An empty factory in Little Tokyo, which is just steps from Los Angeles' Skid Row, is set to be transformed into affordable housing. Jeff Nguyen reports.
Yes little Tokyo is flooding with homeless people. I've been out of LA for while but everytime I fly , I go to little Tokyo it sadness me to see it. With the rising cost of rent being over 40% country wide we are going to see this more. I've seen nurse's living in vans working 60 70 hours and still can not afford the rent. People are living 10 in a 1 bedroom apartment.
Yeah incredible history I hope it works I hope it benefits the homeless people in the community I hope it changes things there’s so many buildings on skid row that could be turned into affordable housing treatment programs mental health programs down there it’s 54 square blocks of Skid Row LA I lost everything in 2019 now I’m in Orange County trying to regroup and hopefully someDay to move back the way California’s going it’s gonna be a sanctuary city for your drug cartels druggies it’s just bad
