    Wow that motor has a lot of good stats it looks like. I did get that one back in October, not knowing much about it. I love your videos and how you test everything. I wish you would measure the rotor with calipers to see the dimensions of it.

      It's a great motor. I normally measure the rotors, but my battery was dead at the time.

    The short tabs can be a pain. They are the same size as my R1 motor tabs

      I agree. I wonder if anyone has shorted out the motor because of that.

    A couple weeks ago I was just on ebay looking at surpass v6 17.5 for a current build.. I noticed a 1-v6 outlaw 17.5 and 2 -13.5 outlaw for sale. It was the first time I seen these motors and said f it and ordered just for kicks. I havent seen these motors for sale since or I havent seen any info about them. Maybe I should send them to you just so you can review.

    When will you test the new R1 13.5 or whitz 13.5

      Good question. At this point, I am only able to test the 17.5 motors. I do this because they are the most popular and I have to pay for these motors. Maybe once I start getting TH-cam money yet. I'm hoping that I will be able to expand the motor ranges in the near future.

      With the faster motors you can start running into the amp limit of the Tunalyzer under load testing.

      That's something I'm hoping to avoid.

      Funny i was asking about these two motors as well. I bought a T6.4 pre built with a whitz hyperspec 13.5 and it screams. Im curious what the whitz specs are.

      @@LegendsPizzaCo I heard they were good, but they are a pretty old motor. I believe the latest one came out in 2021. A lot of new development has come about since then.

    During the RPM and load test the motor sounded a bit gritty and dull. Maybe your audio causing this? Also you should IR temp the motors for comparisons. Thanks for yer review.

    • @wutupclegg6618
      @wutupclegg6618  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey PertersEn. It could be the audio. I'm just using the mic that's on my camera. I didn't notice anything during the run. It sounded pretty smooth. I would say it might have been the debris in the motor, but I cleaned it out before I ran it.
      I have used my temp gun on motors in the past. Thay read a different spot than what I can get a reading off of. I will test the can's temp when I run it on the Jerry.

      I'm pretty sure it does. It might just be the best all-around motor out, but it comes with a pretty hefty price tag.

      Glad you made this comment. I also run a surpass rocket rc v6 in my B7 and was looking for a 13.5 for my short course truck. I was already leaning towards getting another Surpass but also had R1 Wurks, HWG4R and few others on the list but I keep going back to surpass. For the price point and performance it's hard to beat. For $175 I don't think this motor is any faster than the surpass. You own both so I will trust your judgment.

      @wutupclegg6618  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I have not run the 13.5 Exalt, but if it's like the 17.5, then i would lean towards the Surpass. Especially in a truck on a high traction track.
