We miss being there so much and especially spending time with are dear friends the both of you! I am missing traveling! I have been cleaning out our little RV and how I loved living in its 200 sq ft! Now that we are back in a sticks & bricks realize how much more satisfying life can be living small & simple! Please have an Enjoyable, Safe and Healthy time in Quartzsite.
You're making me anxious to get out there, but I'm waiting for the weather to warm up before I make my 1,800 mile trek out there. I visit Q, but stay near Bouse, where my folks used to live.
@@EconomicRefugees I guess you don't want to stick your neck out, and help people along so we don't have to make the same poor decisions that perhaps you've already made. And the good decisions that you've already made that you could pass along.
@davidgoosen1633 That was just a look at the changes in the town in the last year, we have lots of videos with places to go and what to see, if you wa t to ask questions and get live responses way j our live tonight at 7: 00 pm central !! See you there.
@@EconomicRefugees thank you, you're very kind! And I do appreciate your work! I was difficult with you earlier, not trying to make your life hard . Sorry
Hey glad you made it to the q safe. You know I've only been out West 1 time about 20 years ago. Hunting elk in Colorado. So pretty excited to Be able to travel West. We will definitely be there next year. Thanks for the video.
Lol 😂 you know I used to work at the la Mesa RV Silver Dollar, saloon, serving them free pancakes, I had a blast on that job did it for two seasons. Not making it out there this year.
Yep, I remember a year or so ago when you had to pull the engine out. I have a 1998 Doge 1/2 ton with 179000 on it with the 360 in it and I have a 2001 Dodge 2500 with the Cummins with almost 500,000 on it. I love my old Dodge trucks for sure!@@EconomicRefugees
A few questions coming from a complete Neophyte here: Does buying a 6 months pass LTVP also include other BLM properties? I think I've heard there was some property in California that you're allowed to stay in as well as part of the pass purchase. If you're staying for a number of months, is there a way to get mail and packages there? And then what about if you want to do some work on your rv? Is lite construction frowned upon or what kind of freedom do you have? Can I run a skillsaw for example or portable tablesaw? How about say for example you want to change your wheel bearings or something. Are they going to give you grief? And then what about say if you want to take off for a week and just leave your rig there. Are they ok with that or are there limits you can leave your vehicle unoccupied? Are there nightly gatherings with other people or how is the social aspect? I like my peace and quiet, but I'm not a total hermit and would like to connect with others.
Yes you can use the pass in other places, there are mail services in Q, it kind of changes year to year and you can work on your rig but you might want to be away from people .
It seems like there's lots of land, so I would not imagine it's too hard to get away from people. I have some rv upgrades I'd like to do and this winter would be a perfect time to do it to pass the time. I still need to check into what most people are doing for Internet. Do you need any kind of booster in the area or is reception pretty good?

Great tour, went every Jan/feb in the 90’s and loved every minute. It’s changed a lot, and ‘😅 we’ve aged out’ and miss the fun. Thanks
It's a lot of houses from the area moved there, it's still interesting !!

Packed in so tight - YIKES! I am totally missing the attraction to that style of RV’ing. 😊
It is right, and not our normal, but our company pays for our spot and we only have neighbors on one side, it's not too bad !!
Normally when there parked in real tight is because there a bunch that travel or stay together .
Thank you for the tour! Good Show
Thanks 👍
Thanks for the tour! Happy New Year!🎉

The little breakfast and sandwich place is opened back up on the front of the laundromat.

The old Dodge is sounding good going through the gears. :)
It's just a v6 !!

Thanks for the .80 cent tour! 😅 btw, 6 cylinder gasser with 5 speed?
It was .50 cent tour, v6 6 speed !!
@@EconomicRefugees enjoyed it! Thanks for the insights too

Looks like a fun place to be. Do you have to have an r.v to camp there? I don't have an r.v I only have a car.
You would need to contact the RV park to ask, I'm not sure.
How much it costs to stay at the rv park
$300.00
aww comeon man-- explain whya park is cheaper tan whatever,...
Because it's the best.
Translation please
Tierra Caliente Meat Market is better than Ruperto's IMHO.
In Parker??
Yes. Actually only a couple blocks from Ruperto's. Other side of 95, about two blocks.
Do you deliver ?? LOL !!
MAGA RV Park 😊 🇺🇸 cool
Yeppers 😛
how do you let your dog jump?
He was leashed but still a puppy. That was the ONLY time it happened. Our other Boston never has done that. Some do, some don't.
Maybe they didn't have the weights on😂😂😂😂😂
you should drive a little faster
Okay !!
That whole road is winter only. You will get hit on that road and any other road in Q. 2or more are killed by vehicles every year.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed! ☺️
Try camping where you SHOULD not where you think you can.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed!
Carpetbagger tour.
