@@theonlymann1485 Methinks you need to be precise : it's probably a one shot on the head but not the body so you'd need to land a headshot on a dude that moves a lot, easier said than done. Though I heard the parry stuns ragers even on a bodyshot so it's a win either way
Devil's Claw is still a fun weapon, though it does feel a bit on the weaker side next to modern weapon releases. I've run it occasionally with Shred (crit-on-chained) and a Crit Zealot build, as that resulted in a fairly rapid recharging of Fury (ability). Good, but hits a wall against Crushers/Maulers (especially since I was running laspistol, to play even more into the crit build and because of its better ammo capacity for special-killing).
u can give a DH a run for his money with the devil's claw. but i find it rly difficult to time the parry when u have like 4-5 ragers o.s. coming in, like this 13:25. so using this efficiently seems to require a lot of training. i had it once where i had 4 ragers coming at me, somehow they all attack simultaneously and i killed all 4 with 1 parry! i was like: what just happened ?!
@@davidkamps9879 Yeah, after slowing it down I realized it. It was hard to notice the light swing that caused the sniper to flinch, which was what made me think it may have been a parry in the first place.
Hello! Any Advice for Carapace Armor (Crusher/Maulers) with this weapon? I saw you go for charged headshots in the first clip, but you used the stim to boost it. Would you normally go for parries or headshots or something else? I find the damage a little low to consistently fell the big guys and I was wondering if you had any tips besides "use ranged" for them?
Charge gives you a buff that lowers armor level for 3 seconds or until you melee. This means if you charge,.for 3 seconds a crusher is considered flack armor to you, which is.why you see people charge and shoot.
Flak armor applies mostly to armored ragers and the body armor of maulers. Crusher(1-2 shotters) have carapace armor, and maulers have their helmets as carapace armor too
a solo mode in this game would be awesome.... its early morning here where i live now and no one to play... no friends online... i would love to play a competitive solo experience with proper rewards... actually all difficulties should give proper rewards... zero reasons to play auric maelstrom, besides having fun... rewards are so bad.
I'm confused, why are your stacks of momentum going up when you keep hitting enemies? Aren't they supposed to be spent when you hit something? I see them getting spent, but somehow you keep getting to more than 10 stacks despite continually hitting enemies.
Momentum stacks build until you hit an enemy, and then you gain a buff for some seconds based on how many stacks you "spent"~ Once the buff procs, you can build momentum again until the buff wears off, and thus the cycle of carnage continues!
Ahhh, i thought it would reset the duration. So it instead waits till the previous duration finishes before applying the current stacks.@@InhaledPancakes

the only reason why I run +25 damage against unarmored is to kill dreg gunners faster. They are so tanky
Scab Stalkers are still the absolute worst.

how to oneshot ragers with riposite? i have a semi-fineish one i use for crit cooldown reduction, but takes several shots to kill ragers
