True, but if you build movement based units you don’t feel as slow. Having stamina makes you try enjoy the scenery more. A full movement based team on genshin feels massively faster than Wuthering Waves.
Bro the fact that you need specific units in genshin just to experience free mobility makes it worst than wuwa wherein every character can do it for free. Genshin literally sells QoL thru their characters. Its just sad and hilarious at the same time.
Kuro games just released their new patch- stack full of updates players actually asked for. THEY ACTUALLY READ OUR SURVEYS. That feels so fucking UNREAL. It’s so sad in hindsight that it does. Thank you Kuro.
Yuuuuuuusss it's the fact that the read the surveys! Yaaaaaaasss it's just a legit joy fest because so far the game is headed for such a high praise and success. They cooking and I'm salivating!
Climbing in genshin is SO boring and irritating, and i despised it. I'm so glad we can just run up the walls and flip to save time because genshins exploration overall was one of the main things that made me quit a year ago.
@@GnidelAnd the thing is that Zelda has integrated it sensibly into the gameplay so that it is much more worthwhile to do the shrines and take full advantage of the mechanics. In Genshin you collect these symbols, but unlike Zelda it is limited to "jump/fly onto the collectible". In WuWa you can walk onto the walls and have more freedom to get the collectible with the dash/grappling hook and in WuWa you have to become a Pokemon trainer so that you can permanently increase your stamina, which brings more structure and depth to the exploration part in WuWa.
@@zealgaming8161 Zelda BotW has been one of the best video games of the last decade. Nintendo has simply shown that it is not open world games themselves that are bad, but rather the companies that simply follow every trend. Zelda has also shown that single player games still have a right to exist.
Die hard genshin fans who refuse to play wuwa just because it's a competition will never get the feeling of being heard of as a player and see the love of the devs for the game they created and how hard they try to communicate with their community.
I agree, game devs who value their players are absolute w. They even fixed minor bugs, and even sending free pulls as compensation (the players didn't asked for it but its cool)
@@silverwinter1597that's the main difference between two games. One dev listens when other doesn't. Cause the release of wuwa is really identical to genshin 1.0 but them listening and constantly trying to do improvements is setting them apart
@@silverwinter1597 they did listen, some of the problems with the beta was the sound of the sword hitting, people said to wuwa devs and they changed it to be better, it's so good
In Wuwa you can parkour for free. In Genshin I had to pull for like four 5 star characters to explore the world without being a shore. I have scaramouch, Yelan, Arlechinno, Xianyun. You need several 5* characters just to make exploration bearable. I cant even imagine how people played Sumeru's desert without someone like Yelan. Here, you dont need to pay to feel comfortable playing the game.
Genshin be like -let's make one of the QOL exclusive to one character that you must pull/pay to make traversal better -Next thing, wallrun, Double jump or air dash that only certain 5* limited characters can do
im a day 1 player too..whiteknighted the game so hard for 2 years.wasted thousands of dollars for it too then a meme hit me about employees and their employer "sir we need a raise for better morale" "no we do pizza party" it opened my eyes that mihoyo never care to begin with,i remember during first anniv that they said they cant give much reward cause they will be forced to give more during next anniv..and voila 4 fucking anniv with the same amount to the mats rewards. quits and never look back, and looking back how toxic i was
Day 6 player and I feel you. I also lasted for 2 years, literally quit on the same day of the year of when I started, few days after they pulled a jokeversary 2.0 electric boogaloo. I was always critical of the game because I feel I cared, probably too much. My enjoyment peaked with dragonspine, man I still remember the fun I had after 1.3, we got our first new area, new storyline, and also the free standard pulls from ascending characters. Got so many pulls I hit pity and got a new shiny Diluc. In hindsight that was the most generous mihoyo ever has been in the story of the game. Lots of players getting 30-40 pulls or more, and half of them hit standard pity with that. Also at the time we were at the beginning so most of us were sitting at lv 60-70 underbuilt talent lv 1 characters with WL4 that was the biggest difficulty spike for a beginner. Man if fighting was challenging and fun. I had a cryo lawachurl on the summit getting bugged and instantly recasting shield and slamming, took me half an hour of dodging, running around and spamming revives, to beat it with my lv 70 traveler and my lv 60 barbara, fischl, and diluc (with random purple crimson witch artifacts since I never farmed the domain before). After that my enjoyment remained stable until the 1.6 archipelago, where we got hit by the first big let down of them removing the map for bs reasons. I had high hopes for inazuma and the anniversary to raise me back up, and I got let down twice. Honestly I should've quit after the people protest failed and everyone stopped trying and gobbled the 1600 primogems and glider, but it seems like I love being abused by game companies. Most 2.x patches were empty trash and I suffered that, sumeru was terrible but at least I had new exploration and main quest right? Then second jokeversary came and I got myself to quit. I would also say Tower of Fantasy helped me too, so in a way it become the genshin killer lol. I still play ToF btw. Game has so many issues but I have fun, and the devs actually fix problems, implenent QoL, and most importantly, they listen to feedback! Genshin could never.
Tbh, not all hoyo probably, HSR players eating good as long as you can stand a lot of story yapping (granted the story is amazing, just a lot of yapping)
day 1 player, used to fight the Honkai Impact players because how they say bad about Genshin, now I quit after playing WuWa Even Furina C5 with sig doesn't make me stay Genshin
@@DrBagel. HSR needs to because they have competition plus the game isnt open world, if were like genshin, hardly doubt it could be generous to players
@@Gazer-x5s Well as a former Honkai Impact player (jumped on PGR), my first impression of Genshin in Day 1, "what a freaking chore is this game, the combat compared to honkai is braindead uninteresting" and given i already tasted Mihoyo gacha i eventually uninstall the game after finishing Venti quest, for us honkai impact players we were expecting Genshin Imapact to be pretty much like WuWa fast pace open world ARPG, but what we got is a very slow paced game from traversing to combat.
I had someone defending Genshin so hard the other day about the traversal and stamina system. The guy had Yelan, wanderer and sayu equipped, like please put yourself in my shoes as someone who only has Sayu. It’s pain and playing Sayu in the overworld other than the traversal is pain and a waste of slot.
Yeah, the fact that it's fairly easy to travel with all wuwa characters, even the smaller characters. Genshin was always a pain to travel in as someone who loves exploring and genuine drained it out of me, till wuwa obviously
Thanks for the reaction, Queen. I really enjoyed listening to your response (I LOL'd at 18:58 and I HEAR YOU). I've been blown away by the response to that video. You make some great points as well and I'm looking into the mic that you mentioned. I think a new one will be coming soon 🎙 Yeah you're on point, it's definitely a pretty crazy ask to revise the elemental reaction system and how things currently are. "Overhaul" is probably not the most appropriate wording here. I should have been more nuanced with this point. My thinking is more so to expand how they work and introduce more complexity without taking away things people already like. I've seen people speak conceptually about new reactions like with Geo and Pyro (Magma?), and I feel like this sort of thing should have happened over time and Dendro is really all we've had in this regard. So e.g. - Add new reactions to existing elements, and things of that nature. Again, we all know Geo in particular could *massively* benefit from this and they absolutely have the ability and resources to do these sorts of things. I should have articulated this point better but yeah as you say, making sweeping changes relating to changing how existing reactions work would be a massive ask, and very risky at that. I feel like evolution to the systems should have happened incrementally over time, basically. Old reactions have been allowed to remain on their own since inception (outside of Dendro) and to me have very much become stagnant. Just adding this as well - I made a second video talking about this, but many people are correct (including you 27:23) in rebutting my request for using unlevellved echoes to level other echoes. This is probably the main point in the video on which I needed to clarify things further - There needs to be gating in place for this 100%. My ideas are that gold echoes shouldn't yield more than lower tier tubes, but also, perhaps a daily limit on how many you can actually use this way (15?). I think it would add to the experience, make farming feel more meaningful, and give you more to do in a day, without being too unrestricted to the point where people endlessly farm and run out of things to do. Overall, I do think they need to address the tube "economy" but I know they've acknowledged people's concerns with this, so we'll see what they do! I'll leave y'all with this for now, and another point of criticism to bring up, as more are coming to mind post this original rant - Certain QoL changes are locked behind character kits. Chiori allows switching character mid-air as part of her kit 🙃 - I feel like you can make these characters special in ways that don't feel like a slap in the face for a feature that should have already been there years ago as a core mechanic... (WuWa also allows mid-air switching). Peace be with you!
I was one of those people who installed Genshin like 5 times but always ended up uninstalling after a few hours because the gameplay just wasnt it, even waaay before WuWa was a thing. I don't play any Gacha games but I thoroughly enjoyed games like BotW/TotK, Elden Ring, NieR: Automata and Xenoblade and Wuthering Waves feels like a mix of all of those games. It's everything I could have ever asked for - and it's a free game on top of that. WuWa is despite all of its flaws (mainly the abysmal EN dub and its mostly mediocre writing), insanely addictive and has so much potential and I can't wait to see what this game is gonna look like in 1 or 2 years if 1.0 is already so much fun.
5 times? Lol I downloaded genshin like 20 times since release the longest I played is like a month long and always quitting because of the one issue artifacts grind and no content to use your Build for.
English dub always sucks, if I couldnt change the language in Genshin I wouldnt have played it for more than 3 hours. Paimon voice was horrible. Just use the chinese or japanese dub because it is always way better.
@@raymondcampusano2991 that's why I always play JP, sometimes the jp may give u the impression it doesn't fit the character but it grows in you pretty fast. EN otherwise is always a hit or miss, in HSR is mostly a hit but in genshin is mostly a miss before Sumeru (and some NPC's)
ofc it will feel like all of those games. Kuro's previous game is literally just Devil Nier: Revengeance but with more anime androids, We'll be eating good with WUWA.
I got the same feeling but it was after playing HSR. I stopped playing genshin 1 week into HSR. - The daily quests - No stamina bar - Auto pickup loot - Way less grindy to level up characters and weapons. - 4* and even 5* lightcones easily obtainable. And more QoL. Going through all that and returning to Genshin felt horrible. Especially because I was asking for many of those changes in Genshin and the community of shteaters shut those down instantly and makes excuses on behalf of hoyo
Holy cow the dailies. I am tired of delivering food to some random villager. On HSR you can work on building your characters and progress the dailies. Having to murder the same 3 tribes of hilichurls with 0 benefit for your characters/equipment progress just feels bad.
@@mrstalfos7489 Agreed 100%. In HSR you just have to farm exp/relics and dailies complete. In Genshin I always dread the dailies, teleporting to different location and having to talk to NPC that you can't skip by the way.
I have high hope that WuWa will gonna have echo loadouts on the future patch...since PGR have one..u can put custom name on it and slap on any character u want
*Sluggish* is the perfect way to describe Genshin rn. Endless paragraphs of dialogue just for quick mini-game events, having to go to the Adventurer's guild to collect daily rewards and expeditions, slowly climbing and running out of stamina after 5 seconds of sprinting, having to wait days to farm specific books or weapon materials It's just so slow and the devs just don't care about these things for some reason
I am not day one player but play before inazuma release. At first, i felt excited to play, especially when a new patch came, but when after a few patches, i think when shenhe was introduced for the first time, then i burned out, after 5 months i return when sumeru release and only the worse quest which is aranara quest that took 1 whole week to finish it. And burned out for a second time until 3.7 before fontaine. I play until 1 week before Wuwa release. Now i realise that it felt so empty to me in genshin after play wuwa like combat and exploration. I am glad that I was able to play wuwa and become a day 1player.
I play when first time it came out, and not my game, then my friend recomended it, try it after vesion 4 with buyout 2nd hand ID (20$ for 3 x 5 star pick what I want). Can't stand the combat because how slow and easy that stuff is, and the most annoying thing as new player is the slog of adventurer level to progress in the story. I just like... "I'm tired boss" quit the game not even reaching adventurer 30. If your game can't improve after 2 years, best just leave that game, unless they got "FF reborn" campaign.
I played at the Furina banner, then quit after getting burned out collecting chest just to scrape pulls for Furina. I got her, but my enjoyment never increased. Stopped logging in and after a month of not logging in, I unistalled for Phone space.
Day one player too i just had to quit when sumeru trailer just dropped i don't even care about it at that point i don't have the hype for it anymore i got too burned out playing it
@@amiruliman1648 sumeru took off the hype to me as well... I didn't care about the game afterwards. I was expecting the story to be a bit deep like Star Rail or Impact 3rd. sadly, nahida's story is not that deep as I have hoped it to be. let alone Furina's mickey mouse story.
Same as me, day 1 player, I finished Genshin already, I don't have anything left to do with the resin nor I do want more characters, I have everything I can understand him, after a game it's finished, that's it And the story was so stagnant that I already lost the interest, so yup, I feel what he says
That thing about the Npc's in genshin is so true! Even when an NPC does return like the girl from the sumeru fungus pokemon event, she went from a tanned eremite model to a Fontaine noble model and people are so brain rot ridden they didn't notice hoyoverse couldn't even bother to giver her a unique model.

