Thank you Tony for this video! Im African American and went on my first cruise which was a Carnival Cruise 27 years ago. I have been on 5 Carnival, 4 Royal and 1 NCL. I have to say all 5 Carnivals were the best. I had no issues. Now that I'm older I do prefer the more laid back atmosphere of Royal. I now have two grandbabies. I want their first experience of cruising to be on the cruise line that earned the title the 'Fun Ships'. Planning now. Big thanks to Carnival for thinking of families and making it more affordable for families to cruise vacation together.
Maybe my age, mid-60's, but I really like HAL. I think a lot of people go on cruises to have constant action/things to do. I do like to cruise very vacation-like. Don't book an excursion at every port, enjoy the slow pace of sea days, and enjoy enhancement. I still have action vacations but for me I like the laid back cruise.
I am in the same boat on this. In my early to mid 60s, it's not about the constant need to do something on each day of the trip, but just to enjoy the scenery and smell the roses.
Carnival is NOT my choice of cruise lines. I have sailed many times on Carnival, because I take my children and/or grandchildren so they can have a great time. They love Carnival for all the reasons you mentioned. LOL LOL these are the same reasons I don't like Carnival. Carnival has a place in this world, but it is not for everyone. I am booked to sail on the Carnival Panorama in December with my adult grandchildren and their children. I will enjoy watching and hearing about what a wonderful time they are having. Next year, I will sail on Holland American to fulfill MY choice of cruise experiences.
Tony I don't comment often but today I want to say Thank you. I appreciate your video and how unapologetic you are by calling things out. Merci mon ami
I am going on my fifth cruise with Carnival and I think Tony really on point with everything he said especially the diversity topic. Tres jeanty de ta pas madame Joseph.
Tony, I love Carnival, but you really pegged me about the tablecloths! I still miss the tablecloths in the dining room. Not stopping me from enjoying my cruises, though. I'm sailing on the Mardi Gras for the first time this Sunday! Thanks for your fun content!
Dude! Where are the NCL, MSC, Cunard, Holland America, Royal Caribbean and all the rest? This was a great video that should really help people. So, now, there are 5 types of people who have no idea what cruise line they should take or not take... other than Carnival.
Sailed twice on Carnival. Great crew and food, but probably won’t be back because I think the other type of person who should NOT sail with them is the person who doesn’t want to pay separately for a ton of things, including tips. We sailed on Celebrity recently (would love to see your POV on them) and just prefer to know that the crew was taken care of in advance and we can walk off the ship without worrying about our additional bill. Added bonus, we don’t have the spend the last 2 days of the vacation hearing other people complain that they have to tip the crew and contorting themselves justifying not doing it. 😢 BTW, loved that you addressed the elephant in our nation’s room!
Huge thank you for your comments about racism. I'm not sure I can imagine any other cruise TH-camr having the courage to discuss this. It's a topic close to my heart and I'm sure others feel the same way.
Ref kids: we never are overwhelmed with kids due to the times of year we sail. There is a much lower number of kids during the usual school season. We stay away from Spring breaks, Cruises during Christmas and Easter school vacations. I do miss the tablecloths very much! Great video!
The "Struggle Bus"?? I LOVE IT!!! I feel you had to dig deep to make this video. Thank you Tony! (I've heard Carnival "is the Walmart of cruise lines")
I have been cruising with Carnival since 2001! On the Paradise when it was still smoke free! I like to cruise because it is easier for me to unplug and relax. I don't want to participate in anything happening on the ship. I want to sit in a chair in the shade and read a book and watch the world go by. I can do that on any cruise, so as long as the food is tasty and the ship is clean, why wouldn't I choose the least expensive option?
Thanks, Tony I enjoyed the segment. Carnival was the first cruise we took and, in my opinion, the one where I had the most fun. I always considered that was because it was our first cruise, but you pointed out some additional items to consider such as the cruise director always letting people know there was something happening and asking them to join. That realization really gave me a perspective I had not considered. Thank you. As to those who express a concern about diversity in cruising, I would ask why do they cruise? For me personally, it is because I enjoy experiencing other cultures around the world. In my opinion, having a diverse crew and diverse cross section of passengers only enhances my cultural experience because I get to share my experience with people of different cultures and understand a bit more about their perspective from that experience.
