    Hi! do you still get good use out of this - seeing as its a couple of months later now..

    • @Arthurwears

      Honestly, I use it SO much, I probably couldn’t film a video with it now because it looked ‘well used’ 😂 I’ll need to get it professionally cleaned. Absolutely worth the money and I couldn’t be without it. Total game changer for a roast chicken on the rotisserie 👌🏻

    Got this device for my granny, so far we tried some grilled meat and fries, and it went nice! But we're yet to try rotisserie, so thanks for the demostration. Do you know by any chance if its modes do anything other than temperature/time presets?

    • @Arthurwears
      @Arthurwears  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The dehydration option seems to be a special setting whereby the fan seems to go slower and on/off at a low temp over a long period of time and I didn’t seem to be able to replicate that outside of the mode option. I haven’t tried dehydrating anything yet though! Apart from that, I think the modes are just for speed and ease of use, because you can of course just set the time, temp and press the rotisserie button to cook a chicken rather than just pressing the chicken button…having said that, I did make sure I used the cake button when baking ‘just in case’ and then increased the time/temp to suit what I needed. Good luck, it’s a great piece of kit 👌🏻

      @threesixkiss 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, almost forgot it can do dehydratation - another cool feature to play with! I think you are right about fan behavior in different modes. This is super helpful - thank you!

    Thank you for these video I am goin to buy an air fryer and there's alot of choices out here, but I stumble upon Tefal Airfryer upon scrolling insta.. These looks good and durable. Machine isn't it do they have a warranty upon purchasing

      Hi sorry for the late reply - I can’t find my paperwork to confirm this, I always forget to fill in my warranties so I’m not sure tbh! I’d be surprised if there wasn’t an option though. Sorry I can’t help further.

    I can't seem to find on their website the materials of everything. Are the drip tray and grill/pizza grid the only ones coated with PTFE or is the intire inside of the oven coated, too?

    • @Arthurwears
      @Arthurwears  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, I’m not sure to be honest - the inside of the oven is silver rather than black so the coating is different in colour but it does seem to be a wipe clean/possibly non stick surface. The instructions did say not to use a scourer or any abrasives to clean the inside of the oven as it can damage it so it is possible it has a type of coating but you’d have to contact the manufacturer directly to confirm for sure

    Why doesn’t the control screen light up so you can see what you are doing

    • @Arthurwears
      @Arthurwears  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The icons on the screen light up - which is the temperature, the time left and the type of food/mode you’re cooking in. The background of the screen in black

    hey, if i may ask: so is this a regular oven, an air fryer (the hot air blowing thing), or a combination?
    this looks way better then standard 'basket' type air fryers...
    thank you!

    • @Arthurwears
      @Arthurwears  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s supposed to be an air fryer, grill and oven so I think a combination of both? I haven’t ever used the basket type so I can’t tell you how they compare, but when I was looking for an airfryer this came up in my search and it looked like the best size for cooking whole chickens and roast joints of meat. Here is a link to the product with more info if you wanted to look in to it further, it’s definitely described as an air fryer here. I hope this helps: amzn.to/3tluEM2

    So it takes for ever to cook? And some of the food didn’t look that well… but thanks for sharing, have a nice day 👍

      @@radiatingsun6056 How long would you expect a roast joint of meat to cook for at a lower temperature out of interest? This was 40 mins at 165 degrees and 45 mins at 200 degrees, so just under an hour and a half in total to make sure the crackling was crispy

    • @radiatingsun6056

      @@Arthurwears I think it takes roughly 30-40 minutes at 180-200C per 500g of meat in a traditional oven. So for 1kg of pork it would take between 1-1h20min. How much did that weight? Cheers 🙏

    • @Arthurwears
      @Arthurwears  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I’ve just zoomed in on the packaging and the label for this said “2 hrs” and the weight was 600g, so perhaps it varies for different cuts of meat. It was less than the guidance though, and generally speaking I have found this to be true for most things I’ve cooked In this so far. My normal oven is very old, not energy efficient and pretty rubbish tbh so this works great until I can afford to replace the main one 🤞

      @@Arthurwears Ok, thanks for the info. What matter is your own experience. I’m thinking of purchasing an air fry, but there are so many in the market that it will take some time to decide :P but I’ve noted, from yt reviews, that some of them are faster than the others. And the bigger they are, usually the longer they take.. Cheers, and the best of life for you 🙏

      @Arthurwears  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Oh hey - I don’t often cook chicken thighs, but when I do my fave is to layer chunks of sweet potato and butternut squash at the bottom of a dish, marinade the thighs in oil/cumin/paprika and then sit these on top of the veg 👌🏻

      Hello - don’t worry I’m really obsessive about this, you can’t see it in the video but might notice where it jumps a little where I’ve ‘cut’ it (the video) which is where I washed my hands and then removed this from the final edit. I completely agree with you, and in hindsight I should have added this in as a note for viewers too 👌🏻