I'm back. I haven't recovered from this video yet. The one thing you said which I think lit up all of my pent-up aggression towards genshin was when you mentioned that "Every Genshin hater once loved the game." I kinda think now that every WuWa hater also secretly hates genshin, but is under a sunken cost fallacy. And this made me feel so validated after trying to talk to friends for so long xD And naturally, all of my friends own Festering Desire, so yeah - god I needed to let that out.
The funny thing is as a day 1 Genshin player, I realized how bad the game's state was when I logged in and enjoyed the new story content, but then had nothing else to do once I triple crowned my Furina. I literally ran out of content without story to play and because I built the character I wanted to build. I haven't played Genshin since February because of this~~~
Will make you even sadder to discover the game always has been like that, and always will be. You were just too busy to realize it. Now you are done and you realized the truth, that there is nothing to do.
Last month i stopped and i never felt free from daily task lol its so mind numbing I played since release and only missed 3 days of login. I really felt the urge to quit from hsr i played it and it feels so much better, i only stuck to genshin since i really love their artstyle, characters and bgms hope wuwa will top this too
Genshin Impact has a special place in my heart. Played it since released. I love the lore, the world, characters, everything. But I'm probably not going back anytime soon. I just feel like, it lost the spark.
My friend who used to play Genshin is a major stan. I basically told him how i wasn't sure I'd play again after experiencing WuWa. Bro spent over 2,00$ maxing out the exploration characters. You know, Wanderer, Yelan, Xianyun and literally sat me down to devise a plan on how tp climb infinitely with the anemo boys. I opened up WuWa on my phone and showed him the movement and combat. Now he has over 40 gigabytes of space on his pc so he can download his PDFs and assignments without using my pendrive
I’ve played Genshin since day 1 and stopped playing the game when Enkonomiya was finished. What got me to stop playing was how the developers tend to slap their players in the face. One example is the anniversary stuff. Then their Q&A developer notes was always filled with random question that nobody really ask about nor care. This recent Resin cap increase still feels like what they always do to their players; a slap to the face. An extra 40 stamina? What’s that going to do? Absolutely nothing.
They made up their own question to make it as if they were listening, them huring bots during Anniv drama to counter the rating just made me think that every people who defend this game are paid.
As much as I want to laugh, I can't. I actually feel bad for the guy cuz I know how it feels to quit a game and losing hope to the devs (F**k you, Avabel).
@@botcchidotcchi To put it very short, The progression ceiling keeps increasing, Game mechanics got changed alot, Greed is something else, and Devs doesnt care about the game anymore.
I used to always buy monthly bp and monthly gems for genshin till i think about 2 years ago, they admitted they were not going to add end game content. Right now my main game is hsr and wuwa. Monthly bp and jades for wuwa only.
There's a pretty crappy locked of getting certain top ups. The purchase of daily primogems for logging in was locked to console for me. I started playing on PC because of the modding community. There's sooo many skins you can get for free (if you don't mind a bit of lag)
I play genshin mainly for exploration and the story has always been a nice cherry on top. My baseline for genshin has always been breath of the wild which I thought was mid personally. It has always been better than botw and hasn't fallen below that standard for me yet so I still like it. Waiting on wuwa to fix it's problems before i get into it but once it does we'll see.
I would disagree in changing characters. They could buff the older characters in Genshin. I come from PGR and all the Gen 1 characters were power creeped hardcore by the Gen 2 characters. Close to a year after the community complained they went ahead and buffed all the Gen 1 characters with also some new movesets to be somewhat close to power but of course not on Par with Gen 2. It made Gen 1 viable again to do the newer content so your investment feels like it wasent a waste. Gacha games can buff and change their characters if they want to since Kuro proves that point a lot.
what I wanted to say on stream, I recently played Cyno's 2nd story quest just to see the story, then later that day Jiyan's story quest and DAMN the difference is insane Jiyan's quest actually made me wanna play through a character quest again, not aching for it to finally be over for once the quality in animations is so much better in wuwa, while genshin charas are just doing this 🧍 the whole time they really made Jiyan's story seem more impactful too genshin's chara quests take soo long to pick up in pace, before that you're literally doing the most boring, unimportant sht the writing in this Cyno story kinda felt like a middle schooler's fanfic tbh lmao
Same, played thru Chasm main quest and there’s so many moments with the beautiful objects around they could’ve used to show not tell, to create emotion- but instead you just get a character telling you what’s happening verbatim like this 🧍
I would prefer it to be reduced to 40 instead, I like fighting in this game so more the better, also gives you two more runs to split between different sets
an Argument that Genshin players tend to make is that Genshin is a different game than WuWa; Genshin is more focused on Exploration and WuWa is more focused on Combat. Now at hindsight, this makes sense; until you factor in all of the Exploration QoL that WuWa implements. Wall Sprinting and Fantasy Parkour is one, we also got Inferno Rider and Heron as a pseudo-mount, and if those weren't enough, wait until you master the Super Jump Tech. Putting all of those into the equation, it is absurd that Genshin, an exploration focused game, makes the exploration such a chore. A friend of mine have quit Genshin but he suffered from PGSD (Post Genshin Stress Disorder) and he was baffled on why I enjoy WuWa's exploration a lot. All of those QoL really does help my enjoyment.
I stopped playing genshin last month after playing it from launch i always buy monthly there, i love the characters the scenery the bgms and main story but the devs didnt seems to care. Iam having a blast on wuwa and i hope it doesnt flop in a long run i would spend here instead. I feel the qol and the rewards really feels like they listened hope they will always do this.
"Why don't you have festering desire?" Day 1 player here, I have that and even I found that crap annoying af... I empathized with my friends who were bitter cuz they didn't have that weapon... it's a slap on the face... at least make those weapons available to obtain even tho it's hard... at least players can have a way to obtain it and not go with the FOMO bs...
They could just do like with the music drum and the balloons and have them available at a specific vendor but make them super expensive. Or even just give the blacksmiths an extra option like "I want to see your 'special' items." Make them cost several million mora or use certain mats like in Fontaine and there it is. Upgrade mats can go to the regional souvenir shop (the one with the gem over their heads). I'll give... the tail end of Snezhnaya before we get that option. What do you think?
@@SageRuffin for something that's supposed to be free for everyone since it's an event weapon... it's pretty doable to them since they have nothing to lose...
Ive got 2 stories 1 before wuwa and 1 after wuwa released. 1. Got back on genshin to see whats going on seen that they added a new node and i was like "wow another statue" to be pulled into a 5 or 10min long voiceless cutscene about some cat that i didnt care about which later made me alt+f4 after the word dump ended. 2. Got on recently to see the ultra "hard" abyss to not be surprised and got off. genshin is genshin and it will be till either hoyo run out of money or the story end so they can have a excuse to start improving
I already stopped playing after I finished everything at Inazuma during 1st anniversary. I even streamed my footage of uninstalling the game in front of my friends to show I'd be a clown if I install it again (unless new director stepped in and fix the game, ofc). The fact that people still hold on to their hope when I saw that coming is ... something.
I started playing Genshin in 2022, 2.8 specifically. I think the Chronicled Wish was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me, I was pissed when that was announced for 4.5. It is essentially a banner for a lot of older characters and some limited weapons, just in the worst way possible in my opinion. I was pissed cause a big problem I have with Genshin is doing a lot for so little reward, and putting another banner with a 50/50 for 80 pulls just broke me. I wanted Klee so bad and I couldn’t get her, I couldn’t take that chance. So now I’m playing until I can get Furina (and build her, already prefarmed). That’s the last character I want that I can get, and then I’m done. In comparison Wuthering Waves feels like a lot less pressure, probably something to do with it being a new game, and the other part is it’s far less stressful to wish & play the game so far.
Same with furina, and people will have a counter argument with your point like: it is a free game, they dont need to give you reward( they are genshin shill and they dont undrstand the point of gacha game) but i agree with you
@@Phuc11611 Sure they don't but it's a good gesture for keeping the audience enganged and willing to oversee your flaws. For example, Wuwa right now has a lot of flaws, but due to the rewards as apologies and the fact that they actively listened, they're held in higher regard and build a more loyal community less likely to burnout. Same with HSR. It just feels good to get something back from a game that still wants your money and time. Makes you feel cared about. It's like a job. Your boss isn't obligated to make you a cake for a job well done, but you're more likely to work harder after being given a cake for a job well done.

