Great video! Great job on your Dyna, it looks and sounds beautiful! Much respect to a talented and very knowledgeable mechanic. He not only knows the wrenching but knows the textbooks just as well. George must be the best considering he works at Moroney's which is in New Windsor NY (I bought my 2020 Heritage Classic at Moroney's) and he was a guest mechanic in New England & rated the best in New England. Much respect!
This bike is as good as it gets. Sounds great, looks great. And I love that gauge cluster. I got alot of respect for you Kaplan. And I can't wait until I visit the New England Motorcycle Museum.
Hi guys, not only is George an absolute engine wizard, he's also a Harley enciclopedia/genius. I'd love to have seen the whole engine rebuild. Boy she really picks up her skirt when you pour oil on the coals. Effortless acceleration WOW Awesome video guys. 😎😀😀😀
I swapped out the chain drive over to s&s gear drive at Ron Simms on my 2000 flhtc. 35000 miles later I have had 0 issues. They used timkin barings. Thanks again Ron and Mat.
What a great video. Listen to that motor gorgeous. George's knowledge is encyclopedic. Ken loves his Dynas for sure. I learned so much about the twin cam
very cool,a cvo"cvo"...never knew hd made an fxdx cvo,i had a '99 fxdx TC88 and always liked the performance differences between it and the regular fxd's...lol ken so excited george can barely finish a sentence.i can remember sitting in traffic in summertime, that rear cylinder would practically cook my right thigh
Nice Ken, Love everything about that bike. Gauges are sweet, Ride is nice. Pulls like freight train. All the best my friend. All that motor talk brings me back in time...
Another excellent video gentlemen. That CVO looks and sounds great. After the break in it will be a screamer! Congrats on the engine build - it should make a big difference. When are you adding the shocks? Scott
If you split the cases and true, pro-plug and weld the crank you can then get serious power by replacing those cylinders with a 117" kit. Then you need to get the heads ported and fit big chunky cams, with a bigger inlet you can get that bike up 140bhp and torque !
I tell you what man that's a prime example of the best of the best right there that good brother can throw down when it comes to building Harley Motors that thing sharp as fuck man have a good one Kaplan America👍👍👍👍👊👊👊👊
When I worked at Precision Harley for a number of years I did most of these same mods to a customers cvo dyna like this, I begged him to put a thunderheader on it, the guy ends up wanting and demanded a $100 set of cycle shack drag pipes. SMDH
I could listen to George all day. He needs his own TV show.
nobody ever stops learning. even the kaptain. lots of valuable information from this guy.
