Did you hook both barrel plugs together? One to the spine, one to the head? Could be a bad switch. Check to see if you have continuity with a multimeter.
@@Industen I guess there is an issue with them in the head that requires a replacement of the eyes and its circutry. They are sending me new parts under the 1 year warranty.

Home depot has a replacement head with more featured for $80
