This was honestly the thing that frustrated me when I was a kid. I thought that this implied there were previous generations of Gundams, since everyone knew what they were, I thought the Tallgeese was one. But no, Tallgeese is just a big Leo, and there weren't other Gundams before this.
1:04 is one that a lot of people cite as being the most iconic but I always defer to 1:30. Funny enough, I also just gave the video it's 104th like. 1:04 also happens to be when you feel the Deja Vu kick in. Iykyn.
I found this amazing little collage of clips when I was looking for the EXACT "It's a Gundam" scream I know so well due to a TH-camr of that very name. I was never heavy into Gundam shows, I have watched some of the newer ones and I liked them though, so I would probably like the older stuff - buuut... I have a hard time with early 90s Anime's aesthetic - yanno it is kinda like for me, trying to watch the ORIGINAL Dr. Who episodes or Twilight Zone - aside from the story - all the camera work, all the audio, the set design, lighting, and even delivery of the lines - the whole aesthetic package makes me feel bored. This is true for me still of the "All Time Classics" of cinema - This is true of me for most OLD movies that are considered "good" - I can't seem to enjoy any movie before around the late 60s era - though most of those movies I love are all from Monty Python, which ages amazingly well today in all ways - the movies at least, Flying Circus was always hit or miss kinda like the old Twilight Zone. Long tangential rant, but yeah - almost any anime made before 2000-ish all have a hardcore cheap vibe - the artwork and audio are prime examples of how the Anime Industry has grown TREMENDOUSLY in terms of production quality, story is what matters most but in an Audio-Visual experience having good Audio and Visuals makes the show that much better. Even the best Animes of the 90s aren't as objectively as good looking as nearly any made today other than atrocities like RWBY, EX-Arm, or High Guardian Spice - and for me, the only one of those 3 that is ACTUALLY an anime, and not a western bastardization of anime would be Ex-Arm.
