I’ve watched several of these guides and I must say yours has by far been the most informative and helpful to a few more interesting sights/excursions we would be interested in. Thanks!
I'm so glad to hear that! I wish you happy travels :)
I went from my home in Scotland, a short flight, in March 2023, (twice postponed due to Covid), and wow was it worth it! my highlights were the Blue Lagoon and the Glacier Lake with it;s Icebergs, just fantastic.
I took a 10-day trip to Iceland last summer. Pretty amazing how your comments mirror my own experience and feelings. SO IN LOVE WITH ICELAND 💞💞💞💞💞💞
I'm so glad to hear that :) ICELAND is AMAZING!
영상 잘 봤습니다 감사합니다
Great video 👌
Loved your video! I had a similar trip as well and Iceland was definitely my favourite trip!
Great Video Thanks from Austria 👍
Thank You!
Good job 👍
Seljarlandsfoss is one example of how a spectacular display can be created with just a little creek.
There is another waterfall, in the West Fjords, called Dynjandi. It is spectacular to watch - until you notice the small creek flowing from it! It is incredible how such a small stream of water can form such a spectacular sight.
Amazing and super helpful video!!! ❤
Thank you, glad it was helpful!
Love how comprehensive your videos are! Your Venice video was a lifesaver for my last-minute trip and I was so happy when I saw that you had an Iceland video, which is where I'm headed next!
Thank you for your kind words! I’m glad that my videos were helpful :) I hope you have a great trip to Iceland!!

@@NewYorkerJuhui is there public toilets along the ring road when travelling in a car?
@@jeffbunning6262 Gas stations along the road have them!
Awesome guide! Videography and editing were well done. Going to Iceland next month for the first-time but only for a few days (as part of a separate trip). If we were going for longer, your itinerary is the way to go.
Thanks, Jack! I'm sure Iceland will instantly amaze you in your upcoming trip. Happy travels!
I did a week long ring road trip and one thing you missed was the crashed DC3 on the black beach. We got there on solstice at midnight. Amazing.
Thanks for sharing all the good tips about Iceland road trip. We hope can visit this beautiful country next year! Watching what to pack is next! ❤
Ahh thank you! Wish you happy travels to Iceland next year!
Loved your wonderfully comprehensive video about your 9 days in Iceland! Out first foray there will be on last port stop of cruise but we added days after. So your video helps us plan to make the most of our time there! I'd say I think my favorite things to see will be black diamond beach, Icelandic horses, Geysir, and Godafoss waterfall!
Thanks so much for sharing! You made my day. I’m excited for your Iceland trip and your cruise! So glad to hear my video was helpful. Happy travels!
Thank you for sharing your experience! Really hoping to get there in a few years, from Alaska 🙂
Thank you for your comment, I'd love to visit Alaska someday!
Thanks from Poland 👍 I like your video
Thanks so much!
Have been lucky to have visited Iceland 🇮🇸 5 times. In a couple of days I return for the 6th time and will be doing the ring road. Iceland is a wonderful country with amazing landscapes. Great vlog and it’s made me even more excited for my visit ❤️
That's great! I definitely want to visit Iceland again and hopefully more than once. Such a wonderful country.
Amazing video! Iceland is on my list to visit. What time of year did you visit? The weather seems nice. blue sky a lot!!
Thank you, Rachel. We were there during early June and had many sunny days. Iceland was so beautiful and interesting. I highly recommend!
Amazing video! Thank you so much! One thing though...around 29.23, I think it's called the 'Thingvellir National Park'.
I have seen many itinerary videos of Iceland but This itinerary is “the best” itinerary video ever on Iceland ☺️ waiting for more itinerary video like this. Love you ❤ keep going. Byieeee🙋♂️
Wow, thank you so much for your comment, it made my day! A bit slowly but surely, I will make more itinerary videos like this one :)
Very helpful, the best video I have found to help plan a visit to Iceland, thank you very much for all this valuable information. Greetings from México!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m glad to hear this video was helpful and I hope you have a great time in Iceland! Happy travels :)
love this video, we have been to Iceland 4 times and always in the winter. I want to plan the ringroad trip next year thanks for the advise on this video
Thanks so much, I bet winter is a magical time to visit Iceland! I hope your planning for the summer trip goes smoothly!