I quit Genshin before Wuwa came out, I installed again to play with a friend and the moment I logged back in and saw all the stuff I needed to do, remembering the ass farming system I had to uninstall again. Wuwa pretty much saved me ngl. It made me have actual fun.
just found this video whilst scrolling and i related so much. i myself just uninstalled my genshin 3 days ago. everything felt like a chore in genshin. i feel sleepy whenever i open the game. and the one that really cut the string for me is that they don't care about POC inclusivity in their upcoming region (Natlan) despite the mass criticism.
eversince i started playing wuwa..it became so hard to let go the grapple,parkour/sprint and story/cutscene skip feature..i literally went back to genshin after insanely grinding in wuwa for 6 days to grind primos for alhaitam banner but it feels so uncomfortable playing idk maybe my brain got so used to the wuwa mechanics..
Watching this after the announcement + leaks for what patch 1.1 will add makes it so much more agreeable. WuWa fixing the issues with previous rarity tuners by allowing us to synthesize it to the premium 5 star ones, better echo rewards from dailies (1 cost -> 3 cost), more daily missions so you can finish dailies even faster to respect our time, etc etc.
Been playing since like 2 or 3 days after release and I still play to this day, BUT I only play for dailies, events, any new area to 100% while I wait for the next archon quest. I'm invested in the story, that's what's keeping me at this point since I already built my characters. THAT SAID, what this man said in the vid is all true and I feel his pain.
I'm from Indonesia, before I didn't think that wuwa would really damage genshin because they have a huge player base and community, but seeing this quit wave of genshin player, i think genshin killer is Real on wuwa.
Nah. The real Genshin Killer is Genshin itself. It just got worse when they found REAL competition. TOF tried, but it was at core, a multiplayer game with adventure as add-ons. WuWa is just what people was asking from Genshin - a hassle-free Open-world with Dynamic and Exciting gameplay. We might not be able to reach millions of damage as regular players, but we can feel the adrenaline it gives upon getting good on the game.
@@zoe4965 Well, we can only see by the end of month. I'm not hoping much since Clorinde is so underwhelming. I had her and most she could do is a hyperbloom/quicken/spread activator in C0. Sigewinne is also the least anticipated character same as Emilie and will likely remain as-is until 4.0 release unlike Jinhsi, Chanli, and the present Banner Yinlin, which are good units. Cope harder bro. In a sense, Genshin devs are so up in their thrones thinking throwing niche characters would be enough and people will remain loyal to them. They wont. They just won't except for brainwashed people who spent tons of money already in the game and the poor people who can't afford a good device to play WuWa
I started Genshin the week it released and I remember vividly how I thought it was everything I wanted in a game. But it didn't take long for me to realize it really wasn't what I wanted, that I had huge expectations for the game but they'd never be met.
Just a comment that may sound out of topic.. Whoever play HSR or ZZZ or any mihoyo games.. you know hoyo doesn't give a shit that you quit Genshin right? You're still playing their games and giving money to the same people.. quitting ONE of their games changes zero to them. Its like if i have 2 restaurant and people stop going to one and come to the other.. "wow big changes there"
I don't often comment on videos, despite having things to talk about. Wuthering Waves is honestly soooo much better than Genshin Impact, the amount of effort put into Wuwa was ridiculous the first time I opened it. The game is beautiful, the story is dark and meaningful, the lips match the English language, which is huge for me, the limitless running. I'm still going to play Genshin because I'm bored, but I'm mainly playing Wuwa throughout the day enjoying the atmosphere.
5:21 The traversal system and combat of Tower of Fantasy made me abandon my two Genshin accounts XD But during that time I know the existence of Wuthering Waves being developed
Imagine treating game as a job and then burning out like a match, westerners are compleyely insane when it comes to gacha games, too many normies got into the medium during the pandemic as well... And then they jump from one needle on another one which is just a worse version of the first one and delude themselves into believing that they are saved, lol...
There's a mod for that. I was scrolling game banana for HSR skin mods and saw WuWa mods. Modding WuWa bugs the coloring of characters based on distance.
If the level limit on Echoes remains the same, and RNG still determines the substats, and it still takes time to farm Echoes, and people still can't manipulate space-time like the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, would it REEEEEEALLY be broken to enable infinite Echo EXP farming? I mean, it's not like the game's main product is Echo Exp.
ive played genshin for a hot minute and the thing that really killed it for me was everything feels like a slog the cutscenes are super long, the resin system makes things feel like itll take a decade to actually get good artifacts then traversal is super slow it took me to get scaramouche to actually find enjoyment in the game but ive uninstalled started playing wuthering waves and love the game cause i feel like it not only respects my time but also gives me a chance to get into the game if you dont get a 5 star or some decent character in genshin have fun playing the f2p nightmare squad whereas in WuWa you just get to choose a 5 star and at 45 it lets you choose a weapon youre at least getting what you want and have the means to make it strong. echoes are also sick thanks for letting me grind WuWa lol
27:25 You can though... and what you say next will basically windup being the exact same as what he said, just an item that you get from the conversion, which is another step instead of directly putting the echoes into the echoes you want to level. I just think that the echo exp you receive from dumping echoes into the one you level should be minimized to compensate the fact you can farm them infinitely, but make it a none time gated grind that still takes a while I'd say.
I agree. Players should be rewarded for putting in the time - it's as simple as that. Additionally, it's not like echo farming is free - IT TAKES TIME. Just in 1.0, it takes about 2 hours to fully clear the map of any worthwhile spots with 3 cost echos. I think if a 3 cost echo gave an equivalent of 1 purple echo experience tube whereas 4 and 1 cost echos gave an equivalent of 1 blue echo experience tube, it would be completely fine. Mind you, instead of being experience gated, we would become Tuner gated. Another smaller side effect of using unleveled echos as experience would be not being able to potentially get something good from using them as fodder for fusion. We shall see what the "buffs" are, in 1.1.
31:00 now genshin has long-term encounter point, just converting your resin to condensed resin will grant you daily reward. no need to do 4 daily quests
I'm actually the opposite lol. Personally, wuwa just didn't do it for me. Combat is fun, but I still really like genshins elemental reaction system. Also, I feel like wuwa's story didn't really make me care too much about the world and characters (except camellya, I'm getting her for sure)
And further more, characters in GI have lore showing much more than Wuwa, like, jumping mountains, and shaping lands, even a character like Bennett has a cinematic that showed him jumping 15 ft in the air, destroying a truckload of ice While in Wuwa, their power in lore are much less But could you guess which one stay true to their lore?
Echo farming can be use to as reroll sub stats. Only same type of echo can be used. It would reduce tuning and echo exp wastage while having a gatcha theme of reroll. Reroll could be good or bad. So its not a straight forward as we want it to be. Using bad artifact that has already been level up to reroll for good stats. Having some good stats would reroll having bad stats. So yeah, it would be a fun gatcha feeling to see what they reroll into. Content for more f2p creators. Second is the echo can be use as a ride. Instead of transforming. They would have multiple usage other than being use as decoration. They can help farm materials or be use as vehicle.
