I couldn't agree more, it's not just the real life characters but the scientific fidelity and everything in between. I can't fathom why it's had such a hard job to get backing from their producers.

READ THE BOOKS! The show only presents 2/3 of the total story. It gets really good after the marco storyline(which the show drags out). The ships marco was give by the Martian offshoot, it was a distraction so the Martians could slip away and play master race at protomolecul planet/shipyard. Also the protomolecule and unknown aggressor story gets a conclusion.

I agree - 'The Expanse' is wonderfully good on every level - plot, characters, world-building, everything. Along with 'Westworld', a massive achievement for the writers, producers and actors. I am surprised it didn't get an even bigger following.

I watched this a couple of years ago and round about season 3 I was ready to give up to be honest, but I heard that season 4 was an improvement so I carried on. IMPROVEMENT? OMG! From season 4 it raises the game so far it hits BSG levels of greatness and doesn't let up for the rest of the show. WATCH IT NOW!

You make it sound like The Expanse might go away. It is an Amazon Prime product and those never go away. Unless they sold it, which I doubt.
