Is there anything else that should be considered when looking for a home? I know people with CIRS normally move to dryer climates but is it unwise to live in humid climates? Would the types of molds in the air directly outside the house affect someone with CIRS? I purchased a 16 yr old home with no signs of water damage/ mold growth anywhere and have never been so sick in all my life. I can’t possibly figure out where the mold source is coming from but our mold report shows Aspergillus Penicillium 25% in the air outside my house, could this potentially be the source? What matters is that an ERMI is properly collected so that you have the best idea of what's happening in that space, toxigenic mold wise. Air testing is mostly useless, it misses most of the toxigenic molds that make people sick. Asp/Pen are two of the most common molds. That have hundreds of species.