Thank you Larry for putting into words what I was feeling about the diversity of cruising. I always come away from cruises with the feeling that I got something more than just a vacation because of the people I have met on the ships.
Perfectly stated 🤗 Carnival was my first cruise back in 1998 and has been my choice for fun since. Great crews and staff, excellent service and I love the diversity on board. It's why I cruise Carnival and love how it has opened my world culturally to mankind.
I agree 100%. Some people feel most comfortable with people "just like them." I get that but actually the most fun I've had on cruises were with people not "just like me."
Hey Tony, We have sailed since the 90's on many of the cruise lines. Since the pandemic the people's behavior is more letting loose and less relaxing on Carnival. I must say, their staff called us by name and were very polite to two old people. I went to the desk, stood in a long line and complimented the staff on how good the service was. Did a cruise on MSC right after and even though the vibe was more relaxed, the staff was cold and rude and our cabin reeked. So can't judge a book by its cover.
Thank you for your MSC comment. My wife and I are Travel Agents and we have tried MSC several times over the past 10 years and have always found the crew cold and VERY rude, especially in the dining rooms. We have kept trying to see if there is any improvement. Sadly, there hasn’t been any. It’s the one cruise line I can never recommend to a client.
@@oldtdjr I went on an MSC cruise in November out of Southampton. Crew were fantastic. Ship was beautiful and sparkling clean. Food was ok - not fantastic. Entertainment was top notch and for the size of the ensembles better talent than several Oceania and a Regent cruise I have been on. Just my limited experience with MSC. I will definitely try them again. Oh and the price was right!
Carnival cruisers should want to have fun, but I think there is room for all types of people. I don’t particularly want to be on a ship with lots of kids, what do I do? I go to the Serenity Deck or the spa. I think everyone should dress up for formal night in the dining room, but if you don’t, I’m not going to let it bother me. I am on a cruise to be with my husband so if I think there are people acting like they have no class, I will move to a different place. A cruise is what you make it. If you are constantly worried about everybody else and what they are or are not doing, according to your standards, you probably won’t be happy on any cruise line.
Great insight….I find those who criticize Carnival often have never even sailed on one of their ships. They have formed an opinion based only on the comments of others and I think that’s unfortunate. I have been cruising for 30 plus years and think all the mainstream lines have more in common than are different….in other words I’ve had good (and not so good) cruises on all of them. I think your next list should be on Virgin Voyages….another perhaps “misunderstood” line.
So glad i watched this, I have booked my very first cruise in my life for me and my family. And after I did somebody made a really bad comments about carnival and had me worried but after your video y feel much better and I will make the best of our first cruise !! 🎉
I cruised on Carnival Vista with my family and we all (20 of us, 11 being children) had a wonderful time! We stayed in the Family Harbor cabins that have two bathrooms, we used the Family Harbor Lounge often and had 24/7 access to milk for the baby’s bottle and delicious sandwiches and cookies for all of us at convenient times. The kids loved the various activities designed for them and also spent hours on the pool slides. We didn’t see any rude guests or drunkenness, just people having a good vacation. I think you and your family will be very happy!
Tony, once again a good segment. I think you hit the nail on the head. As I have aged a bit I must say the appeal of Carnival has definitely faded for several reasons. What has continued to draw me to Carnival is the ease of driving to a departure port, their schedule as it falls in line with family vacations and obviously the cost. I love the fact that I can drive along the east coast and catch a cruise from so many ports for 4 or 5 days or longer. I wish Princess and Holland America had a ship in the Caribbean year round as the family only has a small window in late July or early August that we can all sail together. And I must mention that I will miss leaving out of Charleston but Norfolk is actually closer.
It’s not a question of class, it’s a question of simple manners and courtesy…they are either there,or they aren’t! If manners and courtesy are there, that’s all it takes!!😊
@@thomasallen6980 Not true across the board. But some cruise lines do seem to have that bad reputation. I think it starts with one crucial change regarding alcohol service. Stopping the over service of alcohol could solve 90% of these issues that end up being shown here on TH-cam. It seems there's always alcohol involved in these troubles. Unlimited alcohol packages encourage people to drink way more than they ever would at a bar, restaurant or nightclub on land.
