Yeah that are good paddles, too.. the VPF has been on a couple of my lists, including last years top 5 under $100 list, and I don't have anything against them, I just like these better!
Great review. My buddy has a Spartus Apollo and swears by it. Also just bought (the now) discontinued Neonic Flare Prime CTRL. Looking forward to seeing what it can do. Heard great things about the company.
you can currently get a factory second spartus apollo for $65 if you sign up to be an ambassador. I think this beats out any other paddle in terms of value. I’ve ordered 2 of them for friends and despite being factory seconds, the paddles are absolutely pristine; the only flaw being a tiny dent in the edge guard that is so small it looks like it was caused by a needle.
I have always been a huge fan of factory seconds in paddles of any type... the fact is, after you play with any paddle a couple times, it's going to look worse from that than any factory second ever usually does out of the gate, haha
Just won gold with the Flow after trying it out only 2 days before a pretty sizable 4.0 tournament. That thing just gives you so much confidence in the soft game- exactly what you need for under pressure situation. Oh yeah, and its at a great price!! Interesting how you compared it with the J2K however.... I actually found the pop on the J2K to be a bit higher than the Flow, and prefer the Flow since it gives you more margin for error on popping the ball up
Interesting the different perspectives on the pop.. like one of the above comments, I definitely welcome to alternate viewpoint, it's actually very interesting for me to hear!
Didn’t seem like the flow had more pop than the J2K for me. Also, Apollo is talked about as having a lot of pop, but I haven’t tried it. J2K has been the perfect paddle for me. More than enough power and pop while maintaining amazing control.
My drops were falling short using the Mage 2, so I kept going back to the Viva 3. Love the Mage 2 shape and composition though. The Apollo looks so good too. I think Hudef will come out with an Apex 2 this fall, and boost their standing on the widebody market. Nice vid
The J2K is my current main paddle and I'm loving it. Two paddles before that was the Neonic Flow which would have been my favorite paddle of all time to date, but it caused me to develop a bad case of bicep tendonitis requiring me to take two weeks off. Gave it to my brother-in-law and he hasn't expressed any issues. 🤷♂
Yes, I use the 16mm version of the pro1. It has good pop, power, and control isn't too difficult to attain. I feel like a lot the the Pursuit Pro paddles spin really well, too.
@@PickleballMedicine sorry about that, spell check! I meant do you feel flex in the paddle that they advertise? Also, which paddle would you say has the best feel you’ve played with?
The J2K is intriguing to me but the John 3:16 reference on the paddle face is a dealbreaker. As a devout atheist there’s no way in hell (irony intended) I want to advertise for ANY religion. Do you know if it’s possible to remove this reference without damaging the surface?
Hmm, good question, I've never thought about it! To be fair, the portion of the paddle that reference is on is so high that I'm sure it wouldn't affect play at all if you did anything to alter it, it's like 1/4 cm from the top!
Your gonna go hell cause God is and he’s the creator of everything you will absolutely find out when you die the devil is a liar you gonna regret it watch
totally agree with the #1 paddle here, it is one of my best paddles too, never had a bad day with it. let's go with the FLOW!!! LOL
No matter what I do, I can't seem to get away from it!! 😅
Just picked up the Neonic Flow. Thanks for the discount! Liked and subbed 🤙
Great review. Vatic's Prisms series has been out for longer than your group but I still consider it a top 5 value paddle.

I have a Vatic Prism Flash and like it a lot. Gives me great control and power. I will need to check out the Neonic flow. Are they similar?

It's now $109. Where did you see it
You're a legend. I just got 2 apollos for $130. I appreciate you
@@jbmagic100Sign up for the ambassador program on their website. You'll hear back in a few days and can buy the paddles
I really like this list. Keep up the good work!
Awesome thanks!!! Your paddle Guru!!

Great review! Love seeing the jelly bean mentioned

How do you like the Dunamis so far? I assume there will be a review soon, but looking forward to trying mine out when it gets here!
It's definitely a weapon! Not much like it on the market currently.. poppy and hits hard! The review has been filmed, just putting it together now!
Great list. Hudef Mage Pro Gen2 is my favorite.
Thanks for this, really helpful.
You are very welcome!
My tournament paddle as of the present Is the J7k Pro
have you tested j2k yet? i am considering switching to j7k for the elongated shape and better for tennis background
I have the force is it worth getting the flow? Or the J2k?
Very nice video!
I don't think I have seen a Vatic Pro paddle review? How does it compare? Which kind of players would prefer the Vatic Pro?

Daang, that's no joke! I had some elbow tendinitis last year that made.me take some time off... it's very frustrating!
Love the Hudef Viva Pro Gen3. My friend is going to buy one from you.
I can't tell. If I read your review and buy one, how would I know if it worked for me?
Any experience yet with the Pakkl Blade Xes?
What I have not been able to find is a top 5 all court paddle video. I find a lot of videos on power and control.
Interested to see if the new Quartz will earn a spot on this list later on.
Why do you like the engage pursuit pro1 so much? Also, do you use the 16mm?
Yes, I use the 16mm version of the pro1. It has good pop, power, and control isn't too difficult to attain. I feel like a lot the the Pursuit Pro paddles spin really well, too.
@@PickleballMedicine engage claims their paddles have fled to them, have you noticed that with the pro1?
Happy to weigh on, but could you clarify what you mean with, "fled to them"?
@@PickleballMedicine sorry about that, spell check! I meant do you feel flex in the paddle that they advertise? Also, which paddle would you say has the best feel you’ve played with?
The No.3 is in my backpack.
No Hisk Pro? $50 right now on amazon
I need to try the flow! I still don't own a hybrid shaped paddle.

how can I block pickleball videos on TH-cam? it's just a ridiculous imitation of padel that will never get anywhere outside of US
I think leaving comments on pickleball-related videos is a good start to customizing your TH-cam algorithm... 😅
