    One additional thing, if the result of multiplication is equal to the first two digit, then go for the higher last digit.
    Eg: sq( 1296) , last digit is either 4/6, square close to 12 is 9 and sqrt is 3.
    Next step 3×4 =12 which is neither less nor big. So we go for the highest last digit which is 6. So answer will be 36.

      Correct.
      But, here you are using another method when the multiplication is equal to the first two digits.
      So here, you are using a general method when the result of the multiplication is less or more than the first two digits and a special method when the result of the multiplication is equal to the first two digits.
      You are burdening your mind with two methods when one method would suffice.
      Try it for simple perfect squares like 121, 144, 169, 225, 256, 289.. ...and as you know the answer before you work it out you'll easily see why one method is enough........or for 100!
      Remember, for those sitting for exams, with some 9 subjects to go through quickly AND ACCURATELY, it is wiser to use one method when it works in all cases.
      AS LONG AS ONE UNDERSTANDS WHAT'S HAPPENING.

    One extra detail the host could have mentioned in this video in relation to perfect squares ending in 5 is that all such perfect squares will also end in 25, 25=5^2, 225=15^2, 625=25^2, 1225=35^2, 2025=45^2, 3025=55^2, 4225=65^2, etc

    • @bhalusingh123
      @bhalusingh123 ปีที่แล้ว +22

      Yea bro it also has a Vedic trick
      Those numbers ending with 5 the square can be found in. 3 sec
      All you have to do is just multiply the first number expect 5
      By its consecutive number and then multiply 5 by 5 which is 25 always.
      For e.g-75²=7×8. Which is 56and 5×5 25
      I.e. 5625 another e.g. is 85²=8×9
      7225

      @jenil8719 as 1125 is not a perfect square (the first 2 digits can't be obtained by the formula n(n+1)) the trick for finding the square root of numbers ending in 25 will not work here.
      The answer is approx 33.54

      Sairaj Holkar, 676 is a perfect square. Multiply 26 by 26.

    • @nammalwarthiruvengadam2925
      @nammalwarthiruvengadam2925 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Possible roots of 676 are 24 and 26.
      In order to find the correct root we multiply 2 by it's next higher number 3 and get 6.
      When we compare 6 in 676 with 6, we find both are equal.
      When both are equal, always choose the bigger number between 24 and 26.
      Hence 26 is the correct answer.
      Another method:
      Find the square of middle number i.e. 25 .
      25^2=625
      When 676 is compared with 625, we know 676 is bigger than 625.
      Hence bigger number 26 is the correct answer.

      You are right. I have the same problem for many numbers. Conclusion : the method is not bullet proof, too many exceptions.

      1296
      Result is 12 so wich one to choose between 34 an 36.
      2596 How can you know it's a perfect square when the ending is 6. The root is 50.9 not 54 or 56.
      If you have another way to know a number is a perfect square please let me know.
