I grew up in Ruskin 1977 to 1984 . I worked at Clarks hardware , and Cox lumber both gone . Also plants of Ruskin . Still there . I used to go to the drive in on a motorcycle Also was in Apollo beach in 1977 when it snowed in Florida .

Been in Ruskin majority of my life and u made it seem so perfect definitely not much of how it is travel time was bull crap . And it's not quiet there's crimes and murdered every month . Even in schools . I moved out of Ruskin few years back because I was scared to have my kids grow up in Ruskin . And yes I lived there majority my life and still alive but had 2 people murdered on next street over 9 others shot r.i.p magic and spider . Also not to mention all the crimes that happen daily and all the homeless people all around Ruskin.

Well for me you not telling the truth. I live near Lennard High School and I love Ruskin. Is a nice and peaceful place to live. I haven't seen no homeless people or high crimes as you saying. The location is excellent because as this lady is showing here you have everything near you and then came back to your peaceful loving place. Ruskin is growing we all know that but much more is Sun City, Wimauma and Apollo Beach. We've got everything here very near even go to Orlando and the same day come back after a joyful day. The rest in front of one of our cute places like EG Simmons Park. So for me you are wrong and disrespectful. Sorry.

I didn't recognize any of those pictures. Grew up there in the 80s Ruskin used to be the Tomato capital of the world what happened.

She should tell. That there are only food trucks selling tacos.. and make sure you bring a good vehicle because all the roads have plenty of Pot holes
And roads were made so stretch for the 50' vehicles..

Feel like this is an AI video. No ACTUAL footage. I live there.
Amazon was a net negative for Ruskin.
Development is out of control. No planning, roads are Detroit level bad (seriously drive around the new communities).
Sunset B&G is crap now and they charge for parking....via app, but there is no cell reception so MANY get tickets.
Prices of homes are WAY over priced. Especially since the VAST majority are Lennar homes. To see how bad those homes area, look at the slightly older homes around Amazon. Take note the broken stucco, moss/mold, etc.
Sorry....this video does NOT tell the REAL story. RUSKIN is to be avoided. I'll eventually post a REAL video about the area with REAL video (in process of getting drone imagery of the development, photos of the road conditions and more).

This is false advertising at it's best. maybe 2 of the pictures she showed was actually in Ruskin. What a joke!!!!!! Traffic is horrible multiple accidents everyday car insurance is very expensive along with home owner's insurance. There is a lot of violent crimes including murders. I am a Ruskin native my family has been here for 6 generations. There is nothing rural about ruskin anymore. there are no farms only sub divisions and more sub divisions. Very little access to the waterways due to private homes and sub divisions. I could go on and on. Yes it was once a nice little community until the over growth with no infrastructure to support it.

So, the best part of Ruskin is anything OUTSIDE of Ruskin?

I wouldn't say that. I would say it is this quiet, rural lifestyle. As well as affordability and convenient location. 😊

@@kirstenodonnell8447 No seriously, you glossed over so many things in Ruskin makes me wonder if you even live or been there. See my other post about just the START of the negatives. RUSKIN is to be avoided.
