They’re both fantastic singers. Espen Lind got very popular with his “When Susannah Cries” song among others ❤

Glad you liked this that much. I keep returning to this one, the harmonies and the voices are soo good.
Her catalog is huge, as in colossal, she has done a lot in almost 4 decades as a professional artist. She has done duets with all the famous tenors, been all over the planet. She is very versatile - gospel, country, jazz, classic arias, pop, rap, Irish folk, you name it. Her Christmas album from 2009 sold to 11 platinas in Norway. Youngest knighted in Norway, so far.

Sissel Kyrkjebø is Norway's national treasure. Take a look at the closing ceremony of Albertville Olympics in -92 where she introduced Lillehammer Olympics of -94, hymning while riding a polar bear made of ice - epic. Also you should react to "Pie Jesu" live from the channel "Sisselfan", it's hair risingly (is that a word? 😅) beautiful and really shows off her voice.
Espen Lind is formerly known as Sway and is one of the judges of The voice Norway (you saw him in the reaction of my request with Jørgen Dahl Moe, dancing in the dark) 😊 looks a bit more boybandy here though 😅

Ooh right! I remember his face now 😄.
We all need to go through our boy band phase i guess 😅

Haven’t heard this for a long long time. Remember this was a hit in Norway way back in 2001.
Check out ‘Eg veit i himmerik ei borg’ from the album Innerst i sjelen (Deep within my soul)

By the way…did you know that Sissel was the one humming on the soundtrack to the Titanic movie. It may sound like Celine Dion but it is in fact Sissel.

Not familiar with them at all, but see how much I'm learning from you and appreciating new artists and songs.Thank you for that. Her voice is like an angel and their harmonies are very tight. Beautiful song.😊

This is Siss in the 90s after she's shed her angelic goody-two-shoes image. Note the starkness of the new Sissel... cropped hair, little makeup, bland attire. And all that blatant sensuality really isn't her. She's much more subtle throughout her career. This is a road she didn't go down, thankfully.

I prefer the pure, more angelic persona 1000 times more than this. Her voice was better as an “angel” too.
I feel the same way about Angelina Jordan’s (another Norwegian phenomenon) younger persona compared to her current direction.
