Today's adventure was sparked by necessity: We ran out of eggs :) So instead of just running to the store we decide to have a walkabout on the northern part of Bora Bora. All we know is there's a hike, some World War II guns and plenty to see along the way.
BTW - YES it was really, really hot and humid. They've been seeing some record breaking temps across French Polynesia.

The older man singing was wonderful, it's nice to see someone who is truly just happy.

Nikki and Jason..I am a former United State Marine Corps Veteran and have been watching you guys for some time now. I have been to most of the islands that you are visiting now. Wow you bring back memories to me when I wore a younger man's clothes. Right this minute It's Sunday about 10:40 AM eastern standard time the the 26th of May. Tomorrow morning the 27th is Memorial Day. Please can you give a Salute to all our Service folks that helped put us all in our FREEDOM situation as in the USA. I am sure there are many service folks following your awesome videos. Service people please give Nikki and Jason a shout out!!!! And don't forget Cleo and ....Darn I forgot the other kittys name.

Nikki, I was fascinated by the shopkeeper’s ability transform that blue cloth wrap into numerous different styles on you. The sheer number she said that was possible is 115. Impressive! Did you get instructions on how to do them all? I think my daughter would love that.

Knowing, while I am watching this, that you will be without your home in Fiji, makes me slow down catching up on your videos. Someday, you will be back on Curiosity. As tough as it’s been since March, a small bit of compensation for me has been finding your channel. I feel like I’ve been on adventures with you two. Your French Polynesia videos bring back such wonderful memories of our trip there in 2017. Now, I’m sure we will return. Also, it’s quite possible, your extended stay in Figi will extend the life of a quite incredible man. Life works in mysterious ways. Best wishes for a speedy return to Curiosity!!
Discovering my favorite Bora Bora, The people are so kind, and one thing rings true, I never experienced any unkindness, no rudeness from any Tahitian, they are peaceful and it changes your persona to be among the islanders. What a sweet nature Polynesians are.

Incorrect, the top joins the bottom in the front not the back. She has the same suit on when she jumped in. Watch closely before she jumps in at 17:52 and you can see the front area.