@@leskocruising OK not unlimited but answer this question for me: Who needs 15 alcoholic drinks per day? Only 2 answers come to mind for me. Someone whose going to get really sick or worse or someone who should be a Friend Of Bill W. Either way I don't want them sitting next to me at the pool, during meals, during shows, or listening to them barf in the cabin next to mine. I don't want to get into the middle of two drunk groups of idiots fighting in common areas of the ship. I don't want to have to step over passed out teenagers or at least not yet 21s in stairwells. Some of these cruise lines over serve alcohol quite often to life threatening levels and it seems to me it's always the usual suspects.
@@christianoliver3572 please do research on the other cruise lines and their alcohol limits… you might be shocked what you find. All cruise ships have issues… I don’t go out trashing other cruise ships( and I certainly could) just bc I choose not to sail with them.
@@leskocruising I agree but it's not at the same level. I've seen a bride literally pass out into her tunnel of fudge cake on a Transatlantic Crossing on QM2 the first dinner service and they were too embarrassed, I think, to dine in that location for the rest of the cruise. I don't have a problem with folks having a good time but too often it seems to me that things get out of control way too fast. Maybe it's just because ships are getting so huge now that they're harder to 'police' and I admit that I'm pointing out a problem but quite honestly not a solution.
This video is awesome and I love how you get to the point instead of screwing around with words just to stretch the video out ! You gained a subscriber 💜
Hands down my favorite cruise list EVER! And thanks for sticking up for Carnival and those who enjoy it. We are not partiers, and still love cruising on Carnival. I think most of its “bad rap” comes from people who have never even sailed on Carnival.
Because of convenience I have cruised Carnival for my last 4 cruises. I haven't seen anyone behave badly and when I hang out with the smokers some of the friendliest people. The worst I have dealt with is a couple of control freaks.
Carnival allows 15 drinks PER DAY and brand themselves the “fun line”. Tell me that doesn’t scream booze fests. I can’t do more than 2/3 drinks. How anyone does 15 per day blows my mind. They should probably go seek help for their alcoholism.
I love to cruise on Carnival. Thank you Tony for taking time to discuss this topic. I can't wait to hear your thoughts about Royal, Celebrity and Holland America!
Mid 60's cruiser here, and we love Carnival. The food, the excitement, the people, the cruise director's (Matt please come back), the overall atmosphere. We cruised on the Celebration earlier this year and loved the new ship design. We have our first back to back cruises booked on the Vista, we cant wait! I recommend Carnival to all my friends. We aren't partiers but feel there is something for everyone on a Carnival cruise.
Tony, i appreciate your video as always. As a black 40 something male, i do have something to say/add about this. You say Carnival is more inclusive, but I dont believe that is by choice or marketing of the cruise line. Carnival, in general has lower/more competitive pricing than most other lines. People of color, bc of a bunch of issues historically in the US, occupy more of the lower income brackets, so they will want to have a good time like everyone else, but will want to stretch their dollars as far as they will go. So more POC (People of Color) will go to Carnival for that reason, and have a great time doing it. If they had the resources, they’d like to cruise on Royal, Princess and Disney too. I have a lot of folks in my family who like to cruise. Some are in lower income brackets, so they cruise on Carnival more than any other line, but some of my family (myself included) have more means and cruise on other cruise lines more often too. We all came from that lower income bracket tho, so we all can relate. I just wanted to put that out there for folks Tony. It’s not necessarily a choice of Carnival over other cruise lines for lots of POC, it’s the choice that makes the most financial sense for them.
You are spot on, As struggling college student my Wife and I took several Carnival cruises. After getting her masters degree in nursing and me a MBA. We have went on more expensive cruises, like Disney, Princess, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian. As Black people we like ships that are diverse but because we have more money we go on more expensive ships. This is about income. Since most Black people have been oppressed in our country, we all know that white people have more money and income. I seen a lot of poor white people on Carnival.
