The reference to the cinematic from Warcraft 3 in which Arthas enters the throne room to kill his father in the beginning of the last alliance cinematic is really neat. Love it.
Looks like Jaina realized there at one point that she almost became the same as Sylvanas. If you watch her face in the last part of the confrontation between Anduin and Sylvanas.
I think Anduin has parallels with Arthas as much as Sylvanas do. Many people mentioned how his entrance looked really similar to Arthas's but I also think, despite of not doing anything evil (yet), Anduin did something for an important cause normally he wouldn't do and got the blood on his blade. Now it looks so white and black but I'd love to see things to change slowly and become completely reversed even. It may sound strange to some but I loved Anduin and I loved Sylvanas, I really think blizzard could and can do better.
We know how this is going to end. Even if we pretend otherwise. Alliance and Horde will fight in early expansion. Old-God threat will show itself mid-expansion. Sylvanas will be defied by the Horde end expansion. Sound familiar? Cause to me that sounds a lot like Pandaria and the motions with Garrosh all over again. Tune in to the next expansion for most-likely another time travel plot fucking up the lore even more at the promise of trying to bring back its audience... Or not.
The alliance threw everything they had into this battle or at least the humans did since they sent their high commander of the Stormwind defense out to help with the battle. Also they may have taken the city but they lost the battle.

Seriously... why didn't Anduin or even Varian at Broken Shore bring Muradin. Mountain Kings would be perfect for getting into the thick of the melee.
I wish they would do more quests like this because the legion one and this one was fun. Actually felt like an mmo.
