What do I have to do to connect both headlights? Do I need to do that wiring for each headlight? Or can I connect both headlights to the same cable and connect that two-fuse adapter?
Where did you get the headlights? And did you have them painted to match the truck? I've got the same year and color truck. Not really sold in getting the morimotos.
I know this is a few months old but I just got the same ones. Them look sharp. Installing Mine maybe this weekend. Anyways, question if you don’t mind? Will they still work as fog like if I decide not to hook up the DRL and just operate off the switch in the cab or do I HAVE to run that DRL wire to the fuse box for them to work. I have the exact same truck. LTZ beautiful truck.
Thanks for getting back and thanks for the info. They prob look sharper with the DRL hooked up i bet. But it’s good to know I have options. Thanks again.
@Abe GT500 I got them yesterday. Lights are bright and they look cool. But lenses are made from cheap plastic.already with scuffs from cleaning with microfiber towel. Imagine going to carwash 🫣

It’s an LTZ, they come factory.

The fuse 15 only runs the DRL when the headlights turn on or when I turn the fogs on

The fog lights will still work without wiring the DRLs if you don’t want them.

I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado and I have done the same thing you did but it’s not working any ideas why it isn’t??
First, do you have power? Or what exactly isn’t working?
do you have to connect the drl line for them to work? or can you only use the adapter. i dont really care to have the drl feature
You can run them without connecting the DRL wire.
They looks cool. Are they adjustable?
Yes they are up and down but they seemed spot on out the box. Didn’t have to make any adjustments once installed.

@@ardcifliku really? Mine have held up fine and I’ve gone through multiple car washes.
@Abe GT500 yes I got some light scratches .I'm planing buffing and clear coating next spring.
like other i installed these in a 2017 ltz and they will not turn on. still have power to the plug i can plug in oem fogs and they will turn on.
You might want to make sure that your power and ground cables are connected correctly to the stock connector.
@@Abe_GT500 i checked and they were, but i did flip it so the negative was on the positive and it worked, looked liked the pinned it incorrectly.
@@thumperc25 I forgot but the exact thing happened with me.
So did you have a Y split from the fuse box to both the fog lights? If so how do you I do that lol
Yes, basically both wires, one from each fog light went into the wire from the fuse tap. I was able to crimp both wires easily.
I bought the same ones for my truck and they won't come on how did you hook them up for the harness
I have the same problem
Did you ever find out what it was ?
@@BryanCarrillo-qe9rn try switching the positive and ground cables around.
Where do I put the cable in the fuse box? The cover doesn't have a hole
I had to carve out a hole big enough for the cable to go through and still be water tight.
I did the same. Just gently notched the side with a razor knife.
Do they turn on when you unlock the truck?
They sure do.
Where did u get the headlights from?
They’re the factory LTZ headlights.
