  • In summer, 100 moons appear at night on Jeju Island.
    One is the real moon floating in the sky, and the other is the light of the fishing boats catching halibut in the sea of Jeju Island.
    The sight of these fish lanterns embroidering the horizon was depicted as 100 wish-granting moons in the TV drama Our Blues, set in Jeju Island.
    In Jeju Island, pancakes resemble squid, but they are treated much better than squid.
    It is better known by the name “Hanchi” because its legs are short and only an inch long.
    Put water in a steamer, dissolve soybean paste and boil. When the water starts to boil, add the cuttlefish and cook in the steamer for about 15 minutes.
    Once cooked, make a slight slit on the end of the part where the core is and pull out the bone.
    And, if you cut it into bite-size pieces and eat it, it becomes a delicious steamed Korean chili pepper with the faint scent of soybean paste and the flavor of the intestines and ink. You can also dip it in vinegar depending on your taste.
    During the cut-and-dried season, store raw fish and whole steamed food in the freezer and take them out one by one whenever you remember.
    You can enjoy delicious Hanchi, just like during Hanchi season, even when Hanchi is not available.
    When it comes season, try stocking up on dried chives. Once you get this, you won't be able to miss it.

      진정 한치를 즐기실 줄 아시는 분이시군요~!
      저는 횟감 수준의 한치를 냉동해서 겨울까지 회로 먹어왔고요. 이렇게 드시는 분들이 많이 있는걸로 알고 있어요. 통찜은 내장이 들어간 것 이니 조금 오래 쪄서 먹습니다. 된장 푼 물에 쪄서 드셔보세요~추천 드려요.
