      Thank you Steely Flyer! As effusive as it sounds, we LOVE it and buying this RV has been one of the best decisions we've made.

      So many great places to go! I love the beach but Trona was my favorite. I never knew the desert could be so peaceful...

    Hi TH-camr! Do you still have your RV? Several years later how has it held up? Any regrets?

    Very nice rig like your layout more than the 35, but thinking of ditching the bunks in the 35 for washer dryer.One thing from past experience, looking to ditch the Genset for twin Honda 3000is's to me the Genset is way too loud. Keep in mind the Genset is "not" inverted clean power it can blow out low voltage wall worts like an apple charger. Small 12 volt to 120 inverters can do 22 watts apple chargers and get around that. But my big aspiration is to install a Tesla powerwall & go 110 volt full time with roof panels using the Honda's as a backstop. Full time 110 volt, would that not be really nice, everything on the rig works 24/7 with no generator noise 80% of the time..Looking at rigs, all the best.

      Yes! When are you going to do your Tesla powerwall/Motorhome project. It would be a game-changer for sure. I wish Elon would get into this arena.

    You should’ve bought a diesel!

    Ken and I are considering the Breeze 31BR, small diesel pusher...you did this 2 years ago...how do you like it now? Any problems, things you would have liked or changed?

    I am 6 feet tall. Will I be able to put the drivers seat back far enough to be comfortable? I hear the slide hinders this?

    • @cspuravida6598
      @cspuravida6598  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      We asked our 6'4" friend to sit in the driver's seat. He said he would be comfortable for a few hours, but it might feel cramped for super long drives. My best guess is that it will be fine for a 6' tall person.

    question...do feel that ur rv steering wheel is hard to keep from moving right and left as you drive?

    • @cspuravida6598
      @cspuravida6598  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Craig says it's not bad. This is our first motorhome so we don't have anything to compare it to.

    Thanks for the informative video on your beautiful motorhome. Is there a reason you chose gas over diesel? We are approaching retirement and looking to full time.

      Hi Tracy. There were two factors for us - price and use. As I'm sure you know, the diesel will cost you A LOT more. And I think it is worth the money if it matches your RV lifestyle. In my opinion, diesel is worth the money if you plan to do a lot of VERY steep mountains climbs/descents. We've had no trouble doing a 7% grade. When we calculated the extra cost (purchase & maintenance) against the fuel savings and our lifestyle, it just didn't make sense. If money is not a factor, then go with the diesel. Just my 2 cents...

    How much space do you have between the foot of the air bed & the wall on the right side? What I am trying to find out is if one can pass from say the dinette to the bathroom without stepping / crawling over the air mattress. Thanks.

    • @cspuravida6598
      @cspuravida6598  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The foot of the airbed (full size) is all the way against the fireplace. Yes, we do crawl over the bed when we're using it. It's no problem to get to the bathroom from the airbed. We always put the airbed away in the morning.The only models that we saw with walk-around space have the jack-knife sofa rather than the full airbed. I will make a video to show the sleeping arrangements.

    Thanks for this video. Do you still own this motorhome? Is it still holding up well?

    • @cspuravida6598
      @cspuravida6598  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, 2 years old now and we've made 37 separate trips during that time! I believe this MH was meant for full-timers who stay in one spot for a long time. So, considering the beating we've put it through, I'd say it's doing great. I highly recommend Tiffin.

    What kind of hitch do you have for your tandem? We also have a tandem. Do you tow are vehicle as well?

    • @cspuravida6598
      @cspuravida6598  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Julie. Our bike hitch is a Thule Vertex 9030XT and we believe it was worth the money. I'm sure it will last a long time. We don't tow a car. If we want to go somewhere, we Uber. If we're planning to drive a lot, I'll take our car.

    • @julieh3327
      @julieh3327 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      CS PuraVida Thanks. Do you have to have special framework for attaching a tandem? It looked to me like this was for single bikes. We have a Yakima tandem rack that we put on the top of our car. It works well but just saw. Your tandem and rack and wanted to know what you used. Thanks.

    • @cspuravida6598
      @cspuravida6598  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Julie Harebottle No special add-ons for the tandem. We put our tandem and our sons' single bikes all on it. Craig puts the tandem on pretty easily and it has a feature where you can swing it down and out of the way (after the bikes are off) so that you can get into your trunk.

    But how does it drive? How loud is the engine under normal driving conditions?

    • @cspuravida6598
      @cspuravida6598  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It drives great. Plenty of power. The engine noise is not bad at all. We can have a normal conversation in the front cab. The only time it gets "loud" is when we're going up a steep hill.

    • @cspuravida6598
      @cspuravida6598  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      On my weekend at Table Mountain video there is a clip near the beginning of us driving up a hill. It's a good example of the loudest the engine gets. We went up to 7200 ft at a 5-7% grade without a problem.