@@NewYorkerJuhui yes it is magical but much more dangerous. especially with a 3 year old boy at the min that doesn't listen. :)
Any tips on Car rentals? Where did you rent your car from?
Yes, I used Blue Car Rental: bit.ly/3BSxnx8 Here's my affiliate link. They had a a nice selection of cars, and they were friendly and easy to work with. The location was also great - right across the airport.
Very nice! What month did you travel? Thanks for this!
We were in Iceland in June! Thanks for watching :)
😍😍😍
Great video. My wife and live in Scotland and have booked four day visit to Iceland in November to see the northern lights. It will be our first trip to Iceland really looking forward to it.❤❤❤
I’d love to visit Iceland for the northern light next time! That’s the one thing I truly missed on my summer trip. I hope you have a fantastic trip to Iceland! Thanks for your comment.
Thanks for sharing. Very organized and well explained video. May I know which month did you visit here?
Thanks! I was there in early June.
Great amazing video! Thank you sharing! May I ask what drone gear you used to capture these footage? Thx
Thank you! Of course, we used DJI Mini2. Here's my affiliate link: amzn.to/3Le9iXz
This is so cool!!! What drone did you guys use?
Thanks so much, we used DJL Mini2. Here's my affiliate link: amzn.to/3Le9iXz
Hey, that's a great travel guide. Thank you for making such a nice video! Is most of the travel footage taken by GoPro or Sony?
Thanks for your comment! All the travel footage was taken by GoPro hero9 amzn.to/3Ap1onw and a small drone DJI Mini2 amzn.to/40wtLuI
This video was super helpful!!!! Can you share the name of the hotel in the fisher's village? Thank you!!!!!!
Of course! here it is: www.fishermansvillage.is/ Glad this video was helpful :)
Hello. Nice video & thanks for sharing! I am planning to go with spouse in March this year. Which ones do you recommend to must go and which one do you think we can ‘skip’? As sun will only be available from 9-5pm. Thanks!!!
Thanks! That’s a good question. Personally I’d skip the Solheimasandur, the abandoned plane and any place that requires a major detour (if you’re doing a ring road trip) and I will make sure to not to miss the glacier hike & the glacier lagoon and seljalandsfoss, Geysir and the Blue Lagoon.
Hello JU, I love your videos ❤❤would you please help me find out hotels around ring road for 6 nights?
This so helpful thanks for sharing what time of the year did you guys wnet do you mind being specific please weather looks lovely :)
Thanks! We went in early June, and the weather was warm during the day :)
Awesome video! We are looking to be there in September for a about 8 days so definitely going to use a lot of your recommendations. Quick question, what's the drone that your husband use?
That's great to hear! It was DJI Mini2 :amzn.to/3Le9iXz We really enjoyed having a drone in Iceland, happy travels!
May I know where did you stay at Djupivogur and Reykjavik? Love your itinerary and details of your video. Thanks so much!
Of course! We stayed here bragdavellir.is/ at Djupivogur and cheapoair.tp.st/JzAyT1Ak near Reykjavik
great video. new follower here. We're booked to visit Iceland for 11 days late july to early August. Do you think there will be glacier hike at that time? We booked a campervan. Thank you.
Thank you, and welcome to the channel! Yes, glacier hike is available during summer months. Visiting ice caves is probably not - I think it was only available during winter months. Congrats on booking a campervan in advance! Well done. Happy travels!
what camera did you use for this video. Beautifully done.
Thank you, I listed the camera used for this video in the description. I have to say though it is not me or the camera, but Iceland itself that deserve the full credit for the beautiful shots!
Amazing video with details, I'm planning What was the total cost for your Trip? Flight Car, Stay, Food?
Thanks! The total cost was around $4500 for two. For more information, check out this video right here th-cam.com/video/nZVOF-USlOg/w-d-xo.html
Hi, thanks for sharing your itinerary. Which month you went Iceland? Thank you.
