Huddersfield Narrow Canal (East) Spring 2009 - Huddersfield to Slaithewaite.

Many thanks to Martin for helping with the 21 locks on this very blustery day. One that was made even more eventful by added weed-hatch diving, baby buggy in lock gates, and a distinct lack of water under the hull in places.

Not all sections are quite as heavily locked as this section, and there's another 20 locks after this bit!
The HNC(East) rises you up over 650ft above sea-level to the Standedge Tunnel. An amazing section - but damn hard work even with a spare pair of hands.
