- Fire lighting with a Mora bushcraft black and putting it through its paces, baking a simple cake in a reflector oven and a quick chat about my new knife at the end.

One of the coziest rubber handles available. Awesome knife. The kansbol also has a nice rubbery handle. You have to work for your fires Rob. mostly pine groves around me. Easier knife work but it would be nice with some more hardwood for the fire like you have. Thanks for recording and bringing the outdoors to all

Admire your persistence there - when it’s that cold I think I might have gone for the Firesteel or should I say Ferro-rod - don’t want the bushcraft police coming round!!!
The plan was to find a suitable rock to do the job, didn't go to plan! I set the camera up by the root plate of a fallen tree, gave a talk on looking for suitable rocks etc, dug out some rocks none of which were suitable then whent to switch the camera off and I hadn't pressed record! It wasn't meant to be.
