I am also interested in how noisy the unit is when dehumidifier or AC is on

Hi. I’d love to hear about the hearing performance and how quiet/noisy the unit is on heating mode. Also a demonstration of dehumidifier and emptying the tank.

Thanks for the comment. It’s not quiet. I think it’ll be disruptive in a bedroom because when the compressor kicks in, it’s pretty loud.

Is it possible to use/drain this without a hose or not?

I have one and tbh not that impressed with it at all.
Love the fact it has multiple functions, but one of the let downs is the dehumidifier setting, one it doesnt show the humidity level which is no biggy but would of been nice and second of all it doesnt draw that much water if anything makes it worse with the exhaust as you are meant to run it without the hose.
I understand it has a self evaporation function but ive had it on for quite a few days in high humid area and the collection of water was non existent from the drain plug.
Aircon mode - in my kitchen which was 25-26c over the summer naturally and when having this unit in mayve dropped the temps by 4-5 degrees ? Whether thats good im not sure was slightly expecting more.
Lastly this is my bad but with the layout of the fans pointing to the ceiling even with oscillator on you really dont get the front facing function of a fan but as i say should of thought about that.
But anyway this is my experience of about 6-7 months. Glad you are enjoying it.

Would have been nice to actually see how you vented it outside... thats seems the worst/most differcult part of it ?

Thanks for watching and for the comment. The reason we never showed the vent going outside is because it'll be very different for every house based on window openings and heights. What we'll probably do later this summer is a short video showing how the vent goes out windows. In the time being, if you have questions about it, we'll be happy to answer them.

Is it smart ? Can it be operated by smartphone ?

I have the exact same model and the 14. Can I ask if yours fills up with condensation quickly? Mine has to be emptied about 5 times a day and where I live is not humid. The other model I have does not require emptying the tank at all.

    • @MyHomeFarm
      @MyHomeFarm  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, it requires frequent emptying.

@@MyHomeFarmthank you for confirming! If you ever want to upgrade the 14HPW has two condensation tanks and they sit near parts that heat up so the water evaporates. I never had to empty the tanks even during a heatwave. Other than that the unit is very good. :)

Nice update and I hopefully this week will begin the install of my Airconditioning units (Toshiba Haori) in 8 rooms of the house. It’s mainly for winter heating but the benefit of cooling in the summer is a bonus (maybe not as much of a need for that in the Scottish Highlands). As you may recall I decided to go to Airconditioning units rather than an ASHP with radiators/underfoor heating as my research led me to going for Air to Air solution as it appears to be slightly better efficiency and cheaper overall. I’ll post my experience and results of usage and cost on the Hub in the coming months after Ive had a chance to use it.

Great to hear from you Bob and really look forward to your A2A update. I think you've made the right call to move away from a water-based heating system.

Any chance of the heating review of this unit please? I'd be most interested in the noise it makes.

We’re working on it, and currently testing it.

@@MyHomeFarm I've bought a Meaco 10000CH which is in my office. Bit noisy but manageable.