im glad i didnt return after not having a 5star for a month or 2weeks after it first launch. it was a terrible experience + after i comeback just to see how the game is (during Miko first banner) i get my Returning Gift and it was 2000 mora, few exp for character, 30 primos?, and mostly more & exp thingy. im putting my money where it is and that is WuWa, BA, and HSR.
Wait really? 😂. Why did they even bother. I just got my returner reward in HSR, and it gives about 700 jades for 7 days of log in. I swear Genshin players are labrats to Hoyo. This is an experiment I swear.
@@letsrank9349i just updated my HSR right now and im promised 300 Jade after update. i dont play Genshin but i have to ask how much do you get every updates in Genshin?
23:00 Kuro Games' other game Punishing: Gray Raven has loadouts system. So they can bring that in WuWa. You guys just have to put that in the feedback section.
I'm going to be honest. I played wuwa and it's definetly cool. It just ain't no genshin. I like the lighter designs of genshin more personally. I just don't like how they tried to negatively impact wuwa's release. My favorite games are still genshin and star rail. I really love the story and the art of both games.
i came to genshin after playing FGO and Onmyoji, first i like the concept of open world, feel a little bit hopefully for it, and then it's kinda fine but it still has some things to fix, then after 3.5 years, they fix nothings so i quit -Worst stories ever, they use archon and 5 star characters quest to hype the characters they want to promote and not care about the previous story line, make them look unconnected, cringe, and sometimes dump (like how the sage of sumeru get trick by alhaitham plan while they are kidnap a archon and plan to make a god? how focalor plans to destroy the throne of hyrdro and hope neuvillette will save fontainian-the creatures that make by his lost powers, by the previous hyrdo archon who missuse that power to create fontainian). While world quests are on the next level, have deep stories and messages about the teyvat world, where you really explored the open world with many stories to develop. -Terrible stories leading, ton of npc talking nonsense, things not related to the stories, making the stories part became exhausted -Poorly experiences improvals, it took them 3 year to make the daily explore tasks have "do again" button to have stimulate artifact, 3,5 year for more 40 resin limit. While genshin is a late 2020 released game. Almost four years and they havent make "artifacts sets" yet? common, the deadgame i play since 2016 have those things right after 1year -The character design is mid or low in some cases, boring male with skeleton model (except lately wriothesley) adult female with tight or those see through fabrics, and cut the clothes to show more skin which not necessary making the design look cheap af. -Cut scenes and gacha animation is worst, seen many gacha games but no game have poor gacha animation like genshin, like when you get 5star character, a splash art pop up and done, seriously? i play from day1 and after 3 years they havent update anything about that? -lack of content when reach endgame state, no matter how little you play, after 3,5 years like me there nothing left to play -Gameplay is ... yeah like spam EQ or add some clicks then the monsters lay down and dead. -How they treat their players: they rather hide behind the media, making drama for the community to argue than making real game content, put most effort on marketing > social media content such as leaks, characters shipdom, sad-cringe back stories for mindless characters....> enhance the story, less npc yapping in quest, new daily quest -Yeah and the newest opera house mode: they cut the abyss reset form 2 to 1 a month then add the new opera house mode. They afraid that players will have TOO MUCH gems but when they did that, newbies and midbies who dont have many character and build them at leat level 70 will lost 200-400 gems compared to the old one, i dont know what to said, like common you really scared that players will have 600 more gems for a month? they new single abyss do really give more than 220 gems than old single abyss but they have double abyss which gave 1200 a month which is really need for midbie, the new oprea mode requires 12 characters for 3 specific elements every month, im old bie so that ok, but others? no, they barely pass 12 abyss and they lose half to new mode for oldbie :)))) 6/8 friend of mine cant pass the new mode because they barely have enough characters for 2 teams in abyss.
Playing the game since day 1. Always bought blessing every month. Then, that "here...free 3 pull for your 3 years of support" accident make me realize how this dev never really appreciate the player. Idc if they didn't give us free primo for the aniv, or free 5 star char. But the audacity to think that our 3 years of support Just as valuable as 3 junk is really hurt me. It's even better if they just keep quiet and don't give anything away than to insult me with 3if.
On the teapot, I would really like one in WuWa, except make it a room that you can decorate, or a single small island. Because the load limit in Genshin was ATROCIOUS and prevented you from really filling an island and making it LOOK GOOD. Instead in order to make a detailed "build" it has to be confined to a small bubble with outside being absolutely barren. So things would look good on the inside, but if you got out of it and looked at it it'd look horrible, just a mess of buildings and trees smashed together with the surroundings completely empty. I think a small island or room would be fantastic. I was a teapot main lol, I used to enjoy that shit. I would have itto on the team and any tree I ran past while exploring I would just smack it for wood.
14:00 Okay but why? Why would it be bad to have max level Echos across the board after spending every waking hour in the game? We already have many, maaaany time and money sinks in the game. Echo Xp is the reason I only play the game for 10-20 minutes a day instead of 2-3 hours. This is coming from someone who exhausted EVERYTHING on the map that I can without spending or getting significantly stronger. I can tell you aren't at that point yet because you think Tasset fields aren't also for Echo XP but only for Tuners. You will run out of Echo XP much quicker if you roll even remotely careful. 4 runs of Tasset Field per day just isn't enough. The new Area won't fix this issue for long either. I think immediately going brickwall stance against "unlimited echo XP" is a bit toxic for the game's state currently. It's literally only monetarily motivated to have that capped. Characters are going to come out, new sets will come out, there is plenty enough reason to grind more echoes, way sooner than they can ever manage to fix the Echo xp drought issue. So I have to ask again, respectfully, because you may have some insight on this that I lack. Why would it be a problem to grind "unlimited" (Basically limited to the couple of Echoes you can catch in a day and how many friends you have that are willing to do the same, they aren't all that many, trust me) Echo XP?
Man... Festering Desire... A weapon name held true. I feel sorry for anyone who is playing GI that doesn't have this weapon. Such a solid weapon. Glad WuWa is so much better in almost all aspects!
I think letting you use unleved echo as exp can be ok. since you need tunner to unlock sub stats anyway, so since you can farm echo infinely, you cant farm tunner infinetly
Tbh a lot of people are not playing genshin impact because its not fun anymore but im quitting the game because of how much space it need like bro i cant play the game on my pc &ps4 &phone cuz of how much gb it is and slowly it feels like genshin might be a dead game now bc its not that fun anymore & bc of how much space it needs and its rlly sad to believe the truth about genshin impact but i just hope that they will make the game better and more fun and more story quests that are fun and most importantly not that space needed i hope they will do that one day and im not gonna delete my fav game cuz i have hope in it😊
What GI players aren’t understanding is criticism and financial pressure (literally skip paying them for 2-3 months they WILL panic) will force competition and innovation. Monopolies and arrogance in companies hurt consumers. Comparing it or highlighting their lack of player consideration doesn’t hurt GI playerbase but rather puts Hoyoverse on notice and more likely than not makes YOUR EXPERIENCE better. Shilling for corporate greed doesn’t help you…
Despite the skip button. I keep listening to the dialogue. It feels like I'm tapping out, instead of being held against my will. Though for repeat dialogue it is a lifesaver.
