I got my MacBook Pro 16 inch M4 one week ago and it is amazing in every respect. Completely stunning machine with blistering speed and it just sips power.
I've been running my M4 Pro Macbook as a daily driver since release day. Great purchase, unlike most expensive things I buy, I haven't had a single bit of buyer's remorse. Even as a lifelong windows user.
I upgraded from a 13" M1 MacBook Air 16gb to a 14" M4 Pro 24gb/512gb just for the ability to display 2 external monitors. I don't need more drive space as I use dropbox and iCloud but I did want more memory and the cost of going from the M4 32gb to the M4 Pro 24gb was equal so I figured the M4 Pro architecture was better for the same price.

Is the nano texture looks crisp and sharp? I really need to know cuz I am a logo designer and need the extra sharpness, if it is not noticeable then will go the nano one! Anyone can tell me?

But the hardware, if the games existed, would cut it. So yes Greg, you are right. You have a gaming laptop, that's just truth. Just wish you could use it as such a lot more
In the video settings , you can change the langauge you prefer. By default the language is set to your country language. This is new feature of youtube
Bought a base m4 14 inch MacBook Pro(had an intel 15 inch before) on sale for personal use and since I’m not going to use all the time was tempted to get a m4 pro but don’t need all that horsepower and I mainly use a 16 inch m2 pro for work 😅

Do you know how to get the data in iMessages on the iPad to stop going up? I'm not even using it and the data keeps going up. Does this happen to you? I noticed it after the iPadOS 18 update. It happened before on my first gen iPad mini. If this keeps up, so much for getting a Mac.
Unlikey the Pro Macs will get a major upgrade until Apple has their own 5G chips and WiFi chips fully checked out . If the SE iPhone uses Apple Silicon for 5G cellular and it proves to work then that opens the Pros to have 5G connectivity. Maybe even with Apple 5G service (Another service revenue stream for Tim). The convergence of more connectivity with Apple's own silicon opens open a chassis as well an OLED screen upgrade. It may not be in 2025 but no later than fall 2026.
That would be awesome! That would solve so many issues, including MBP users that are still students, working from anywhere without needing a phone or hotspot would be surreal. Sure hope that you're assumption is correct!
Im planning on upgrading, as I have an M1 macbook air, its a 256gb model and its not even halfway full! Unless you wanna do video editing the 512 is more than enough.

@ I absolutely recommend getting external SSDs for MacBook content creation or any other large storage requirement task. Apple’s premium on storage is insane, so I absolutely recommend using 2 external 512 gb ssds.

More SSD for me personally
More RAM, just get a fast external drive for those files that you don't need to travel with you.
You'll notice more SSD all the time. You'll only notice more RAM if you actually have use for it. 24 GB is the base RAM, so it's not like it's gimped.