@@bkeith1998”as a struggling college student I took cruises” weren’t struggling to much were you? “Most white people have more money and income” While you were being so oppressed struggling in college taking cruises most white people I know couldn’t dream of taking a cruise no matter what cruise line it was on. It took most of us well into our 30-40 to even dream of doing such a thing….. but hey that’s the life of not being “oppressed” and “having more money and income”
I'm black and I agree and disagree... black people will spend money on what they want so I don't like being put in the "poor" box that your putting us is...although the statistics support your point we will spend. Second I will give credit to carnival as it being a decision they made to make their cruises more accessible...carnival could easily change a few things and put there pricing on par with other cruise lines...so do give them credit for that. Thanks
My first cruise was Disney when my daughter was little. Second and third were Carnival with my elderly) mobility challenged parents. I'm booked on Royal next, just to try something different. Im sure each ship, line and cruise are going to be a little different!
Ive met people of all classes on carnival, from gang members (chill as hell my cruise partners in "crime"), to lawyer and judges to CEOs. And guess what we all had an awesome time chopping it up together enjoying our time together. Its a beautiful thing really. For reference I'm a average 27 year old white guy and made friends with a 60 something year old retired NYC police officer who just happened to be asian. Coolest guy ever he gave me a boujee ass cigar. The melting pot of carnival is beautiful in my opinion. We are all one race, the human race. See ya on the Lido ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍
According to my Carnival Hub App, I am 41 days away from my next cruise on the Breeze, my favorite ship, and after watching this video I'm looking forward to it even more! Thank you, Tony, for your grace- and wisdom-filled insight on the racial issue. Not to mention courageous. Bless you.
Well said Tony! All of it! Having done trunk shows on more than 30 ships across 11 unique cruise lines, I couldn’t agree more. Prior to my first Carnival experience, I had heard it all, only to realize I absolutely loved my time onboard their ships and the people I met. And yes, I’ve been on Regent and Silver Seas, so I know what the spectrum looks like. Anyways, guess what I’m trying to say is, great content! You always keep it real. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for this video! I am close to becoming Diamond on Carnival. I was on their very first cruise on the Mardi Gras when we got stuck and the bar opened up. I love Carnival thats why I own stock in the company.
Thank you for this honest video… June 3 we are headed out on a 7 day Mardi Gras cruise with carnival. Our 3rd cruise all of which have been on Carnival. We are in our mid 50’s and absolutely love it. Thought about trying other cruise lines but at little scared to venture out. All our past cruises have been GREAT!!!
I am a 70yr old been cruising with carnival since 1988 have watched this company become the world largest. I LOVE! the brand as a whole . Carnival wants everyone to be able experience cruising . If I want fun ! its there piece and quiet there as well! To be very! honest the last short cruise out of Miami celebrating 50 yrs anniversary was a bit much for me . The 18 others has been Great! I am booked out until 2026 2 week full Panama Canal cruise .Great! price balcony. Thank you. Tony.
Your comments about word usage I found interesting. There are words that are used by one race to each other that other races can not use. If we are keeping this real.
Very well stated Tony ! We were cruising last week and missed your videos …… getting caught up today. We’ve done and enjoyed ALL (even Carnival) of the major cruise lines
You nailed it, after RCL left LA, we started with Carnival, mostly 4 day cruises and became disenchanted with cruising. For 10 years we stayed kept going. Royal came back and what a relief we love Royal. 🎉🎉🎉 We just aren't Carnival party people.
It is common knowledge that Carnival is the 'Wal-Mart of the Cruise Industry'. If you are a person who shops at Wal-Mart, you will feel right at home on Carnival.
I would have no problem booking a seven night or longer cruise on Carnival when school is in session. A three nighter during spring break, not so much.
We were fine with Carnival for our first 5 or so cruises until a cruise out of Florida left a sour taste in our mouths. (drunks, kids knocking on doors, bluetooth bass tubes, some people trying to fight us, all on the same cruise) We then tried Celebrity and Holland America and we consider ourselves spoiled now. We are usually much younger than lots of those around us but we prefer the other lines now. I wouldn't say I would never sail with Carnival again, it's just not for me I guess.
So agree! 1st cruise Holland America and then Norwegian. Went on Royal Caribbean in Jan. and it was not our jam. We are old souls and want a relaxed and quiet vibe!
