How to Pair sennheiser hd 4.50 to Windows 10

- I feel like a fool, but i had alot of drama trying to pair the sennheiser hd 4.50BTNC with my Windows 10 laptop
The sennheiser instructions in the box are pretty bad and only after reading the PDF i found how to re-pair it to another device

Thanks so much for the video I had so much trouble from the beginning. I did have it connected fine with my first pc when I tried connecting it with another pc had so much trouble because it kept saying cannot connect and turning it off and on and off and on for over an hour. Hope I didn't wreak the battery. But with your video I see the flashing orange and blue I knew know it was trying to connect and it showed up finally so easy. Hope you have a great new year.

CRITICALLY IMPORTANT: For the HD 4.50R that I own (not sure if true on others) You MUST have the headphones UNPLUGGED to pair! Not just from the device, but the wires need to be removed from the headphones themselves. (this is also NOT mentioned in the instructions). I've been trying for two days with the charger in and only figured that out now.
Still saving people hours after 3 years. Thank you for sharing this!

The headphones are nice but in terms of usability these suffer from some serious issues. The bluetooth + Win10 is just one. Try figuring out how to turn on/off the ANC...LOL Nice that you've included this in the video.
Yes, there is a manual however I am a firm believer that a pair of headphones (not a rocket launcher, not a spaceship etc.) should be made in a way that doesn't force you to read a manual or look at TH-cam videos.

Thank you! I simply could NOT convince my bleeding headphones to pair with my laptop....good heavens it was annoying. The stupid manual simply says that the headphones automatically go into pairing mode when you turn it on, which (as you pointed out) is completely inaccurate. Now I can finally use them for meetings.. good grief. CHEERS!!!!
Your right the manual is useless for the Bluetooth connection part. Good stuff now connected top man.

Thanks so much! The manual doesn't indicate well that this is how to make it discoverable. I'm now staying in a house that has good internet only in the bedrooms - now I can stream leaving my computer in the bedroom but me physically be elsewhere. What a gamechanger!

Yes, thanks, I had forgotten that you had to continue pressing the power button. It's strange that the manual doesn't say this. Maybe I will email Sennheiser about this.

Thanks so much mate. The manual is incorrect and on page 16 does not mention continuing to hold down the power button until the red and blue flashes. So your instructions were perfect!

Same thing here: no troubles connecting to a phone, but the usual pairing procedure wasn't even making the headphone visible to Windows 10. This video was a short and simple solution to the *exact* issue I was having...THANK YOU for sharing and easing my frustrations! 😂
