Does look far better than a cheap one I fitted in my van recently. I upgraded my fuel line, clips and to a turret and also put some filter sponge in my air filter as it had nothing at all in my one. I do like these diesel heaters though and have another one on the way so hopefully I can set up my own grow out bunker in my garage.
I'm impressed so far, I think the cheaper models are great value, and the 5kw has been great. I'm hoping for better things with this one
Definitely useful info Andy, as I’m very interested in heating my future filter house during the winter so I don’t have to shut everything down and take everything apart and kept in non-freezing areas (like in our cellar in the house), when winter freezing temps come in. Gosh winter is so long!! So if I can keep things heated enough in filter house like even 50°-55°F then nothing will freeze 🥶
and can keep running. Well we’ll see how this goes next fall/winter 2024! 😂🤞🙏🏻

Looks like a nice upgrade from the Chinese heater you are presently using. Chinese made products seldom are the same quality of the non Chinese ones but you get what you pay for. Have a great New Year and hopefully nice long pond season. Cheers.

Nice looking heater there Andy and certainly an upgrade on the chinese ones . Also the tarp looks good on the roof and if you have put it UV side up should last a couple of years atleast. Glad you all had a good Christmas all the best for the new year 👌👍👍👍👍👍

Andy have you thought about using H sections joining strips for joining the polycarbonate roofing sheets
Hi Nigel, I did look at them, but the tarpaulin was a lot cheaper, and it's doing the job, but it may be something for in the future. 👍
How much in fuel ⛽️ are you spending litres ?
At the moment its about 2lts a day set at 14 degrees .
I've also had issues with my heater, this looks like a good replacement. Interested in your thoughts once you've tested it.

Is the Alpine model 2kw still on backorder to US? Anyone who operates much above sea level needs the Alpine, or what VEVOR calls Plateau Module option.
I have the standard lavaner 2kw Pro model, I believe the alpine is the 5kw, I don't know anything about back orders, sorry

HLN has brushless fan thus quieter, better exhaust piping and silencer your video too long get to it … took 10 minutes to get to it