We used to love causing on Carnival. After several years of not taking a Carnival cruise, we took one this spring. The food and entertainment were both a huge disappointment. Never again!
Tony, I appreciate you standing up and saying the things that need to be said. I'm sure it can be hard, but as you do it time and again, I realize that it is who you are and it makes your videos must watch for me.
I cruised Carnival twice and didn’t like all the silliness and had issues with very drunk obnoxious people ( all NOT POC) also not a fan of all the little kids. So for me it is the more laid back cruises with interesting itineraries. To each his own!
Tony, well done taking a somewhat light topic and pointing out one of the most challenging topics of our society, race. You handled this with grace and humanity! As for your question, I would love your perspective on Norwegian ( an admitted fan here).
I love my CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE.. CRUISE SHIP HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SOME OF THE FOOLS THAT GET ON BOARD... THERE ARE FOOLS EVERYWHERE NOT MATTER WHAT CRUISE LINE YOU GET ON
I have never sailed on Carnival but I’ve been invited to sail Carnival, many times. If I sail Carnival, it will be the three new ships and has nothing to do with carnival itself but the fact that I like newer, larger ships. My thoughts on cruise lines is that people should cruise whatever line they like and not worry about others. It seems to be a “mine is better than yours” argument to somehow verify that you made the right choice and thus are smarter then others. Seems like a lot of insecure people that seem to worry about things that have no effect on them.
Well said Tony. My wife and I are Diamonds with Carnival, cruising since the late 1990's and have seen many changes and personalities with the different cruise lines.
Okay, I may get slammed for this, but we just got off the Wonder of the Seas, and most of those Reasons Not to Sail Carnival apply to our RCCL cruise. We did not eat in the main dining room, but several of the fancy specialty restaurants did not have table clothes....and these are meals you are paying $50+ for! The dress of the cruisers was all over the place. Lots of announcements. And this by far was the most diverse cruise population we've ever sailed with. It was not when school was out, but there were plenty of the under 5 years old crowd also.
My favorite video!! I have sailed celebrity, royal Caribbean, ncl, and carnival. I prefer carnival as it is relaxed, tons of fun if you want to participate and the food is decent. That is all I need on a cruise vacation
Tony you left one out. Do not cruise Carnival if you do not want to have your dinner interrupted by the loud Maitre' D and the even louder singing waiters on Carnival. It is so annoying when you are trying to have a conversation with your fellow guests and you cannot talk over the loudness. Sometimes it might be ok but generally it is so loud we find it very annoying since it happens most every night.
Another group that should not go on Carnival: people with autism. I know, they advertise that they are autism friendly, but our experience was this was not the case, at least after 10am. At that point, every public part of the ship had the mics turned all the way up, and we were essentially banished to our stateroom, even with ear protectors. We will not be sailing with them again.
Was on the fence about Carnival post-Covid but tried Mardi Gras in March. It was awesome. A great ship and a great time. Doing Celebration in June. I will definitely look at Jubilee but can’t see going below the Excel Class now.
Gosh darn it! This is the best video as of yet, and I have been watching you for a very long time. This needed to be said! I’m forever a Carnival loyalist.
No need for negative. There are many brands and types to cruise on. You do you! I prefer Princess, but I know of many Princess haters - I do me, you do you!
The main reason I wouldn't do a Carnival Cruise is I am hearing-impaired. I have tinnitus and can't handle prolonged loud noises. Live entertainment (especially bands) is definitely out (unless it's a string quartet, chamber music or similar) and I wouldn't be able to converse with anyone unless it's quiet as a library.
Bottom line according to this video - Carnival is a "dirty sneaker" cruise line catering to the slob set. If you like the Golden Corral you'll love the Carnival experience. Unfortunately when you offer cruise fares so low they're not believable you attract the slobs, drunks, fighters, pot smokers and generally poorly mannered people. There have been more than enough examples in story and video form to back all of this up. Avoid Carnival if you want a pleasant vacation devoid of ridiculous drama and poor behavior. Think Walmart of the Sea. Tony was simply trying to be diplomatic in a rather soft explanation of why not to cruise Carnival.
