I use to be a pet groomer. Be careful, there is ALOT of animal abuse out there in the grooming community. Also alot of groomers keep your dog in a cage for hours before they start grooming them. Sooo...when you dog gets groomed, STAY with him and watch.. this is so very true and sad.
I do the "drive bys" . when I drop them off to be groomed, I will circle around, walk by again to look in the window, you can see them in the area there and I will also just pop back in to see if he is ready earlier but I what I am really doing is seeing if I hear him crying or hear someone yelling , tugging on, being mean to the dogs. I have seen that before , said something, grabbed my dog, walked out and let others on the way in know what I just saw. I never went back to that place again and it looked so nice online..very deceiving. I do not like when they have a different staff every time you go in, if people don't like working with animals, why the hell did they become groomers? did they think it would be easy? Petsmart...oh no. forget it. my mom's friend took her dog there a few years ago. they put him in a dryer and left him in too long, he overheated and had a heart attack, he died. I had no idea they put them IN dryers? awful just awful..my dogs are like my kids, so I do what I call my drive bys after I drop them off at the groomer, even tho we have now been at the same place for awhile , I still do it, you never know..

Great haul! I'm with you on the heat making you want cool things to eat. In the summer in Texas and Oklahoma, my mom made lots of salads..chef, tuna salad, fruit salad...or we would have sandwiches or something light for dinner.

Mount Olive Pickles are sooo good. As soon as you pulled that jug out of the bag my mouth started watering. I love dill pickles AND bread and butter pickles. Hey Tiffany, I discovered something those little Kool-aid bottles called kool-aid liquid drink mix you just add a couple drops into a glass of water no calories, sugar free, caffeine free, but they are sweet so awesome if you go on vacation or just anywhere where there's water Lol. There kinda expensive $2.78 for one bottle you can make 24 glasses. Comes in grape, cherry, and tropical punch and a few more.
