Episode 3 was honestly one of my favorite episodes in the season. And like you said, there’s still hope for Darilynn since she said that she wasn’t ready and not “No, I don’t feel the same way.” Chances are, they both had feelings for each other while on Nublar and Manta Corp Island, but those feelings were suppressed when Kenji got involved. (Dumb choice in my opinion.) As for the plot hole you mentioned, about the Handler thinking Brooklynn would’ve died of blood loss, I think what happened was the allosaurus was giving the raptors a hard time, so Ghost had to join in the fight before finishing the job. In addition, Brooklynn might’ve gone into shock or fainted from the attack, and the Handler probably thought that Brooklynn would either bleed to death since she was unconscious or the allosaurus would probably eat Brooklynn while she was unconscious.

Yes, if anything these varying perspectives show how people can be unreliable narrators. If there’s only 2 things I want in this show, it’s for those 2 to get together and maybe Darius somehow secretly being Ramsay Cole.