played it since release, got my 1st, 2nd birthday cake from the mail. the third i didnt bcs i was unable to login that exact day. cause you know, i am busy. that was the reason i quit. nothing else, that is. i 100% explored every region there is that time, got almost all characters except Eula, 12 stars abyss every cycle. Just that cake is the reason. Never came back. Only HSR now cause well, its less time consuming and i can go for days without worrying abt the resin cap wasting away.
14:00 Completely clueless. Elemental reactions are beeing nerfed all the time. Mobs have resistances. Mobs that have been released lately have enormous resistance to everything except Geo, Overload and Physical DMG. Just coz a dude played the game for 4 years straight and propably has relics that are insane enough to brute force with any elements doesn't mean Vaporize or Hyperbloom is the only right choice, everything else is useles and will perform worse in every scenario. And nerfs do exist, but those are indirect. When enemies gets 70% resist to bloom-like reaction DMG then it is indirect nerf to bloom characters. You want to talk about Genshin talk to your Twitch colleague Sekapoko. There is no bigger Genshin nerd on the platform. He would roast this dude like a pig with apple in mouth. Only reason people brute force with their one favourite elemental reaction is coz they have no will to farm relics for different characters. Relic farming and lvling in Hoyoverse is the most terrible aspect of the game. And I believe WuWa echoes, despite beeing vastly criticized, will be less painfull. Collecting decent set in WuWa feels way more achievable. The more echoes we build the less urge we will feel to waste echo exp on echo with substat that we instantly know a final result of and we are not satisfied with.
1 in chat - I played since launch, and Wuthering Waves does everything that I liked about it and wanted genshin to be. I really didnt follow WuWa leading up to launch, I just thought it would feel like a Tower of Fantasy situation. But it completely won me over. Xiao was my first main in Genshin, I saved for him from 1.0 til his release which was WAY too long to wait at the time. But even then his kit had glaring flaws that took years to address with teammates. Jiyan was like a dream 1.0 character for me. Wind, Dragoon playstyle. and much more fluid feeling, with a fully functional team out the gate. I havent even caught up on archon quests in genshin, I just cant be bothered. I did recently get C6 Wanderer after saving for like 1.5 years. So I pretty much just get on for abyss and dailies now. I cant do the story and exploration though. gameplay is so much better in WuWa.
i watched this whole video and I barely even play genshin impact. maybe played for a couple days upon first release but never really liked the game in general. But wutheringwaves on the otherhand is actually enjoyable. just the traversering terrain alone is way better than genshin impact.
you can use anyone as the on-field character in genshin as long as you have Xingqiu and Kuki (4 stars) Not all of them will do DPS damage but it'll work and you can use their attack animations
@vanqwesh3408 bruh, i played a game whenever i like to play, and i dont defend any shit in my comment. i know some people are still playing fgo when there's a lot of good turn based games nowadays, and i don't see they got shamed for playing that. let people quit and play whenever and whatever they want..and i love playing wuwa my union level is almost 45
That's because to many, it is. For all intents and purposes, the lack of religion in the Western regions of the World are showing that people still look for guidance to form their personality and daily life. A lot drifted towards ideologies, others to gaming.
I played Genshin since about launch I believe. I finally decided to delete Genshin for two reasons. The first was simple. Lack of device storage. The second was because I was bored with it. I tried playing the 4.7 weapon event and Clorindes story quest, and I was fighting the urge to not fall asleep. Wuwa forever! At least it doesn’t take that much space! And Star Rail is still good too.
My grips for WuWa is the optimization especially for Mobile since here in Asia if you cant run a game on mobile you kinda killed your main source of players sure you can fill it in with PC but realistically you broke the golden rule in Asia if its not easy to run on a phone/Wood pc or F2P since the spending habits here is a goldmine for developers. P.S This is going to be a reactionary kind of war on what they gonna add to the game moving forward.
17:50 He's not claiming that they are trying to compete. He's making the same point as your comment. They are keeping these improvements in their pockets in order to roll out a minimal satisfaction to keep them engaged, when something threatens to distract them, as opposed to releasing regular improvement to vie for consumer. Been saying this "since launch" (and still playing because I like collecting), Genshin is built around the absolute worst gambling psychology (People, including every content creator, really didn't/don't understand "excessive anxiety"
Originally a HI3 player here since 2017, I played genshin in 6 months and deleted it i was on AR35 i stacked the levels but yeah i didn't enjoy it i feel suffering and losing so much time playing genshin than wuthering Waves. Now I'm playing HSR and WuWa it's such a good combination of a game for me to play everyday. I fully support WuWa it's such a great game.
Its funny because I started playing genshin 5 months after launch, then quit playing after 1 year. And back then I had the exact same reasons and complaints, like asking for relic loadouts every single survey, having issues with the geo element but nothing we asked for ever happens. And here we are 4 years later and it seems nothing has changed.
15:06 I think its funny that he said thay because I remember having kind of paassive acknowledgement, with one of ny friend, that they give beautiful animations to part of the character's kit you wouldn't normally use. Ex : raiden's charged attack or ayato normal attacks.
I myself quit Genshin. My reason is because the Abyss and this the second time I got the 2 useless hp donuts instead of wanderers weapon!! 😤 I’ll probably be back to play it in another week or so😂
It wasn't the first time I got a Genshin burnout. First was at the beginning of Sumeru and Wanderer really brought me back. Then I played and played, and that monster called version 4.3 started everything again. I now open Genshin to clear events on last day because I want to get Columbina, and see her in the plot. I returned to Hollow Knight a month ago, and even before that, opening Genshin seemed like a nightmare. I don't know how will I survive Natlan and Snezhnaya.
I was there when it launched the game look great it was my first gacha game. After half year i was like the game is same there nothing to do and it lately made me physically ill, i was like nope i am out delete game move on. Now i am just happy that i made right choice.
It feels like I'm listening to a voice memo :) As a day 1 player, I personally relate to his takes and I agree to most of it. From manually picking up artifact loots to not running back again when starting domain challenges, they did come far but took them more than 2 years and still barely had any noteworthy updates. Their artifact loadouts feels like playing darts. You know they can easily hit the bulleyes but for some reason it feels like they are missing the target on purpose. I quit Genshin around the 2nd reset of Spiral Abyss during Xianyun's first release. When I logged in that day I thought of doing the Spiral Abyss first then dailies and then it hit me. With an empty mind I immediately logged off the game and uninstalled it without even considering how much I had already invested in the game (time and money). They will never listen to their players and after years of hoping, I finally came to accept that.
I quit 2 years ago. The exploration become unbearable, finding wood chest just to level up some tree with nothing on it. Farming Reputaion for just wing skin, running errand for Katherine here and there was exhausting. Building character got delayed again and again cause freetime schedule didn't align with the domain. Hyping myselft for new character only to get Qiqi'ed was peak. So i quit and just watch the story from cc, but it lack any impact so i stop. I come back for a couple of days when Navia released just trying to get her, opening all those portal, scavenged every primo available, swam around to find her mat, exp leyline, boss mat, tallent book and unending relic domain really drown all my interest/Hope for her and GI.

