Bring 2 cars per test, people who are bragging about their numbers and see who's really on top. Competition always makes things interesting. Otherwise its just seeing what the power really is which is ehh after awhile. Seeing everyones reactions are fun though, but just the single car dyno is ehh.

That kinda sucks, he didn't really get to use it properly in its rotary form :( It only looks like he only did a max of 3 events with the rotary, but I guess it makes sense since the Vargas brothers moved so it probably became a pain in the A to maintain with his tuner gone
I mean speaking on "simple 1000hp" Kyle from boosted boiz makes it look very simple. His mr2, Honda Odyssey, nsx, and hatch all can run 1000hp and they are relatively the same setup ups. Those engines are true power horses.
Pretty sure they Devcon their Cylinder walls though. I know in the J series 240 they have which has twins, was Devcon'd. Blew up recently but only because one cylinder was too lean. Cylinder walls remained intact. They 2 stepped that thing for several minutes lmao.
I enjoyed this episode more because it was great to see Hert’s hard work in action since building isn’t his full time job and that was his personal ride with a great story and explaining his rational behind some of the choices he made vs some shop that built something to promote on the gram.
I love that Gary is back working with hoonigan always met up with him at the car meets always brings the positive fun energy super awesome dude, much love uncle Gary 🫶🏻

honda's are beasts for reliability. i have a crappy r18 single cam but its the 2010 8th gen, so all the little issues have been taken care of like the coolant passages cracking and other little things. it has a manual valve body auto in it and i've literally floored it it's entire life, bounced the rev limiter around corners, just all around had 0 respect for it. got it newer with 22k on it now its at 220,000 and still runs fine with no smoke or anything, original transmission too. the oil does fuel foul faster so now i just change it at 4k instead of 6.. tbh i wana stroke it with a crv crank and do the rod/pistons then turbo it lol just because is the most hated motor but i kinda love it. it's not a bad motor i can do 125-130 in third. i just wish i had an overdrive off switch so i could have a 4 speed on the backroads. 4-5th like to fight with each other.

When I used to dyno cars we would use 4th (or whatever is closest to 1:1) and have the weather station set up the correctional factors if not the numbers aren't legit.

I've been dying to get a S14 and swap a Honda J32A2 into it and boost it. Yeah, I know that Kyle from BoostedBoiz did it, but Ive never owned a S chassis before and the J series engines are all awesome and Hondas always handle boost well (when built properly with supporting mods). All NA engines when boosted should have ARP head studs, a MLS head gasket, either CSS, or a good block guard, and it needs to have the piston rings gapped properly. Another thing, NO 2 STEP! 2 step breaks pistons and either cracks or shatters stock cast sleeves! My EJ8 Civic coupe with a fully built LSVTEC turbo with stock sleeves and a Supertech block guard makes 709 whp at 29 psi on a Garrett GT3582R and it's because it's on E85 and a well built tune. Shoutout #MiahTuned
