@@Hibernica1641 For extra in case you didnt know, a ton of British regiments were known as "Fusiliers," i.e. carrying fusees. In this case, and probably the case of the song, fusees are yea, light muskets that were used prior to when muskets entirely replaced pikemen. British regiments that used muskets were called Fusiliers, but the name stayed even after widespread musket use.