True, but if you build movement based units you don’t feel as slow. Having stamina makes you try enjoy the scenery more. A full movement based team on genshin feels massively faster than Wuthering Waves.

Climbing in genshin is SO boring and irritating, and i despised it. I'm so glad we can just run up the walls and flip to save time because genshins exploration overall was one of the main things that made me quit a year ago.
Everytime I have to slowly crawl up wall and not jump because I wouldn't have enough stamina I scream "damn you Zelda" internally, but very loudly.
@@Gnidellmao Zelda😭🤣
@@GnidelAnd the thing is that Zelda has integrated it sensibly into the gameplay so that it is much more worthwhile to do the shrines and take full advantage of the mechanics.
In Genshin you collect these symbols, but unlike Zelda it is limited to "jump/fly onto the collectible". In WuWa you can walk onto the walls and have more freedom to get the collectible with the dash/grappling hook and in WuWa you have to become a Pokemon trainer so that you can permanently increase your stamina, which brings more structure and depth to the exploration part in WuWa.

Die hard genshin fans who refuse to play wuwa just because it's a competition will never get the feeling of being heard of as a player and see the love of the devs for the game they created and how hard they try to communicate with their community.
The fact that genshin community is still big shows that 5 of 10 random persons we see on the street are actually masochists lmao
I agree, game devs who value their players are absolute w. They even fixed minor bugs, and even sending free pulls as compensation (the players didn't asked for it but its cool)
To be fair if they (Wuwa devs) didn't listen to the community, the game would still be as buggy as it was at release.
@@silverwinter1597that's the main difference between two games. One dev listens when other doesn't. Cause the release of wuwa is really identical to genshin 1.0 but them listening and constantly trying to do improvements is setting them apart

