I have a pair of Merrill Moab hiking shoes. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have foot problems ( arthritis and nerve issues) I can walk virtually pain free. They are amazing!

Merrell MOAB 2 is so good it's unfair to other brands. HOKA and Salomon I've tried too and you won't make a mistake buying those but MOAB is insanely good.

What I'm looking for is a mid-cut boot that is very comfortable and light to use it in the city and to do some hiking, I care much that they are comfortable as the Adidas free Hiker 2 that seem expensive ... tb there are options in Columbia, Merrel, North Face, etc etc .... I do not need them for professional mountain but as for walking in the city and outdoors. What model do you recommend and what brand? THANK YOU!!! Owned a pair of NF Vectiv only to throw them away after 10 months because the front of the shoe ripped off. That's sad because my other pair of NF are still viable after +6 years

The lowa renegade are best for standing at the sink or doing kitchen chores but the Merrell Moab are best for moving around the house while cleaning especially good on the stairs.

I wouldn't recommend boots with GTX. They take ages to dry out.
My favorite for the moment are the Adidas terrex free hiker 👍
try Merrell MOAB 2. almost everyone says they feel a significant difference when trying them on
I think the Breithorn boots by The North Face are better than the Trango because of durability.
Planing on Doing Salkantay trek in September. Thinking of buying Martel Moab 3.
