I love people who do stuff they’ve never done before, because you need something. I often find my self in similar situations. I’ve seen an install on that pan where they reinforce the thetford pan with circles of wood under those bumps in that pan. Apparently you aren’t the only person who has found they are flimsy. Edit: as i’ve been contemplating fiberglass and watching how to videos, one thing I’ve seen is the recommendation to round over outer corners and build up inner corners. Apparently fiberglass doesn’t like sharp edges. It may not help you, but maybe someone else!

When I was looking for and watching videos as research into doing this job I only found videos of people doing things like boxes and boat stuff and so that combined with tips from the guy who I bought the kit from is why I came to do it like I did. I totally understand the reasoning behind what you say about the corners and just hope that I don’t get any problems in the future, but I feels nice to have something sturdy under your feet than them flimsy plastic trays. All the best.

WHAT an amazing job! It wouldn't even cross my mind to attempt that myself. What is the replacement toilet? Is it composting? I'd get one of those incinerators, but I think they're about £4K+ lol.
