incredible… loved that departure🤩
It is amazing 😊
Nice neo roar! My favorite plane
Same here!
Finally a neo roar
Превосходное видео!!!
This honestly sounds better then the ceo, fight me
Duh it’s a NEO engine 😂

@@Rowan66109 that’s a valid point
@@R1520nneo 😤💪
Now you‘re exaggerating…
We love Zante
Cool
What row did you sit
I think it was 9F
Oh are they burning of excess taxi-fuel to not be over MTOW? Is that what that is?

@@nickson_2024 They know what they are doing and would have tested different configs on EFB

And how do you know it was a full power take off?
@johnmorris7815 I spoke to the pilots in Milan, asked them whether they used full power, they said yes.
announcements 😡😡😡😡
I was praying for the good timing, but instead they added volume to automatic announcements and were almost screaming to the micro 😭
