I honestly just wished that every single time a new deathknight appeared he would have just said “welcome to the bat cave team thing man, appreciate the support”
5:05 i dont know if you took this specific card out for a reason, but the one copy of blackwald pixie we played in this deck last expansion was exactly for this purpose, if you always use the pandas first, you can go hero power>pixie>hero power>zola on the third turn to get two chances at the coinflip. it made it much more consistent to finish the combo on the 4th turn of your dk edit: if you're ever in the scenario where you have one horseman in your hand, and for some reason your opponent can't remove a different horseman off the board, pixie allows you to instantly win, even on the third turn of your dk. it comes up more often than you'd think
You gotta suggest what to cut if you're to suggest something to put in, I agree about the pixie but the comment would be miles more useful and worthwhile if you just suggested what to cut too
@@SerechII probably 1x spikeridged steed? you'd still have more than enough mana worth of spells for shirvallah. if not that, then probably something less useful like 1x righteous protector. hard to find cards you'd be willing to cut in this list though, unlike last expansion's version
someone just commented and deleted their comment saying basically "dont you need 4 mana to play the horsemen from your hand and 7 more for pixie combo?" while i was talking about just getting the third horseman in your hand, it IS possible to win with only two in your hand if you go second. obviously, this isnt a consistent winning strategy, but in games where you happen to go second and dont feel the need to use your coin, you are rewarded the luxury of comboing one turn early
Actually, that wasn't fully dependent on RNG, honestly. Firebat did a smart smart and pressured Allie's actual life total, making her unable to rely on the 50/50 otherwise she'd die anyways, giving Firebat more chance to roll the 50/50 for a win. So it did still have some right decision making there :P
@@tim1259 He could've played just like her, all timid and caring for handsize, FireBat went all out and won because of it, don't try to down play the game strategy when you don't even understand it

Was the order at 3:41 wrong? If he played Lynessa first he would draw one less card, which would have the same effect but without burning one. He didn't have Uther or Zola in his hand at the time, so the question is: is it worth thinning your deck by 1 extra card with the XX% chance that you burn part of your combo? I feel like this isn't the question he was asking himself and he was just drawing more out of desperation to win the race, and I feel like the risk wasn't worth it. Of course, Firebat is a lot better than me and I could be totally wrong on this.
It‘s a mirror matchup and the first person to play uther will most likely win since they can start to set up their combo. It‘s a risk you will have to Take to increase your odds for winning.
I predicted this deck would be a meta defining deck when time out was first revealed... Everyone else was talking about Sharvalla OTK, but I knew the brewmaster one would be viable now cuz of Time Out. Damn. That's gratifying.
Whenever people stop smorcing because druid is gone and play some actual good decks like them priests or rouges it's gonna be a deck, pretty sure it's not gonna survive the meta settling down tho
Unrelated but I wish they would add new classes to hearthstone, similar to WoW. Monk, Demon hunter and death knight. It would be cool to see a few new classes with different play styles.
This match shows exactly why I don't like to play the deck anymore. I really liked it the last two expansions, but now the deck is actually good - and that's bad. The deck being good means that mirror matches are so much more common and like Firebat mentioned, they are just really stupid. Who draws Uther first and if draw similarly fast, who lowrolls his Horsemen. Boooooring!
Tilmann Giese I dislike time out personally, it’s a bit puzzling to me why they would take out ice block then add another similarly non interactive card (it’s actually worse because its immune to chief inspector)
@@cameronmiller6240 Time Out is way inferior to Ice Block. Its not a long-term investment of 3 mana, you have to play it when you think it's right. The player actually has to THINK when to use it. Also, he needs something to back up his invulnerability. Playing a Timeout with nothing else to do later is just delaying the inevitable
Mr Copycat I respectfully disagree, although you are right that time out encourages more skill in timing the spell (because there would be no point when you have board control against most decks) the fact that a) it renders you completely immune (so an opponent can’t set you to one health and drastically limit your options for subsequent turns) and (as I mentioned earlier) the spell cannot be countered once played (rendering your opponent completely powerless) makes it, in my opinion stronger than ice block.
Yes, because the OTK doesn't deal damage, it just destroys the hero. Immune is an ability that prevents characters from receiving any damage, and prevents the opponent from specifically targeting them with any type of action. However, it does not prevent destroy, restore Health, or other non-damaging effects on Immune characters, which can still be affected by randomly or automatically targeted effects, including area of effect. - Hearthstone wiki hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Immune
