Since i am from a family with army background my three uncles were in J&k special operations groups i heard from him that Gurkhas and Naga soldiers of Indian army climbes buildings.hills . mountains faster than monkeys .He told me these gurkha soldiers are so humble .gentle .always charming .Dancing playing music singing but during operations in a serious firefight they used to laugh crack jokes while bullets were flying .He told me that in certain counter insurgency operations the gurkhas used to sneak into terrorist camps and cut throats of terrorists while they were sleeping just like we see in Hollywood movies..He served in kargil war he eyewitnessed 5/4 .5/2 short gurkhas jumping on a 6/2 .6/4 enemies and cutting heads with one strike by their khukri.Heads of enemy were rolling over the snow .The enemies were so shocked and scared they ran towards their base camp .He said they are so stylish.Never heard any gurkhas giving galis .abusive words...we owe a lot to our gurkha brothers .The elite of elites fighting machines .grand salute to them .jay Gurkhas .Jay Hind .❤❤❤❤❤

No indian Gorkha still join Indian army it's just that Nepalese govt and Imdian govt are having some negotiations regarding recruitment from Nepal .
As a teacher, I can confirm. Many of my students are Gurkhas from Army background. After Agniveer, they don’t want to join.

The British Gurkhas are soldiers from Nepal. They are recruited from the hill regions of Nepal, and after selection, they serve in the British Army. The recruitment of Nepali soldiers into the British Army has been a tradition since the early 19th century, following the Anglo-Nepalese War.
The Gurkhas have been an integral part of the British Army, known for their bravery, loyalty, and discipline. They have served in numerous conflicts and peacekeeping missions around the world, and their contributions have been highly valued. Even today, British Gurkhas continue to be recruited from Nepal and serve under the same terms and conditions as other British soldiers.
Just say that the old name of nepal is kingdom of gorkha which was changed into Nepal after conquering kathmandu valley(Nepal valley)and shifting the capital to kathmandu.
It will be alot easier for them to understand that way.

Since i am from a family with army background my three uncles were in J&k special operations groups i heard from him that Gurkhas and Naga soldiers of Indian army climbes buildings.hills . mountains faster than monkeys .He told me these gurkha soldiers are so humble .gentle .always charming .Dancing playing music singing but during operations in a serious firefight they used to laugh crack jokes while bullets were flying .He told me that in certain counter insurgency operations the gurkhas used to sneak into terrorist camps and cut throats of terrorists while they were sleeping just like we see in Hollywood movies..He served in kargil war he eyewitnessed 5/4 .5/2 short gurkhas jumping on a 6/2 .6/4 enemies and cutting heads with one strike by their khukri.Heads of enemy were rolling over the snow .The enemies were so shocked and scared they ran towards their base camp .He said they are so stylish.Never heard any gurkhas giving galis .abusive words...we owe a lot to our gurkha brothers .The elite of elites fighting machines .grand salute to them .jay Gurkhas .Jay Hind .❤❤❤❤❤
