I m 50 years Math teacher in Germany, i ve never heard about this method during my education. German students use the difficult method of subtraction. I feel a bit ashamed, that this method is almost unknown in Germany. I only know one book in German, using this tecnique. Thanks very much for the good explination from Munich. LG Chris
