@@MtnCommando no I wasn't with the 131st. But I think I remember them. During that time I was with the 169th Panthers and very shortly after we moved on to Janes fa 18. When I join the 169th I changed my call sign to Sith. Also I believe right around that time is when EA took down the launcher web pages for online play in f-18 and we moved to a standalone program called hyperlobby, and that was how we continued on with all of the squadron activities amongst the other groups online. Those were SUCH good times......

Great tutorial. Just one critique however. The Hud controls and master mode selection buttons are not part of the UFC, they are actually part of the Hud Control panel.
So will this module be on the same level of overall consistency as ED's F-16 or F/A-18? Is the team shooting for something that will feel as complete and consistent as the A-10C module? I ask because the Mirage had a pretty shaky launch and while it did get a lot better, it only really got where it needed to be when the AdA got involved directly. Likewise. The Harrier's development has also been a rocky road it doesn't feel as polished or as consistent as ED's modules. I guess I am asking if RAZBAM is shooting for Eagle Dynamics or even Heatblur levels of quality and detail here or are they going to be developing this to their own internal standard that may not match up with what we have come to expect from others?
I think it's worth remembering that the Hornet and especially the Viper were egregiously incomplete at launch. The Viper didn't even have a damage model, of any description. Regarding the Mirage, I think it's understandable that a lot of changes had to wait for the AdA, since the French keep data about avionics VERY close compared to the US. The Harrier is, I think, the real worry since it's an American McDonnell Douglas aircraft just like the Strike Eagle. Hopefully Razbam recognize that this is going to instantly become their flagship product and their entire reputation will live or die with this launch. All that said, I bought the Mirage years ago when I heard that Razbam were doing the Strike Eagle, in order to see if they were worthy. I love that Mirage so much, I just can't help but give Razbam the benefit of the doubt. I'm not sure if I trust it to be amazing on launch, but I do believe it will at least achieve greatness in the eventuality of time. Hopefully. Please.

The F-16 early access release was a misstep on their part but they were also very quick to take personal responsibility and it didn't take very long for it to get to a pretty good state. I guess the answer I am hoping for (but not really expecting on this comments section) from RAZBAM is what their own internal standard is? Does that standard match what we see from Eagle Dynamics, Heatblur, and even Deka? Do they have their own internal idea of what a accurate, realistic DCS module is? If the Harrier and Mirage are any indication, this seems to be the case and it is something that they probably should put out in the open so people can go in with adjusted expectations.
The graphics of the cockpit look great! Question: does the Mudhen handle more like an F-18 or an F-14? It’s not FBW, correct? The F-18 feels quite sluggish compared to the F-14, which feels very direct and unrestricted, which makes sense considering it’s not FBW.
It has the same FCS as the F-15C, just a bit more weight, drag and also a bit more engine power behind it. If you have the FC3 F-15C, that's how she flies, not fly by wire but a lot of assistance from the FCS, just like the F-18, wich also does not have FBW. Currently in DCS only the F-16, Mirage 2000 and JF-17 (pitch only) have fly-by-wire. Edit: after @HeavyMetalMonk 's comment, the F-18 has a limited mechanical backup to the stabilators, but the FCS can completely override it, so for all intents and purposes it is also full FBW.

@@rhysgoodman7628 Unfortunately I can't compare it to the F-18, I only have the F-14, JF-17 and a little bit of time in the F-15. To me the F-15 does not feel sluggish but the FCS has noticeable authority, it basically irons out adverse and proverse yaw tendencies. The F-15 also has aileron-rudder interconnect, instead of switching from aileron to rudder roll as the AoA increases (like in the F-14) the FCS does that for you. I feel like I have quite a bit more pitch and over G authority in the F-15 than in the Jeff, but obviously not the instant rip your wings of levels of the Tomcat. I guess you have to try it out, to me both feel crisp after two or three maneuvers to get accustomed to the different flight characteristics, you might be more sensitive to this than I am though.

The Harrier's Betty recordings were from the actual Jet, provided by USMC. 8:16 that is how the actual UFC works. Also not mentioned is when you click it with nothing in the scratch pad, it clears the entire UFC.