Late May to early June!
@@NewYorkerJuhui thank you so much
Hello Juhui , in your clip , you mentioned about an area with swamp of flies when you walked to the car in the morning, only one or more? where exactly was? plz , so I ll avoid that area . Is it by lake Myvatn ? Thx Juhui
Nice video , which month was it ?
Thanks, it was early June
When exactly in May did u go. Thks for the bug net for myvan lake. I’m going May 20-May 30
We were there last week of May to the first week of June. Similar to your dates. Glad to hear you found my video helpful, happy travels!
Great video! One comment - Road 95 is not an F-road, it is a regular dirt road open to all kind of vehicles :)
Thank you for the correction! I didn’t realize that. Nonetheless, it was a pretty adventurous road to drive :)
Hey which month did you travel to iceland for such amazing scenery
We were there in early June!
Thank you for your video. It is helping me with the planning of my itinerary for my trip this summer. I have a question for you. I keep hearing that you need to have a “pin” number when pumping gas in Iceland. I have been hearing that you need a PIN number for credit cards not just a debit card. Is this true? Here in the United States you do not need to use a PIN number with a credit card. I am a little confused by
this because here in U.S. we don’t need PIN numbers when pumping gas with a credit card.
Glad my video was helpful! That's a great question. We never needed to use the PIN number in gas stations in Iceland. We filled up whenever we were in a town (not middle of nowhere), such as here: 09:44 and we were even able to use mobile payment such as apple pay and google pay. I think it's only the old machines that might require a PIN, and from our ring road trip, we did not encounter those machines that require a PIN.
Please advise if we can use (a) credit card with pin or (b) credit card just swap/sign . Thank you.
All the places we went in this video took (b), however we heard that some isolated gas stations on the road might require (a). I’d say bring at least one (a) especially if you’re doing a road trip in a van/RV.
Hi thanks for the video, did you go in Dec ? İm planning in Dec ,can i see these places or will be snow covered?
I went in June, and the weather was nice. The weather in December will restrict you from doing more outdoor activities, but you probably have a better chance to see aurora and beautiful winter scenery.
In December you will only have a handful hours of daylight. The total opposite to what you saw in the video.
Which month did you visit? Weather looks good
Early June!
Was glacier hike difficult? How long was it? I’m not very fit so a bit worried. 😂
I hear you! Hiking on the glacier itself wasn’t very long - I think it was less than an hour? To get to the glacier, you need to walk flat rugged road for a little bit. Overall it wasn’t a steep hike, so I would say it was moderate. Also you will be given proper equipment like poles and ice chains for the boots. Just make sure to wear hiking boots that go over your ankle. They also rent hiking boots if you don’t have any. Hope this helped. Happy travels!
@@NewYorkerJuhui thank you for the fast response!! I like that it isn’t very steep!!
How many months in advance you made your hotel bookings
I think about a month in advance, but I would recommend booking them earlier if possible
Hello
How do you book SUV rental? Any recommendations please?
I used Blue Car rental, and I highly recommend them! Here's the link: bit.ly/3BSxnx8
when u travelled to iceland ? date ranges ?
In early June!
Which drone you use???
DJI Mini2: amzn.to/3Le9iXz It still holds up!
Is there silver circle
How is September month to visit Iceland
I think September is a great month to visit, as you can still do a lot of sightseeing and activities and you might catch the northern lights
Hii, ineed help with planing a trip to iceland , i have a couple of questions can i send you in a mail
What month did you visit Iceland?

wait! is 95 really a F road?
I realized it wasn’t! Sorry for the confusion. It was still an adventurous road to drive :)

Perfect 9 day Iceland Itinerary when you rich
dissapointed that you skipped all of the east coast and went inland to the north.
Iceland is overrated, go to Alaska instead
Hi, Great video and information..any links for hotels and airbnb? Did you book directly or any other sites? I am preferring to have cabins near mountains, for a unique experience. Thanks in advance.
