I mean I think the ONLY reason Checkpoint won ANY of these rounds was his cheerleaders. If Tom had cheerleaders as well as the modded units, every round would've gone in his favor in like 60 seconds (of full speed) TOPS; 100% certain of it.
Imagine 1 artillery strike caller with 6 cheerleaders and an army of riot police. That can be achieved with just 20,000 and could probably take down ANYTHING if they speed it up nearly as much as they speed other things.

I feel like if Tom had the regular units, we'd be seeing an unstoppable field of halflings ...and ballista cheerleaders behind them. (Josh definitely would've veto'd that immediately).
My best guess for the one round, where the Ice Giant and all his buddies just had a weird little dance party on that one spot, is that one of Tom's units, after getting ballooned into space, dropped down hard enough to fall through the ground a foot or two, but not hard enough to die. So all the units on Checkpoint's side were trying to get Mr. Moleman, the nearest unit to them, despite having no way of killing him ever
@@EddThe19th That was like 5 ullrs, an artemis and two hwachas each with multiple cheerleaders focus firing on them and they took like a full minute to die! An ice giant would die in two seconds from that! And the tanks hit super hard too

One tank is the equivalent of 310 halflings, which would probably also be able to easily destroy nearly any conceivable army you could make, provided any computer could handle that many power poses lol But yes I agree, a tank is far more powerful than a frost giant

This was by far the best HORSE and TABS video to date. Everyone expected the modern faction to be overpowered, but it turns out they're pretty well balanced for their cost. The Da Vinci's Tank round was funny and a good change of pace. And Tom's comeback and the super-close final battle were both just fantastic.

HEY TOM, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF RAPTORS? BECAUSE YOU CAN GET THEM IN TABS. Raptor rider is hidden in a small cave on the TRIBAL SANDBOX map. The cave is covered with downed trees on the left side of the map near a phallic mushroom pedestal of rock. ALSO, there is a Raptor skull on an altar on the other side of the map which will unlock the raptor.
It's good to know that when Ragnarok comes about and there are giants and monsters and gods fighting all over the place, us normal people will be able to hold our own with guns and tanks.
Believe it or not, there is one case at least of a tank being defeated when it was basically swarmed by peasants with hammers who battered it so resoundingly that the crew surrendered. The take-away here is that unsupported, tanks are indeed vulnerable to medieval means, especially when all hatches are closed. Ordinarily, it's a bad idea to swarm a tank because even if you can evade the machine-gun (or the canister round some can fire from the main gun!) any friendly with a machine gun can clear it without really injuring it.
Also there is another secret character on VIKING 1 map, hidden between three rocks at the back of the frozen waterfall. PS - You may need to update the game.....not to sure. Happy hunting my friend! Tim

It seems like, in smaller amounts of points, modern warfare isn’t good, but once you get enough spare points to start affording tanks with support soldiers, it starts weighing in modwar’s favor
Tom you should play with the snipers more they have amazing penetration and insane range Especially the cheytec intervention it is a .50 caliber sniper rifle
tom the VSS is not really a sniper in the sense you want to use it there if you want a sniper pls take the cal 50 barreta right next to it I hate how much that is infuriating me but it had to be said
That modern mod is way more balanced with the rest of the game than I would have ever imagined.

Cheerleaders really limit design space, any projectile becomes op when you fire 100 rounds of it per minute.

most of the units are overpriced and bad, but deagles, and tanks are worth. the tanks are really what mammoths/ice giants should be in terms of HP.

I think that this would be a lot fairer if they both had equal use of cheerleaders and no other special unit can be used in response.