Just did my first and last Carnival cruise on the Horizon. The pot smokers were in full force before we even left Miami, and we couldn’t even enjoy coffee on our balcony in the mornings due to the smell. Drunks everywhere and don’t get me started on the attire of some of the guests.
Carnival is our favorite and yes we're old people 😁 we're really not fan's of formal night . We loved it when we started cruising many many many years ago 😀
Interesting observations, Tony. I'm retired and cruise regularly (approximately 8X / year) on both Carnival and Holland America.. Most of my cruises are longer than 7 days, so I might not experience the same hard-partying atmosphere as on some of the shorter cruises. However, there is definitely a distinct difference in the typical passenger demographic between HAL and Carnival. As you have sailed both, your opinions on Holland America would be interesting. Thanks for being brave enough to tackle a sensitive subject like diversity on your channel!
I applaud you for openly discussing topics that are often avoided in attempt to keep subscribers. Carnival does host really busy sail away parties and unfortunately for that brief 15mins viewers will make a negative assumption about the entire voyage and the entire carnival line. I will try other lines. I’m sure I will find pros and cons for each. Unfortunately it’s always been a war of separating people by race and a class system. To those that think they are too classy to mingle then they should sail on their Yachts privately. The need to separate will not go away unfortunately. I do respect you for addressing it.
Love your candor❤. I just want to be entertained, have fun and a few good meals. If the excitement becomes too much for me, I can retreat to the solace of my balcony but I do love Carnival. Booked on the Venezia from my hometown this August and I can’t wait! Thanks again for doing what you do!
❤ Thanks Tony I agree 💯 Especially about Carnival and the unpretentious atmosphere aboard. We cruised on Carnival last September and booked another for this October with my niece's family who loves Carnival ❤️ I love just being able to relax on vacation and not worry about being a fashion bug or being concerned about what pretentious folks think. Carnival is fun and I love the dancing waiters 😊
You said it this is why I never will cruise on carnival ever again 20 years ago was one and done for me you missed the most important one though they count your drinks And about the class you can’t teach class you can have good manners regardless of where you come from i don’t judge people but manners are what does it for me that’s what carnival lacks

Larry, you set out an opinion held by many of us. Carnival is great and the diversity of its passengers is welcoming.
👏 👏 👏 well said!!
Any interesting show today & as always ur opinion is appreciated. I thank you Tony ..
Hey Tony,
We have sailed since the 90's
on many of the cruise lines.
I really think the carnival staff is what makes their cruise line so special!
Good video Tony. I hit 3 of those 5 so I think I’ll stay with Princess.
@@janettemanderson7304 thank you so much! I’m back to be excited again. 🤩
Thank you Tony for this video. We love Carnival and so do our friends and family.
@@christianoliver3572 there is no unlimited alcohol package on Carnival. It is 15 drinks per day… period! Regardless how you pay for them.
@@leskocruising OK not unlimited but answer this question for me:
Who needs 15 alcoholic drinks per day?
I think you are right!
Agreed!!!!
Your commentary is much appreciated, Tony!
Right on. Very well said.
Well said. I think all too often people gloss over this fact.
“Most white people have more money and income”
While you were being so oppressed struggling in college taking cruises most white people I know couldn’t dream of taking a cruise no matter what cruise line it was on.
Thanks
great video Tony
My first cruise was Disney when my daughter was little. Second and third were Carnival with my elderly) mobility challenged parents. I'm booked on Royal next, just to try something different. Im sure each ship, line and cruise are going to be a little different!
Thank u,. All lines have their ups/downs,. Luv them all👍😊
Ive met people of all classes on carnival, from gang members (chill as hell my cruise partners in "crime"), to lawyer and judges to CEOs.
Bless you.
43 days from my favorite, Horizon!
Enjoy,. Luv them👍😊
Well said Tony!
Bravo! Your most insightful segment so far.
I’ll be on this sailing as well. 2nd time on the Mardi Gras, it’s a great ship!
Thank you. Tony.
Sticking with Royal. I like to book as many specialty restaurants as possible on every cruise as I adore tablecloths.
Your comments about word usage I found interesting. There are words that are used by one race to each other that other races can not use. If we are keeping this real.
