Hey everyone! I'm so happy to finally be able to share this video with you all, it's been a long time since the last upload and I wanted to fill you in on what's been going on. I've been busy working not only on this adventure here but another 2 videos at the same time, one being a 25 minute super wholesome adventure on Chernarus, and the other a 50 minute journey on Deer Isle. The shorter one of those two is already done, and the 50 minute one is close to completion so there should be a lot more content on the channel in the next few weeks. It'll be a while before I do another video of this length as it just takes so much more time and it isn't possible to make these with the upload schedule I would like to keep up. Maybe every half a year or so I'll decide to make a bigger project or whenever it feels right, for now though I need a break from it lol! I hope you all enjoy it and I'm glad to be back!

Ever thought of hiring a twitch mod or editor to do your TH-cam uploads? Or even a weekly unedited upload ? I follow on twitch but do 12 hour shifts and never have time to watch live. Iv watched every minute of your youtube content within 3 months of finding your channel some vids more than once too. Your content and personality are top tier, I think you'd be surprised how well unedited 3-4 hour uploads would do. But I don't know how well YT pays. Great to see you back anyway! As a YT frog I was starting to worry because the last clip 2 months ago started with you saying you had personal and Internet problems.
Dear Soap, this was like one of those rare occasions when you go to the cinema and can't stop thinking about how good the movie was. So much effort really paid off: the interactions, the different perspectives, the narrative, your insane quick-thinking skills, the music. This is a video I will remember, and one that I will recommend to show people how great this old game can be. Same thing for your other videos, but this one just tops it. It is a true ode to DayZ and you should be really proud of it.

I know this video was a long time coming, but I know whenever you release one, it's going to be good. For me, it's the interactions and the personalities that make DayZ what it is. Sure there's streamers who work on building/raiding/killing, but your videos (well, you and RunningManZ) are a cut above the rest. You set yourself apart by having clarity of thinking and communicating. You also have a good moral compass and view DayZ as being a game for the people. You're also really good at being a team player, supporting those around you and having the good grace to follow when someone else feels that they want to lead. I never have the time to watch your Twitch streams, but I do watch the TH-cams, you have my thanks (and hopefully others) for continuing to provide for your TH-cam supporters.

When Thomas "went to sleep", I had a physical and audible reaction of sadness. Thanks to how you interact with people, I feel like we get a small yet proper look into their personalities, and even the smallest interactions can make you root for someone and hope they'll make it to the end. I get surprisingly invested and immersed with your adventures, in no small part to the excellent editing I'm sure. Just stellar work all around mate, yet another absolutely fantastic movie - I can't bring myself to just call them videos, because it's just like sitting down watching a movie! These videos just become more and more epic. The graphics, the music and that magical voice. I can imagine that this adventure exactly felt like ending up in the top 3. And it also had something melancholic about it. A good hour of bonding that suddenly ends with the knowledge of never meeting that friendly German guy again (and Daisy too) accompanied by the best possible soundtrack you could have chosen. Truely not a clickbait title, I loved this literal movie like video. Enjoyed the subtle music in the background getting louder and more silent and changing up depending on the situation. But a real highlight is the players you encountered and the german with whom you ran with in the later bit. Such a treat

Brand new sub here. What an adventure! The friendships, the battles, the story. It's nice to see after looking through quite a few different DayZ players on TH-cam that you put this kind of care into your playstyle and videos after finding mostly others on TH-cam who just don't talk to people and kill for no reason. You read the situation and form allyships, let people go, and kill bandits/other players as needed, and that makes for a much more fun video! It's got me hooked for future videos, and for going through your backlog!
I enjoy all your stories, Sour. They are truly so good, but this one was absolutely top notch. The time and effort you put in is not lost on me! I always love your musical score, the travelling/map cut scenes are not only a nice touch and so well done, but they communicate to your audience how much ground you're able to cover in one play-through. But of course, the connections you make with players is the heart and soul of your stories. And this story's relationships were something special. If there are awards for DayZ stories, this one is a shoe-in for Epic Story of the Year!
I rarely comment on TH-cam nor do I interact with videos most of the time. But this time I feel an urge to. I have long stopped playing since I moved on with life and such, but I still watch your videos from time to time because of the nostalgia they give me. I had some terrible moments, and some absolutely great ones. Met many people, made new friends (even if "only" over the internet). I know this video was a long time coming, but I know whenever you release one, it's going to be good.
For me, it's the interactions and the personalities that make DayZ what it is. Sure there's streamers who work on building/raiding/killing, but your videos (well, you and RunningManZ) are a cut above the rest.
You set yourself apart by having clarity of thinking and communicating. You also have a good moral compass and view DayZ as being a game for the people. You're also really good at being a team player, supporting those around you and having the good grace to follow when someone else feels that they want to lead.
I never have the time to watch your Twitch streams, but I do watch the TH-cams, you have my thanks (and hopefully others) for continuing to provide for your TH-cam supporters.

When Thomas "went to sleep", I had a physical and audible reaction of sadness. Thanks to how you interact with people, I feel like we get a small yet proper look into their personalities, and even the smallest interactions can make you root for someone and hope they'll make it to the end. I get surprisingly invested and immersed with your adventures, in no small part to the excellent editing I'm sure.

These videos just become more and more epic. The graphics, the music and that magical voice. I can imagine that this adventure exactly felt like ending up in the top 3. And it also had something melancholic about it. Brand new sub here. What an adventure! The friendships, the battles, the story. It's nice to see after looking through quite a few different DayZ players on TH-cam that you put this kind of care into your playstyle and videos after finding mostly others on TH-cam who just don't talk to people and kill for no reason. You read the situation and form allyships, let people go, and kill bandits/other players as needed, and that makes for a much more fun video! It's got me hooked for future videos, and for going through your backlog!
I enjoy all your stories, Sour. They are truly so good, but this one was absolutely top notch. The time and effort you put in is not lost on me! I always love your musical score, the travelling/map cut scenes are not only a nice touch and so well done, but they communicate to your audience how much ground you're able to cover in one play-through. But of course, the connections you make with players is the heart and soul of your stories. And this story's relationships were something special. If there are awards for DayZ stories, this one is a shoe-in for Epic Story of the Year!

Sour, I used to play the original Day Z wayback when and a bit of the standalone. I have long stopped playing since I moved on with life and such, but I still watch your videos from time to time because of the nostalgia they give me. I had some terrible moments, and some absolutely great ones. Met many people, made new friends (even if "only" over the internet).
Your interactions are super interesting, I love the way you play DayZ and it is always very entertaining, exciting and wholesome at the same time. Thanks for making these cool vids.
