    The way the leaf gradually spread out was so satisfying.

    Not only did the seed look like a sugar baby candy, but it took 2 months to sprout. I think I would have soaked the seed in water for a week first to soften the outer layer. As always, I love your videos!

      Swearrr I was thinking the same thing
      My mind: hell I’ll eat the seed

      @@rexperverziffwhat so special about it? Doesnt many plant also sprouts as single leaf? It is a monocots.

      This Snake fruit plant is very easy to grow if you know the alternative ways.
      1. DRYING it under the Sun for a couple of days.
      2. PUT the seed on glass and pouring Hot Water then close it. Waiting till the heat is gone.
      The seed will grow faster..
      We can have this fruit for whole the year, cause I lived in Indonesia, a tropical country.

    Probably the slowest growing plant i have seen on this channel even in comparison to the oak
    Still one of the weirder plants in how this grows i have seen
    Cool👍

      It is one of tropical fruit native to Indonesia, commonly found in Java and Sumatra. If you live outside southeast Asia, it is likely a small chance to find it in any fruitshop.

    This fruit taste pretty sweet tho. The plant it's self really slow growth, when raining season we can harvest a bit faster, the fruit is cheap, if u come to Java Indonesia and get it directly from farmer's, it's around 0.2-0.7 USD/kg

    • @ai_rg
      @ai_rg ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's true, this fruit has unique sweet taste with strong scent which is kinda strange for some foreigners (almost same as when tasting durian fruit for the first time). The most famous snake fruit (salak) variety that cultivated in Indonesia is Salak Pondoh (Pondoh snake fruit), anyway i'm Indonesian and Javanese too :)

      @@ai_rgThank you for sharing the additional information. I truly had no idea of this plant. Do you know where the seeds can be bought?

    • @ai_rg
      @ai_rg ปีที่แล้ว

      @@movieseevillage4040 i'm very sorry, it's kinda hard to find that seeds outside the Indonesia and Southeast Asia, maybe you can check the online seeds store or check the Asian store who sells snake fruit

    • @OGSOKGOSIDINTSI
      @OGSOKGOSIDINTSI ปีที่แล้ว

      can you get fruit from just planting 1 tree???

    • @Avellieno
      @Avellieno ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OGSOKGOSIDINTSIsadly you can't because snake fruit needs to be pollinated. The method is to sprinkle male flower pollen on the female flowers. This mating takes place two days after the flowers bloom. Meanwhile it takes 5-6 months to harvest.