You are such a good commentator on cruising
Very well stated Tony ! We were cruising last week and missed your videos …… getting caught up today. We’ve done and enjoyed ALL (even Carnival) of the major cruise lines
Thanks Tony for setting it straight.😊
i agree
Thanks for this video! Please consider creating videos for Princess, Celebrity, and Norwegian cruise lines as well.
You nailed it, after RCL left LA, we started with Carnival, mostly 4 day cruises and became disenchanted with cruising. For 10 years we stayed kept going. Royal came back and what a relief we love Royal. 🎉🎉🎉 We just aren't Carnival party people.
RC was great experience
Great show Tony! You hit the nail right on the head.
I'm 65 and Cruised numerous lines and Carnival is still my favorite hands down. I've never encountered a negative experience.
Ditto! Still my favorite❤
Excellent break down and so spot on
It is common knowledge that Carnival is the 'Wal-Mart of the Cruise Industry'. If you are a person who shops at Wal-Mart, you will feel right at home on Carnival.
This is the best way to explain it. Thanks
I would have no problem booking a seven night or longer cruise on Carnival when school is in session. A three nighter during spring break, not so much.
You are right. People have different views on what they want on a cruise.
Thank you for this important show Tony. All of this needs to be said nice and loud. More please.
Carnival was great in my younger years and I became platinum with them BUT their are simply better choices out there for not to much more money.
We used to love causing on Carnival. After several years of not taking a Carnival cruise, we took one this spring. The food and entertainment were both a huge disappointment. Never again!
I love this!!! That’s why I love Carnival 💗💗💗 it’s so much FUN and it’s not SNOBBY🙌🙌🙌💗💗💗💗💗
I would also love his take on NCL.
Wow what a great video. I love your honesty & lesson to others 😊 I’ll be choosing Carnival for my first cruise!
I love my CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE.. CRUISE SHIP HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SOME OF THE FOOLS THAT GET ON BOARD... THERE ARE FOOLS EVERYWHERE NOT MATTER WHAT CRUISE LINE YOU GET ON
Thanks Tony for your very accurate commentary on race and cruising...Bravo brother!
Loved this video, appreciate your thoughts and stance. Virgin next, please and thank you!
Well said Tony. My wife and I are Diamonds with Carnival, cruising since the late 1990's and have seen many changes and personalities with the different cruise lines.
Great video, Tony! Loved the “Struggle Bus” 🚢🚢🚢. Can’t wait for your next video…
Awesome video Tony, I personally have only been on Carnival ships and love it. 29 days till my next Cruise outta Galv. 👍👍👍
Such a fascinating conversation! I'm looking forward to the others that follow. Yep - I'm a table cloth lover!
I love carnival never had a bad experience and have been on a decent amount of carnival cruises
Loved Mardi Gras Nov 2022 and doing Celebration June 17, 2023(3 more weeks). Already booked Jubilee for Nov 2024😎
@@georgediaz8501 we’re on Celebration the week after.
Thanks Tony! Great comments! 💯
I think you can enjoy cloth table cloths, adults, dressing up, lack of constant announcements etc without being judgmental 6:44 6:44 or classist.
Respect Tony! I love the way you explain this!
You nailed it Tony!! As a matter of fact those can apply to all cruise lines 😊
I primarily cruise on NCL. But this breakdown just makes me want to check out Carnival...ay least once. So they'll be on my list for future cruises!
Thank you Tony! Best description of Carnival yet!
Exactly.
I love Golden Corral! Probably my favorite place to eat.
I totally disagree. And I see people from all walks of life eating at Golden Corral and Walmart
Great video Tony! I think you are on point in you message.
Although Carnival’s not my speed, I say Bravo Tony 👏
Carnival is our favorite and yes we're old people 😁 we're really not fan's of formal night . We loved it when we started cruising many many many years ago 😀
I've sailed on "the big 3" and the only CDs I remember are the ones on Carnival! They're the best.
This is a fantastic video Tony!
Carnival is the fun ship's. I have met great people from all walks of life, black, white and Asian.
You said it this is why I never will cruise on carnival ever again 20 years ago was one and done for me you missed the most important one though they count your drinks
And about the class you can’t teach class you can have good manners regardless of where you come from i don’t judge people but manners are what does it for me that’s what carnival lacks
