It could be said that the light show looks futuristic by today’s standards; but this concert took place 30 years ago in 1994. This is another example of Pink Floyd being ahead of their time.

Pink Floyd is the Greatest Live Performance Band in the History of this planet. They are the one band that sounds as good live as they do in the studio. The lights synchronized with the music to latch onto your emotions and pull them to the surface.

I saw PF in 1972, in Germersheim, Germany, at the Second British Rock Gathering! They opened with One Of These Days! And they had a light show, just not as ornate as Pulse.😊 their music is just as relevant today as it was 50+ years ago. For 100,000+ attendees, it was electric....in more ways than one!😊

I went to this show. I went to their last U.S. tour date in New Jersey. I was alone, I bought a ticket from a scalper, a hit of acid, and a pretzel. I had no other money. I will never forget that show. When your there, the vibration of the music goes right through you. A magical trip it was.

Saw the show in Denver with a group of friends. One friend was tripping and didn't remember most of the show the next day.
So, he bought a ticket to a show in Chicago and took a Greyhound bus out and back to see it. (And got robbed at the YMCA, but hey... he saw Pink Floyd. Again!!)

When they announce 14 days in a row sold out Earl's Court made me think this was going to be their last. saw 5 times. Tell me any group will be relevant today in 30 yrs. Should give Gimours 2 solo 's videos " live at Gdansk" & "Live at Pompeii" not the big Mark Brinkman stage but more Dave's playing. Gdansk 'comfortably numb" Dave has an orchestra backing this up. Amazing

I saw Pink Floyds' "The Wall" Concert at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, NY in February of 1980. It was the most spectacular performance I've ever seen,... of any kind,... in all my 68 years of life!
Floyd is the most incredible Rock band ever, and no one put on a Performance/Show like Pink Floyd did. I've been to a lot of concerts of some of the greatest Classic Rock bands of the 1970s, and nobody was in their league putting on a Show, nobody!

My all time favorite live concert that meant a lot to me when the concert arrived on April 17, 1994. Los Angeles concert at the Rose Bowl. Partner's birthday was 2 days prior to the concert the show was her birthday present. I got tickets on the floor 15th row almost dead center, $400 a seat and the show was worth double that price to me. Forgot to mention she was 5 months expecting at the time. 🙂.... Great reaction ELG!

I was at Earl's Court and the video doesn't do it justice, the lights overwhelmed the camera at times, there's over 20,000 people at the concert and over the 12 nights it ended up with over 275,000 who attended, it was a night I'll never forget. Enjoy the rest of the concert it's 3 hours long and contains the entire 'Dark Side of the Moon ' album.

Phoenix, Arizona ~ Sun Devil Stadium, with 65,000 friends. And PULSE was ever better live than it looks on video. Pink Floyd put speakers around the perimeter of the stadium, so sounds could come at you from above, behind, or from across the venue. Also, the lights were VERY tightly synced with the music all night long. They were almost another performer. And in some songs, the bass notes SHOOK an American football stadium. And that STAGE!! Far and away the best concert I've ever seen.

If you experience almost any track from the “ Pulse” concert you’ll be seduced into wanting to experience everything and I do mean everything they have ever produced, I personally prefer the live versions, some purists prefer the studio versions and that’s fair enough, but the live versions always seem to have something extra, enjoy you journey into the Pink Floyd rabbit hole, it’s very very deep.

I'm afraid to have to disagree with you my friend when you said tool have taken this kind of music to another level absolutely not in my opinion there was and not now has there ever been a band that can compete with Pink Floyd play the same or even better them, the greatest progressive rock band that their has ever been and ever will be just dive into their massive catalogue of greatness and you will see what i actually mean.😊