I had to change my team every single minute just to walk around. I want to use a dendro team but no I don't have Kazuha to jump or Yelan to dash.
Remember needing geo mc on the team just so you can climb, and you need to wait a few seconds just to climb a few more feet because of the skill cd.
I coped with sayu
Genshin be like
-let's make one of the QOL exclusive to one character that you must pull/pay to make traversal better
-Next thing, wallrun, Double jump or air dash that only certain 5* limited characters can do
That was me. I explored everything with just the MC
im a day 1 player too..whiteknighted the game so hard for 2 years.wasted thousands of dollars for it too
then a meme hit me about employees and their employer
"sir we need a raise for better morale" "no we do pizza party"
it opened my eyes that mihoyo never care to begin with,i remember during first anniv that they said they cant give much reward cause they will be forced to give more during next anniv..and voila 4 fucking anniv with the same amount to the mats rewards.
quits and never look back, and looking back how toxic i was
Day 6 player and I feel you.

I think a new one will be coming soon 🎙
Yeah you're on point, it's definitely a pretty crazy ask to revise the elemental reaction system and how things currently are.

- No stamina bar
- Auto pickup loot
- Way less grindy to level up characters and weapons.
@@mrstalfos7489 and when you need to talk to an npc, you can't even skip their yapping. Everything in the game feels so outdated.
@@mrstalfos7489 Agreed 100%. In HSR you just have to farm exp/relics and dailies complete. In Genshin I always dread the dailies, teleporting to different location and having to talk to NPC that you can't skip by the way.
In hsr, the dailies are just complete by doing normal resource/relic grinding. Far easier and more relaxing

Ah, I remember this video. Bless this soul for finally seeing the light
I have high hope that WuWa will gonna have echo loadouts on the future patch...since PGR have one..u can put custom name on it and slap on any character u want
*Sluggish* is the perfect way to describe Genshin rn. Endless paragraphs of dialogue just for quick mini-game events, having to go to the Adventurer's guild to collect daily rewards and expeditions, slowly climbing and running out of stamina after 5 seconds of sprinting, having to wait days to farm specific books or weapon materials
It's just so slow and the devs just don't care about these things for some reason
I'm a Day 1 player and I stopped playing on Early May, just this year.
before Wuthering Waves release. and I have no plans of returning.

Same as me, day 1 player,
I finished Genshin already, I don't have anything left to do with the resin nor I do want more characters, I have everything

The one thing you said which I think lit up all of my pent-up aggression towards genshin was when you mentioned that "Every Genshin hater once loved the game."
I kinda think now that every WuWa hater also secretly hates genshin, but is under a sunken cost fallacy. And this made me feel so validated after trying to talk to friends for so long xD
And naturally, all of my friends own Festering Desire, so yeah - god I needed to let that out.
To counter this they made every limited event weapon absolute dog water. Some okay, but only for very specific characters

Last month i stopped and i never felt free from daily task lol its so mind numbing
I played since release and only missed 3 days of login.
I really felt the urge to quit from hsr i played it and it feels so much better, i only stuck to genshin since i really love their artstyle, characters and bgms hope wuwa will top this too
I had this same realisation when Raiden came out and I finished building her
Genshin Impact has a special place in my heart.

Still waiting for Gen 1 Watanabe, Bianca, and Namami leap.
what I wanted to say on stream, I recently played Cyno's 2nd story quest just to see the story, then later that day Jiyan's story quest and DAMN the difference is insane
Jiyan's quest actually made me wanna play through a character quest again, not aching for it to finally be over for once
the quality in animations is so much better in wuwa, while genshin charas are just doing this 🧍 the whole time
they really made Jiyan's story seem more impactful too
genshin's chara quests take soo long to pick up in pace, before that you're literally doing the most boring, unimportant sht
the writing in this Cyno story kinda felt like a middle schooler's fanfic tbh lmao
Same, played thru Chasm main quest and there’s so many moments with the beautiful objects around they could’ve used to show not tell, to create emotion- but instead you just get a character telling you what’s happening verbatim like this 🧍
I believe the rewards from the tacid fields just need to be buffed by at least 20% just to match the amount of wave plates being used
I would prefer it to be reduced to 40 instead, I like fighting in this game so more the better, also gives you two more runs to split between different sets
an Argument that Genshin players tend to make is that Genshin is a different game than WuWa; Genshin is more focused on Exploration and WuWa is more focused on Combat.
"Why don't you have festering desire?"
Day 1 player here, I have that and even I found that crap annoying af...
Same with furina, and people will have a counter argument with your point like: it is a free game, they dont need to give you reward( they are genshin shill and they dont undrstand the point of gacha game) but i agree with you
@@Phuc11611 Sure they don't but it's a good gesture for keeping the audience enganged and willing to oversee your flaws. everything felt like a chore in genshin. i feel sleepy whenever i open the game.
and the one that really cut the string for me is that they don't care about POC inclusivity in their upcoming region (Natlan) despite the mass criticism.
eversince i started playing wuwa..it became so hard to let go the grapple,parkour/sprint and story/cutscene skip feature..i literally went back to genshin after insanely grinding in wuwa for 6 days to grind primos for alhaitam banner but it feels so uncomfortable playing idk maybe my brain got so used to the wuwa mechanics..
Not really genshin revenue are still better than WuWa lol
@@zoe4965 Well, we can only see by the end of month. I'm not hoping much since Clorinde is so underwhelming. I had her and most she could do is a hyperbloom/quicken/spread activator in C0. After playing wuwa, I can say that, it has a lot of potential than genshin.
Just a comment that may sound out of topic..

27:33 they actually have an artifact strong box for echoes in wuwa, it's merge echoes in the echo level menu
it is shit
I actually laughed for a whole minute when playing CRK and saw the Toppings(Same as Artifact) Loadout...
5:21 The traversal system and combat of Tower of Fantasy made me abandon my two Genshin accounts XD
But during that time I know the existence of Wuthering Waves being developed
Imagine treating game as a job and then burning out like a match, westerners are compleyely insane when it comes to gacha games, too many normies got into the medium during the pandemic as well... And then they jump from one needle on another one which is just a worse version of the first one and delude themselves into believing that they are saved, lol...
Bing back Scar's zipper 😭
And further more, characters in GI have lore showing much more than Wuwa, like, jumping mountains, and shaping lands, even a character like Bennett has a cinematic that showed him jumping 15 ft in the air, destroying a truckload of ice
While in Wuwa, their power in lore are much less
But could you guess which one stay true to their lore?
God damn that Plazookas face at the end is the best lmao

I'm going to be honest. I played wuwa and it's definetly cool. It just ain't no genshin. I like the lighter designs of genshin more personally. I just don't like how they tried to negatively impact wuwa's release.
My favorite games are still genshin and star rail. I really love the story and the art of both games.
i came to genshin after playing FGO and Onmyoji, first i like the concept of open world, feel a little bit hopefully for it, and then it's kinda fine but it still has some things to fix, then after 3.5 years, they fix nothings so i quit
-Worst stories ever, they use archon and 5 star characters quest to hype the characters they want to promote and not care about the previous story line, make them look unconnected, cringe, and sometimes dump (like how the sage of sumeru get trick by alhaitham plan while they are kidnap a archon and plan to make a god? how focalor plans to destroy the throne of hyrdro and hope neuvillette will save fontainian-the creatures that make by his lost powers, by the previous hyrdo archon who missuse that power to create fontainian). While world quests are on the next level, have deep stories and messages about the teyvat world, where you really explored the open world with many stories to develop.
-Terrible stories leading, ton of npc talking nonsense, things not related to the stories, making the stories part became exhausted
-Poorly experiences improvals, it took them 3 year to make the daily explore tasks have "do again" button to have stimulate artifact, 3,5 year for more 40 resin limit. While genshin is a late 2020 released game. Almost four years and they havent make "artifacts sets" yet? common, the deadgame i play since 2016 have those things right after 1year
-The character design is mid or low in some cases, boring male with skeleton model (except lately wriothesley) adult female with tight or those see through fabrics, and cut the clothes to show more skin which not necessary making the design look cheap af.
-Cut scenes and gacha animation is worst, seen many gacha games but no game have poor gacha animation like genshin, like when you get 5star character, a splash art pop up and done, seriously? i play from day1 and after 3 years they havent update anything about that?
-lack of content when reach endgame state, no matter how little you play, after 3,5 years like me there nothing left to play
-Gameplay is ... yeah like spam EQ or add some clicks then the monsters lay down and dead.
-How they treat their players: they rather hide behind the media, making drama for the community to argue than making real game content, put most effort on marketing > social media content such as leaks, characters shipdom, sad-cringe back stories for mindless characters....> enhance the story, less npc yapping in quest, new daily quest
-Yeah and the newest opera house mode: they cut the abyss reset form 2 to 1 a month then add the new opera house mode.

Okay but why?
I enjoy Genshin a lot but now I’m not worried about logging in every day and using my all of my resin anymore ever since WuWa came out.
I was a day 1 player, and quit after 2 years right at the end of inazuma arc. There was just nothing... I pulled for new characters and thats it.
it's moments like 18:57 is why I enjoy tuning into Hexjuice's content tskr!
Wuthering waves is my first gacha game, I’m addicted. I haven’t been addicted to a game since I’ve been a adult, like 5 years
played it since release, got my 1st, 2nd birthday cake from the mail. the third i didnt bcs i was unable to login that exact day. cause you know, i am busy. that was the reason i quit. nothing else, that is. i 100% explored every region there is that time, got almost all characters except Eula, 12 stars abyss every cycle.
But wutheringwaves on the otherhand is actually enjoyable. just the traversering terrain alone is way better than genshin impact.
you can use anyone as the on-field character in genshin as long as you have Xingqiu and Kuki (4 stars)
Not all of them will do DPS damage but it'll work and you can use their attack animations
people treating games like some religion
Or a job
defend your genshin like you all always do.
Also, One burger please
@vanqwesh3408 bruh, i played a game whenever i like to play, and i dont defend any shit in my comment. i know some people are still playing fgo when there's a lot of good turn based games nowadays, and i don't see they got shamed for playing that. let people quit and play whenever and whatever they want..and i love playing wuwa my union level is almost 45
That's because to many, it is.
For all intents and purposes, the lack of religion in the Western regions of the World are showing that people still look for guidance to form their personality and daily life.
A lot drifted towards ideologies, others to gaming.
Genshin = Apple religion
WuWa = Samsung (innovation)
I get so many artifacts with crit chance, crit damage, atk % and it the stats I want never get boosted.
This kills my will to continue.
15:06
I think its funny that he said thay because I remember having kind of paassive acknowledgement, with one of ny friend, that they give beautiful animations to part of the character's kit you wouldn't normally use. Ex : raiden's charged attack or ayato normal attacks.
I myself quit Genshin. My reason is because the Abyss and this the second time I got the 2 useless hp donuts instead of wanderers weapon!! 😤 I’ll probably be back to play it in another week or so😂
Imao
It wasn't the first time I got a Genshin burnout. First was at the beginning of Sumeru and Wanderer really brought me back. Then I played and played, and that monster called version 4.3 started everything again. I now open Genshin to clear events on last day because I want to get Columbina, and see her in the plot. I returned to Hollow Knight a month ago, and even before that, opening Genshin seemed like a nightmare. I don't know how will I survive Natlan and Snezhnaya.
That’s why I’m glad for HSR it’s like finding the one after a toxic relationship. Refreshing.
I was there when it launched the game look great it was my first gacha game. After half year i was like the game is same there nothing to do and it lately made me physically ill, i was like nope i am out delete game move on. Now i am just happy that i made right choice.
It feels like I'm listening to a voice memo :)
As a day 1 player, I personally relate to his takes and I agree to most of it.
